I use them to go to the doctor on medical appointments and I love them very much and I also use Care Cab

Terrible service. I called the evening before to schedule a pickup for the next morning at 530 a. m. for work. I asked if it would be a problem since I needed to get to work and if it wouldn't work I would find a different way since I could not be late. The dispatcher assured me that I would be picked up on time as he put it "i put very important next to your name." With that being said I was confident I didn't need to try and find a different way and everything would be ok. The next morning comes around and I'm ready to go at 530 waiting, looking out the window. Five forty rolls around and there is still no cab. I'm beginning to get nervous, but I figure I did order it twenty minutes early to make sure I wouldn't be late so I can wait a bit more. Now, it's 545 and still no show. It takes ten minutes to get to my work from my house, so now I call cause if they somehow missed me, they need to start coming right now so I can get there. I call and a different dispatcher answers. I tell her my predicament and ask if there is someone on the way. I get a sigh and a "we are doing the best we can to get everyone picked up on time and they are on their way to your house right now." So I get off the phone and wait yet again, hoping that they get here asap. Ten minutes pass, then finally my cab arrives. It is now 6:00 a. m., the time that I'm supposed to be at my job. The cab driver asks if I had been waiting long and without pause I say, "yes, I have. I ordered this cab last night at 9pm for 530 this morning to make sure I got to work on time. Because I cannot risk being late to my job. It is a new job, this is only my 5th day and I'm still a temp." I did everything in my power to make sure i was going to be on time and it didn't matter cause I was lied to by two dispatchers that I was safe in their hands. The cab driver then told me that there's no reason why I shouldn't have been picked up on time as they asked about my scheduled pickup and were told by the dispatch that they weren't to pick me up yet cause "they didn't have time to do my run cause it was all the way to sauk rapids and they were to do their other in town runs first." I was told by the driver that they normally do their runs to the methadone clinic first cause the customers use the cabs every day and are bigger money makers since most of them are paid for with state or insurance money and the cabs are able to charge the maximum available from them regardless of distance or time per run. What a bunch of crap. So I was made to be late to my job because of greedy drivers and a greedy cab company that blatantly lied to me when they knew damn well that they were going to do all their daily clinic runs first regardless of how badly I needed to be on time or how early I had set up my ride. NEVER AGAIN. They will never get my patronage again. I will use any other cab company or Uber or lyft or bike or walk before I trust them to get me to where I need to get. It's obvious to me that they have lost to all these other transportation methods in every way except as a ride to clinics as covered by insurance or the state and they seem to know it and have given up on customer satisfaction. To give closure on my story, I did lose the job because I was not on time for that one time. Thanks Yellow Cab. I even asked if it would be a problem getting me my ride cause if it was I just needed to know so I could find another way. They chose to lie and give me false sense of comfort. I can't wait for them to shut down as they will inevitably with the rise of alternatives that have people who are motivated by good service and have no reason or means to lie to their customers. read more

had to wait over an hour and half to be picked up i was down to the cab in just bout 1 mim got it meter already at 3.5 ???? driver sys waitting time go to cashwise east been going over 15 yrs know fare like the back of my hand. go in store quick pickup and back home now for years and just last week the fare has always $6.5O Tonight the fare was $ 23.oo the company says they add waitting time was in the store about 7 mins .they ripped me off and the driver was rude and total asshole stuck using them only if no other cab is around read more

The dispatchers are not professional nor courteous! If they mess up and do something wrong, they will hang-up on you anytime and will NOT admit they messed up your cab appointment. I had a clinic appointment and was scheduled for work so I booked a cab 30 minutes ahead of time; the dispatcher confirmed it. 30 minutes later I called to check on my cab and the same dispatcher answered and said that I won't get the cab for another 30 minutes. I asked Why? She said that they had some client who requested a cab after I had called and they were ready to be picked up; Yellow Cab put me off for another 30 minutes and gave that other customer the priority (meaning an hour from the time I called). The dispatcher then told me that she had customers waiting on the line and it was me who was holding up the lines and delaying others. I told her that I should be at a higher priority because they messed my appointments up; she hung up the phone! I called back and asked for a manager to complain to, they gave me a supervisor. The supervisor said that I "should have known" that the company policy was that an "in-advance" cab reservations, a customer has to book 60 minutes ahead of time. Since I called 30 minutes ahead of time, I did not get any priority. I told her the dispatcher did not tell me any of that and if I was given such information, I could have taken the earlier cab, called another company, took the bus, or even went walking. Not being responsible nor professional caused me to lose my clinic appointment and I was late for work. Moreover, I was treated in the most disrespectful manner ever. Usually I have no issue with them. Tonight I ordered a cab that never showed up. Plus the lady on the phone was really rude. Then when I answered the call for the taxi driver he was rude too and hung up on me. Taxi number was 401. Not happy. Customer service was terrible. read more

Scheduled ride for Sat AM. Driver arrived a couple minutes early, was helpful & friendly. Overall a much better experience than with St Cloud Taxi; I plan to use these guys from now on. read more

I've taken this company for 13 years and have never had a real problem until lately. Last week I had a pick up time of 1:30pm, no show, I call, first I go through 3 rounds of no answers, then was told that a pick up time was not really a pick up time and I would have to wait my turn, the woman (not Kirsten) was very rude, 50 minute wait. This week I called to be picked up at the store, while waiting another woman told me there was an hour wait time. So I called, Kirsten answered and was very polite but said it should be within 45 minutes and apologized. After an hour I called once again and the rude woman answered and said it would be another hour to an hour and a half. She stated that there was 6 people who called before me (this had been an hour already). A two and a half hour wait for 6 people ahead of me! I'm very disgusted with this company right now and I will never call dispatch again. If, and it's a big if, I use this company again, I'll call the drivers direct. read more
