They were always very nice and knowledgeable and caring, and their prices were decent, especially considering the groomers are all students, so I expect them to be less than a professional grooming facility. My dogs never looked the way I expected them to though, although they were always clean and happy (and that's the important part, really.) They used to be $25 for a full groom, so after a $10 tip for each dog, $70 a month for my dogs' grooms seemed reasonable. But then they got this new woman, I don't know if she's a student of employee, but she was RUDE and incredibly condescending toward my dogs...and toward me. If you go there and you see a blonde with star tattoos, don't walk, RUN! That woman is the last person who has the personality or temperment to work with animals. I ended up complaining about her after two seperate incidences with her. The last straw was when I referred yet another friend to them and called for pricing because her dog is much bigger than mine. I was told the same price that I'd been paying for my two. Well, after they were done and it came time to pay, I found out my friend's dog just got a bath, and my two (who got a full groom) cost $15 more each. It would have been nice if they'd told me before, especially considering I'd been going there for every month for years and referred several of their clients to them. I now take my guys to Just Like Home Doggie Hotel and Grooming...and they are BEYOND fabulous!

I got a deal on daily deals through the Review Journal and decided, what the heck. PetSmart's cool and all, but it's always good to try something new. So, I got the deal and brought them in. They are a dog grooming school, so you can't really expect the best of the best, but the task at hand is pretty easy considering that they're corgis and don't need to be cut. Wash them furbabies, and you good to go! I did ask for a furminator service to remove as much shedding as possible. They didn't do the best job on that, but I have to give them credit since the two dogs are shedding like crazy. It's impossible to get rid of it all. They are very friendly and even put a cute bandana on the two doggies. I wasnt blown away (I mean cmon now- it's basic dog grooming- not much to be impressed about), but I'd go there again.

It has now been two days, and despite multiple attempts to reach someone, I have received no phone call, no apology, and no meaningful effort to address what happened to my dog. What I did receive was a public response to my review containing information that does not accurately reflect my experience. Rather than taking responsibility, reaching out directly, or showing concern for an injured pet, the business appears more focused on defending itself online. What I find especially troubling is that the company's public response states that veterinary care was offered when I picked him up. That is simply not what happened. No veterinary care was offered at pickup. In fact, I was explicitly told that he did not need it. It was only later, after I called to follow up, that a receptionist mentioned I could take him to a veterinarian associated with their business. By that point, my confidence in the company's judgment and handling of the situation had already been shaken. I understand that accidents can happen when working with animals. What I cannot accept is the complete lack of accountability afterward. My dog was returned to me actively bleeding despite being described as "fine," and he was also returned with feces on his hindquarters. These are not opinions--they are facts that I personally witnessed. The true measure of a business is not whether mistakes happen, but how those mistakes are handled. In my case, there has been no meaningful follow-up, no attempt to make things right, and no willingness to engage in an honest conversation about what occurred. Pet owners should be aware that if something goes wrong, they may be left to deal with the aftermath on their own.

I trust the team completely with his care, which says a lot when you're handing over a member of your family. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about the dogs. They do a great job keeping pet parents informed and will reach out if they notice anything out of the ordinary, even something as minor as an upset stomach. I really appreciate knowing that they're paying attention and that my border collie isn't just another dog in the yard. I also want to give a special shout-out to managers Aurora and Stef. They've always been wonderful, helpful, and incredibly caring with my boy over the years. I personally appreciate the care BarxParx takes with assessments and safety. When you're trusting a facility with your dog, you want to know they're being thoughtful about which dogs are in the daycare environment and making everyone's safety a priority. After six years of daycare, I can confidently say my border collie is treated like family here. He loves BarxParx, and so do I.

They were there for a little over 48 hours and one of my dogs came back shaking and panting uncontrollably and unable to relax. I have reached out to this business and they just keep telling me it's my dogs fault and will not give me anymore information. I have seen other reviews stating the same thing from within the last year and while I was hesitant to bring her this last time because she has had a great experience in the past I did anyway which IS my fault. My dog who has been going there since she was 6 months and is now almost 5 has never had issues like this and has come back a completely different dog. If you value your dogs and their health (mental and physical) look somewhere else. Part of her paw pad was cut off AS WELL. They called me and told me that the groom would be free of charge due to the incident. REALLY?! They didn't even finish the service so of course it should have been free! They asked did I want to have them meet me at a vet or did I want to pick her up.... TAKE my bleeding dog to the vet! Why are you even asking me this?! I requested for the owner to call me and still have not heard from them. My dog is recovering but she is completely traumatized by this experience. I have never seen my dog tremble, bleed or cry this much in the 12 years I've had her. I am more so disappointed that there has been NO FOLLOW UP or explanation as to how this happened.
