Rented a 125ft boom lift and 50ft scissor lift for a commercial installation project. Equipment was confirmed for an 8-10am delivery and didn't show up until mid-afternoon -- over 5 hours late. No one called or communicated the delay. I had to track down answers myself while my entire crew sat idle on site. That was just the start. The scissor lift broke down during the rental and needed maintenance, costing us another full day. Then the lift was removed from our job site without any notice or scheduled pickup, causing more confusion and downtime. After all of this, I assumed we'd both move on. Instead, two months of silence later, I received an invoice asking for more money. When I pushed back, they cited fine print in the contract and tried to downplay the delivery delay by claiming it didn't affect our work. It absolutely did. I've never had a rental experience this disorganized. Between the late delivery, broken equipment, unauthorized removal, lack of communication, and then being billed more after the fact, I would not recommend this company to anyone who depends on equipment showing up on time to keep a project on schedule. read more

A great Local business here in Arvada with just about anything you need for that extensive honey due list at reasonable prices! I rented an aerator to get the lawn ready for those May flowers and green grass after a good sprinkler shower! The rental process was quick and stress free. After they got me dialed in with my address and email, I laid down my credit card, signed the rental form, and then was directed to pull around back where I was met by one of the outdoor service representatives. He hooked me up with a receiver-hitch and gave me a quick orientation of how the gas powered aerator worked. He then secured the trailer/aerator to my van with the hitch and safety chain. Note: Gas is included with the rental! I also received a 20% Military Discount, as an honorably discharged Veteran. The aerator worked great and I had my small yard done in less than 20 minutes! Thank you very much! Fast & Friendly Five Star Service by the entire Staff! I definitely recommend "Arvada Rent-All's" to my Colorado friends, neighbors and fellow Yelpers! I honestly cannot rave enough about Arvada rent-alls. Another company left me in the lurch at the last minute with over 100 chairs for my son's elementary school graduation ceremony. Arvada Rent-alls - literally 15 minutes before they were due to close and 20 minutes before I had kids arriving for the event - not only was able to accommodate the chairs we needed, but went out of their way (and their typical protocol) to bring them to me because I was in such a bind. Waste $1200 and a day off because someone returned the chipper broken. Remember, you have no recourse if they can't come through for you, and they don't manage their fleet in a way that ensures your equipment will be ready on time. This is the second time I've had a clown show here, and I'm not happy about it. If you think this is ok, then use them. I can't afford to have projects fall apart and cost me twice. read more

I rented a fence post puller from these guys to do a some yard work at mine and my BILs houses. I checked around prices and availability for a bunch of places in my area and Arvada Rent-Alls actually had it in stock (unlike Home-cheapo) and I wouldn't have to give my left kidney to use it for an afternoon, so I went with them. Check in and pick up were super easy. I just went in, told them what I wanted to rent, signed some stuff and paid, then pulled around to the shed number they gave me and handed it to the staff member and they loaded it into my truck for me. The equipment its self worked great and I was able to finish with time to spare. So much so that they even refunded me the difference (I rented it for the whole day but gave it back within 4 hours). Finally an honest buisness! Drop off was just as easy, just make sure you actually go in after to finish the paperwork, don't just dump and drive off (I almost did). I'll definately be using them for future rental needs, I'm done with the big box stores. read more

A group of friendly people work there. It really feels like they have a lot of employees -- maybe they could hire fewer of them and work them harder -- but the result is an attentive staff and little wait time for anything. I've rented various things and purchased items (they're a Stihl dealer) over the years and have had good experiences. My neighbors and I like to help the "little guy" and promote the local economy, so we call Arvada Rent-Alls before we call, say, the guys in orange. I appreciate the integrity of the owner, Andrew. Occasionally (rarely) things don't go quite as anyone expects, and his employees are quick to try to make things right. If things go really haywire, Andrew himself will get involved and find a workable solution. He values his customers, and it shows. Arvada Rent-Alls has been in business for many decades, and that kind of success and longevity doesn't happen without having a good relationship with customers and the rest of the surrounding community. It also comes from finding and retaining quality employees, and it appears that Andrew supports them and has made them a high priority. I used to love these people. I purchased a piece of equipment from their rental fleet as it was being retired. I took it in for possible repair and was told we don't service those. It wasn't so much the fact they still offer an identical twin item from their current rental fleet, while swearing they can't trouble shoot my machine, that put me off. It was the attitude of not making any effort to be helpful regarding equipment I purchased from them. After and in desperation I asked, so what am I supposed to do now just throw it away, google it was the answer. PS, I let this slide but since my most recent experience, I feel it now appropriate to mention a rental that wasn't right/broken. I offered to pay for the damage if it was somehting I did but, oh, no it was like that. Before I was to leave i was to overhear a counter associate badmouthing the last renter (me) because he said I broke the equipment. I offered to pay but was told I didn't break it so, how was it to badmouth a customer when I again offered to make whatever it was right. Truth, I'm jealous of your financial ability to tell any customer to go kick rocks. Suggestion as the store wasn't busy and three of your associates either stood or sat there blankly staring at me instead of, dunno maybe offering to open a browser on one of the multitude of computers and see whom is servicing Windors these days? Look, this is a Man Place. Chainsaws, augers, bobcat thingys, the kind of stuff guys like to buy or rent. So really all I can opine on is the service. I've been here twice (shockingly) and have found the service to be absolutely exceptional. My husband thought the prices were very decent (in fact the chainsaw he bought was a good $80 less here than at Murdoch's)-- but then again we were buying tools, not renting them. He was also impressed with the good quality of the tools and for a guy who rations out compliments sparingly -- had a lot of great things to say about the guys who helped him. This place .... So i left an unsavory review with this company due to their negligence and lack of professionalism. I had multiple occasions where I'd drop off equipment and would take 3-5 months to be repaired, then they would never call me and tell me when my equipment was done. I still shopped there on occasion to buy chains when in the area only. I received a call from a manager telling me i had to take my review down. I stated i would not do this that it isn't fair for all of us small business owners to have to communicate and run effectively but them not too. That his employees negligence and rudeness was sub par. He then cussed me out and told me not to shop in his store. I hung up and he called and left 4 voicemails. He then went to texting being violent and rude. I left it at that and then an employee of mine went in to rent something and apparently the man yelled at him, thought he was me, would not provide service to him, made him show an id, then walked him to his car. He was so shocked he called me immediately. With that said I'll be posting this to colorado arborist facebooks page, as well as telling every person i encounter how they handle business. We recommend if you can avoid it NOT shopping here as these people are not trust worthy and do not operate effectively. If you can all seasons rent all and Scott is hands down the way to go if you want a fair price, honest work, and communication! read more

I bought a Honda Snowblower from Arvada Rent-Alls several years ago. The snowblower has performed very well. This last fall, I thought it couldn't hurt to change the spark plug, tighten and replace loose screws. I dropped the blower off and two weeks later picked it up, ready for winter. The first measurable snow storm I was ready to break out the blower. Two swipes of my driveway and my blower started vibrating choking and spiting, no shooting like bullets, bolts and screws. Thankfully, no one was injured or property damaged. I emailed Arvada Rent-Alls with an explanation of what happened, asking that they make it right.. I received call from Jessie 1 day later, confirming that they did indeed service the blower and apologized for the incident. Jessie sent a driver to my home to pick-up the blower and had it returned that same afternoon. I am so impressed that this business so stepped up, to not only fixing the issue but was so ready to make it right. Our basement flooded on a Thursday night. We were in desperate need of carpet dryers. We called arvada rentals at 5:25 (they close at 5:30), they said they would wait for me to come. It took me 10 minutes to get there and they were amazing and more then accommodating in a very stressful time. They loaded my car and were great!! Even when I retired the dryers they were so friendly, unloaded my car and were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Arvada Rentals. read more

Arvada Rent-Alls is a great business in our area. They have an excellent selection of rental equipment and I recently purchased a Honda mower that I'm very pleased with. Their staff is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, as another customer highlighted, I'm seeing indications that customer service has dropped off substantially. Perhaps a result of being too busy, or the effort associated with opening their second location in Littleton, and now simply not thinking about how to treat the customer in a way that they feel truly valued. That's a slippery slope. If they can work on the "customer focused" aspect, I think they are headed for five star ratings! I'm hoping they can as I sincerely would like to see this business continue to thrive in our area. It's an important part of the Arvada small business community. read more

I have been coming here for the past few years since I moved into arvada. Mainly to refill my propane tanks (only .95 per lb ). I have also done a few small rentals and had my mower blades sharpened here. Most recently, I was given a 30lb propane tank by a friend but it was 3 years out of 12 year requirement for certification. They recertified it for only 5 dollars and 5 minutes. do not rent from these people. i reserved a compressor for blow outs months ago and was told not to worry. i show up this morning and was told i was on some kind of reserve list. this will NEVER happen again and im done doing any kind of buisness there. United rental takes better care of people and show no favoritism. its a little more out of the way but reliable. keep your big contracts Arvada, the small owners of colorado companies dont matter to you. my money will go to folks who say what they mean and mean what they say. read more

My experience is with the rental side of the business, not sales. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their price for the rental was better than Home Depot by ten bucks AND they included fuel to take along AND they actually showed me how to use the tools and included the instruction manual. At Home Depot they gave me a tool with any explanation or instructions, and on top of that it ended up not working anyway. I will definitely come back here in the future. read more

He gave me recommendations for winter storage and sold me the only parts needed . He would not charge me for his time and started my saw immediately. They have helped me before with my saws. I live in Broomfield, about a 40-min drive from Rent Alls. Today I called ahead and spoke to Nick in sales. I asked whether Rent Alls had a specific Honda lawn mower in stock. Nick indicated that it was in stock. My wife and I drove to Arvada, only to find that, no, Rent Alls did NOT have that model in stock. To compensate for my time and gas, I asked Nick whether the company would deliver the mower to Broomfield when one was in stock. Of course, he said, but we would charge a $60 delivery fee. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? If it's not too far out of your way and you need a Honda mower, I suggest visiting G&G Equipment in Frederick. SO DISAPPOINTED. I hate when local business gets so busy they forget who the loyal customers are. I've rented from this company for 20 years as a contractor and was always treated well...Until today. I had a reservation for a rental on a walk behind skid steer....1st weekend in 5 weeks it's been dry enough to work. I show up to pick up equipment at 8:30 and am immediately asked for concessions on my rental time "Because we over booked and need it back". I tell them I can have my job done in 4-5 hours but I have to bust my ass to get it done. The guy at the front counter indicates I can have it for the 3 hour price if I can have it back by 3 or 4pm even thought the contract says 6PM. I tell him I can do it to help them out. We do the paperwork and sign the contract. They are most appreciative. Then they tell me a vehicle I brought in the day before and got OKed by them for a 1 mile trailer tow is not good. I then ask them if they'll just deliver it. $60 more I'm told. I tell the guy I am talking to I'll be back with a truck. Apparently he didn't hear me because after securing the truck and being back in less then 30 minutes with it they rented my reservation out from under me. Told me they would do nothing to accommodate their errors and they closed the contract.. read more
