My wife and I have used Groome exclusively from St.Cloud to MSP and back for several years and NEVER had a bad experience.

The driver was wonderful. She drove safe, helped us with our luggage and was so very nice. The van's AC was broken. We had to ride the whole way (about 4 hours) with windows (only two of them up front) open in 85 degree heat. When we got to transfer center in St Cloud the wonderful driver was kindly explaining the AC problem to a younger woman, a Groome employee, who was manning the counter (about 7-8pm on 23 July 2026). This woman was not nice. She was denegrating the nice driver, insinuating the AC problem was her fault for not opening up the rear vents. I told her the AC wasn't blowing any cold air out of even the front vents and that the vents were open throughout the van. She then became rude even to me claiming the AC was working and had just been repaired. She was very dismissive to me when I was telling her plainly the AC didn't work. This woman at the desk should not work at Groome. I have had the most friendly encounters with EVERYONE at Groome over the last 10 years. But this young lady was downright mean, dismissive and denegrating to me, another passenger who also noted the broken AC system and her own fellow employee, the very nice driver. A broken AC is unacceptable during the summer. But that is nothing compared to watching a nice person get denigrated and then being dismissed myself for reporting a mechanical problem with our van. For this reason I will not recommend Groome Transportation to anyone unless follow up action is taken to 1) fix van's AC and 2) counsel and train the rude employee on how to treat people with kindness. read more

When in Europe I received a message on my phone that my location of pickup had been changed. I had never changed my location and didn't have time to find out what was going on. It turned out that someone had heard I was taking Groome and decided that they were going to pick me up instead of the person I had planned to pick me up and the pickup would be at a different loation. I never okayed this and wanted what I had set up in the first place. I wrote a letter last summer to Groome due to my concern that my privacy had been leaked out and someone was allowed to change my reservation. There was no response to the letter. This is an extremely unsafe practice at Groome!!! read more

I have spent thousands of dollars riding with Groome my flight arrived early i called the office to let them know I was here. And asked them to let the driver know I was here so the driver wouldn't leave early. They wouldn't do it. I arrived at the pick up point BEFORE the scheduled departure time. And the shuttle left early. I am livid so much so I might even stop using groome transportation. read more

I have used Groome for 10+ years and have always had amazing service until this evening. My driver left early without me. I received a text saying he left as I had been waiting for 8 minutes. I had 2 witnesses stating he left. When I called dispatch to express my frustration, I was basically told I was wrong and what I was saying was untrue due to GPS. He might have been in the parking lot but he was not in the building at the desk for shuttle. I did see the other driver. I was more upset with how dispatch treated me then the driver even leaving me. Check your camera for validation - and be careful before insinuating your loyal customers are being untruthful. Customer service can make or break loyalty ans empathy goes a long way. read more

The Groome driver left me stranded--the shuttle left 3 minutes BEFORE scheduled pick-up time!There was no call or text to my cell...no call or text to my alternate number. My 12:25 AM shuttle left at 12:22 AM! I SAW it leave!!! I was behind a large suitcase being pulled through the door--giving me no chance to get through  in time to flag the shuttle down in the pickup area. I was left stranded...with no way to find out if the next (1:40 AM) shuttle would stop there. (There is NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE at Groome between 10 PM and 7 AM.) Our only car had been left for me at the Groome lot in Waite Park...so my husband had no way to pick me up. The 1:40 AM shuttle did finally show up...over 10 minutes late! I did get a ride on that shuttle...but didn't arrive home until 4:00 AM!! The only "contact" method available was the messaging on their web site. I left a message shortly after 12:30 AM. I left another message on Thursday It is now almost a week later and no one has even bothered to respond to either of my messages!! This is NOT good business!! THEY were unreliable and left a 73-yr-old woman--traveling on her own--stranded at the Minneapolis airport in the wee hours of the morning! I would NOT recommend them to anybody! They are NOT reliable...and apparently don't care!! read more

Love Groome Transportation. They are so dependable and efficient. It's always a great start and finish to my travel to Minneapolis.

I did enjoy the ride from Minneapolis Airport to St cloud MN and got home on time. I didn't know about Groome until a friend of mine told when I asked him for ride. read more

If it was possible to give this company negative stars I would. I called asking for my pickup time to be changed for noon, and they scheduled 9:55. Nope, not what I asked for. When I called and spoke to the operations manager, she said " I don't know what you're thinking but.... Is that anyway to talk to your customer? Not where I come from. Scheduled a pickup at my house for an early morning airport trip. I was told to be there 15 minutes prior to pickup time which was 230am. So like an idiot I stood in my driveway at 215am...at 245 there was still no vehicle...I called the number but no answer it said to call back during business hours. At 3am still no sign of the driver and no one called to say they were running later or anything, so I started worrying that I'd miss my flight so I got in my car and drove the 1.5 hours to minneapolis and had to pay for 4 days of parking. Worse yet, after 3am the driver shows up, rings my doorbell and wakes my wife and kids and when my wife told him that I'd left already because the flight was coming up, he got an attitude with her and was really annoyed like I was the one who was late. I got the whole thing on my ring camera, he was like "ugh go figure, whatever" and then walked away. I called later to request a refund, left a vm and no one called me back. I was traveling to MSP to catch a plane on August 1. The driver FORGOT to pick me up because he was reportedly talking to the passengers from his first pick up. My husband had to drive me, at a high rate of speed, from Little Falls, MN, to St. Cloud, to catch up with the shuttle. Extremely stressful on the first leg of 3 parts of my journey. I received a voicemail from Brad at Groome offering me a $25 credit toward my next ride! I have tried to reach him 4 times, no answer or voicemail for Brad. The offer is useless anyway as I will never, ever use Groome again. It is a very loosely organized company, motivated by money rather than service. Thanks for reading. read more

We've experienced two round trips from St. Cloud to MSP airport over the past 4 months and each trip has exceeded our expectations for schedule, on time pick up and delivery, professionalism and friendliness of the driver and staff at the office. On our last return on a Sunday night, we found that our vehicle's battery was dead. We talked to two employees who immediately brought out a vehicle and jumper cables and jumped the battery. We were on our way in no time. Even though this was not part of their job responsibilities, they assisted us in our time of need and we are deeply grateful to them for going above and beyond to help! We will definitely use the service again! It is much less expensive than parking at the airport, and much less stressful to have someone else drive the crazy freeways! read more

Help me understand why it now costs $44 for a ride to the airport when the last time I booked a ride it was around $20. This is an insane price increase and I would rather drive myself and park at the airport. I used to love Groome and use them and recommend them. Not anymore read more

I feel bad for staff and drivers, but after Groome undercut the long-term local transportation company until they squeezed them out of business early this year, then more than doubled the fares immediately after, I couldn't ask for better karma than to see the St. Cloud Groome line shut down due to COVID. read more

Terrible service on ride back to Waite Park from Minneapolis airport. The plane we arrived on was 1/2 hour late getting in from Mexico , after effects of bad weather in the area, and we also had to clear customs . They had our flight information but did not or could not use to allow the van to wait for us. Instead of leaving the airport at 12:45 am. when we could have, had they waited, we had to wait at the airport until 4:15 am. for our ride to Waite Park. They apparently don't have enough vans scheduled to allow for weather or plane delays. Be cautious using unless you get assurances from them of timely pick ups or adjustments to schedule if needed for flight schedule issues. Ask them why they ask for flight information if they have no intention or ability to utilize it to serve their customers. Very disappointed with customer service, not planning on using them again. read more

You can't beat price of this transportation service. I'm giving it four stars because they are not necessarily punctual. I always ride with them but the shuttle is 5-10 minutes late for the most part. read more
