Nashville boarded over the Memorial Day and along with her pawgress report I got these great happy pup photos of her with her friends. It was also Leonard's birthday and his awesome parents brought these super cute treat bags with Leonard's photo on them for his friends. Seriously the cutest! Again, I cannot express how happy I am we found BarxParx, Nashville is thriving there, making friends, the staff loves her and she loves being there!

5 Stars - Thank You, Stephy! My boyfriend and I were shopping around for a good dog trainer for our pitbull puppy when we came across BarxParx and found Stephy--and we're so glad we did! Stephy is absolutely amazing at what she does. She's incredibly knowledgeable in her field and made the entire experience both fun and educational. Over the course of six weeks, we saw such a positive transformation in our puppy, Moose. The group class was small and intimate, which made it easy for both of us to be involved in the training process. What we really appreciated is that Stephy wasn't just training our puppy she was also teaching us about puppy behavior, communication, and how to be better dog parents. She was so patient with us (and Moose!) every step of the way. Moose genuinely looked forward to going to class every week, which says a lot. Thank you so much, Stephy, for everything. You've helped us lay the foundation for a well-behaved, happy pup, and we couldn't be more grateful!

We're back at it again with the amazing Stephy- but this time for agility! Each week we are challenging ourselves with new obstacles like tunnels, hurdles, weaving courses, an a-frame and even a teeter-totter. We're in week five of six and I can say we'd LOVE to do it again to continue building our skills. This is a great way to bond with your pup while having fun. I can't rave enough about Stephy- my pup adores her as much as he enjoys coming for class. Two dew claws up from my boy Myles, and two thumbs up from Mom!

The dog trainer Stephy Gonzalez is top tier! She is one of the few certified trainers in LV and that shows through her skills and dedication. We recently rescued a puppy and knew she would need some training and support. Thankfully we found Stephy because it changed everything for us. Our dog is even doing better with our elderly cat since completing the training academy 1. We can't wait to enroll in academy 2 and even plan on enrolling our older pup to help strengthen his training and skills. So appreciative of Stephy

We love Barx Parx! They truly care about the dogs, giving them kisses and hugs, playing w them. They do fun things like pictures w themes (Patriotic, Summer fun). Coco gets really excited when I tell her she's going to "school" for the day and doesn't want to leave when we pick her up from daycare. The other thing I love is that the park rangers watch while they play and will intervene if play is too rough etc. We have boarded Coco overnight in preparation for us going on a long weekend trip and she loved it! She was so worn out from playing with her friends that she slept the entire next day! The boarding is wonderful because there is a park ranger there overnight and unless you want your dog in a kennel, the dogs all sleep together. Instead of her being at home w a dog sitter she doesn't really know with no one to play with, this option is fantastic! Don't let your pup miss out, check them out for yourself!

I have been boarding and taking my Wilson (corgi) for daycare here for over 4 plus years. The staff is amazing always helpful. I love the pictures and the report cards. They have been a life saver to me these past years. My little Wilson can be a handful and loves to talk a lot. I'm so happy I have this amazing place so close to me. I love how safe Barx Parx is with checking to make sure all the dogs have updated vaccines. My veterinarian always warns against public dog parks because half the dogs aren't vaccinated. I love the reminders of upcoming vaccinations because my dates are all over place. I might be moving and I know I will not find a place this amazing for Wilson. They truly all care. Thank you for always loving Wilson on good days and bad.

We just finished a 6 week training course with our Shepherd/Malinois mix. She now has the basic commands down so we can continue to the next course with distractions. Trainer Stephy was great.

My bulldog attends doggy daycare 1x weekly here, and she comes home completely wiped out - a tired dog is a good dog, they say. ;) The staff seem to genuinely care about her, and Coco loves them. I like that the dogs roam free (no kennels), and they also offer fun add-ons, such as holiday photos, paw print crafts, and "barkcuterie" boards! I couldn't be happier about the love and attention my pup experiences here.

I couldn't be more THRILLED to have BarxParx here in Vegas-- in fact, I WISH they'd open up ANOTHER one, say... near Spring Valley or Summerlin? Ahhhhh that would be PERFECT-- and it is SOO NECESSARY for the health of our city's socialized dogs! You see, I absolutely SWEAR by Puppy Socialization classes-- my first dog, Arrow the Airedale (star of stage and screen-- no really, you can find him on FB/ IG!!) learned bite inhibition (!!) and how to get along with all kinds of 2-leggeds and 4-leggeds as well as various commands and motor skills (ramps, obstacles, his old NYC "school" even had a POOL for the dogs!!) within DAYS of starting ... I mean, I can train my dogs and get them exposed to all of that too, but not on the consistent scale and helpful supervision of other trainers and responsible pet parents within a dog-safe environment... BRING ON BARXPARX! My second pup, Scrappy, started attending at 12 weeks old, literally the week we brought him home from the breeder's. It has been 4 weeks of PURE joy, his and ours (myself and my husband)... watching him interact with everyone and breaking the monotony of life-as-usual every Sunday from 2-2:30 (but usually a bit longer than that, if we're lucky!) Stephy Gonzalez the EXPERT trainer and doggo guru always finds teachable moments in every class, and I always come away knowing more than when I walked in. In fact, I cannot wait to start Scrappy's obedience and agility training when he is ready (neutered). I KNOW BarxParx is more than capable of all of this, as Stephy and her staff are absolute pros in every way, they truly know breed temperaments and are clearly dog lovers all around! Plus, BarxParx also takes care of the 2-leggeds... there's dog-friendly Happy Hours and events all the time-- for BOTH you and your 4-legged. And yes, you fall in love with everyone's pup, and it somehow brings out the humanity in all of our post-pandemic-non-social hearts, because you start truly connecting with their humans too. Ahhh Barx Parx, you do all that for us!! What an AMAZING concept, what a gem of a place! (Now clone the Parx and open another on the other side of town! I'm clearly begging!)

After adopting Baxter, I immediately thought about the different daycares I could take him to and all of my friends brought up Barx Parx. Taking him to Barx Parx was the best decision. He LOVES going and playing with the park rangers and all of his friends. Since I started with Barx Parx, I've had nothing but positive interactions with every worker. They take the best care of meeting his needs and are extremely communicative with my partner and I about how he's doing, scheduling daycare, boarding, and grooming. Thank you to everyone at Barx Parx for taking great care of Baxter. When we go on walks now, he walks me straight to my car because he keeps wanting to go back. :) I can't wait to see how he continues to grow with my partner and I as well as with all of you!

We took our mini English bulldog here and had an amazing time! Everyone here gave my dog all the loving that she craves. So much petting and love! She was always really excited to come here to see everyone... pulling on the lease all the way to the front door. I think I might have enjoyed this place more than my dog did because there are so many cute dogs to play with here. Two of my favourites were Chloe the Frenchie and Homer the pug. Thank you for an awesome couple of months this summer!

How much do you charge for over night boarding?

Our puppy sleepovers are very different than other facilities. They are 100% cage/kennel free and our staff literally sleeps IN THE PARK and cuddles with your pup You also have access to watch 24/7 on webcam. Each night is only $64.95 per dog and…

For puppy socialization sessions on sundays are all of the puppies put into a play group together or do you usually split up the puppies into smaller groups?

Usually there are less than 8 puppies in attendance every Sunday, so we rarely ever have a need to separate into smaller groups. But should the occasion arise (whether for a fuller class or if two puppies are just not getting along for any reason),…

Is there an age requirement for doggie daycare? I have a 14 week old puppy but she is not yet spayed. I would really like to get her socialized and playtime with other dogs ASAP.

Hi there! We hold a weekly 2pm Puppy Socialization class on Sundays for dogs ages 8 to 16 weeks :)…

Can you order drinks during park hours in general or only on fridays?

Alcoholic beverages are on sale Fridays during happy hour from 4pm to 8pm only. Non-alcoholic beverages are on sale seven days a week.

    Are? You Breed specific?

Hi there! We love ALL breeds at Barx Parx! Every dog will need to pass a behavior assessment and be up to date on vaccines / neutered if over the age of 6 months, but no dog will ever be discriminated against because of its breed.

Hi! Since this is an indoor facility, where do all the dogs use the bathroom? Are they walked outside the facility (is there a designated area)? Or are they allowed to use the bathroom where they play? Curious how this works for sanitary reasons. :)

Hi there! This is an excellent question :) We are a 100% indoor facility with potty turf stations in all yards where the pups are encouraged to go potty. However, the dogs are all more than welcome to go wherever they are comfortable. Our floors are…

We are planning on vacationing at Vegas soon. What are your drop off and pickup hours? I was hoping to take my kids to a show, but most shows begin at 7p. Are there any special requirements for people visiting Las Vegas?

Hi there! We have extremely flexible drop off (as early as 6am) and pick up (as late as 9:45pm) times to help accomodate any schedule! There are no special requirements for people from outside of Vegas, just our normal process which is as follows:…

Are both large and small dogs in the same are? Hypothetically- What happens if an issue arises between my dog and another?

Hi! Customer here. Everything Jen said! We have a 25 lb shiba who likes to play with big dogs, when we come in the staff know all the dogs and their tendencies and do a good job managing personalities that may not get along well together. Sometimes…

I have a 40 pound 14 week old Bernese Mountain dog. She needs some puppy playtime and socialization but I stopped going to class because of Covid. She is awful on a leash. Is there a place for her there so she can get some playtime?

Absolutely there is! We'd love to meet her! Next steps are super simple. Just go to barxparx.com/register and upload her vaccine files so that we can get her free 20-minute behavior assessment scheduled ASAP :)

Do I need to be a member to use dog boarding?

No membership is required for any of our Barx Parx services! Next steps are barxparx.com/register to get your pup's free behavior assessment scheduled :) Thanks so much and have a great day!

    Is it kids friendly too?

Sorry, no one under 21 is allowed. We are a 21+ facility.

What I appreciated most were the updates, pictures, and communication throughout his stay, something many boarding facilities don't provide. Originally, we had a reservation back home with our normal pet resort, but didn't want to be away from Beary for so long; We often have to drop him off a day before our trip and don't pick him up again until the day after we get back, so that's an extra two days without the little guy (and two extra days of boarding to boot). So we looked into the possibility of boarding him close to our hotel while we were in town. A family member sent us a recommendation to go to Buddies and my wife reached out to ask about vacancy for the weekend and the owners got back to us right away to let us know they would be able to take him in and walked her through the process of submitting all the necessary documentation and clearing him to stay. Our little guy is not fixed yet, so unfortunately, he was unable to be group boarded (which is typcial). Check-in was a breeze, and He had a nice large play area to have all to himself and was boarded in a private suite. They also took him out for a walk twice a day while he was there, as well as playtime with the staff constantly. What was really awesome was that they would send us pics of him during his walks, playtime, and before bedtime. It was really awesome to get the periodic updates...which really put us (especially the kids) at ease. And it was really reassuring to know he was close by to us. Staff was super nice and friendly. The consistent updates really made an enormous difference for us. Our usual resort does not do that...so that put them way above. They seemed to genuinely enjoy Beary's company. We would DEFINITELY bring him back here again on future trips (and that is more often than not) and I wish they were located close to home...or that we lived in Vegas so we could bring him more often...wishful thinking =p

I decided to take Buddy to Doggie District so he can socialize with other dogs and get comfortable around other people. During the 3-4 months Buddy attended DD, he was able to learn how to socialize. I was happy with his progress and I thought the staff was great albeit very young. There were a few occasions I would hit traffic picking up Buddy. Nevertheless, I would get a call or I would call communicating my ETA and the young lady at that time was always understanding and would wait, I was always there 10 minutes past 7pm the few times I ran late. I even booked grooming once. When I arrived she was still working on Buddy. Nevertheless, the young lady closing down the store on this particular night was patient. I always felt that DD was a great establishment. My one complaint was that the app to view your dog playing in the courtyard never seemed to work, 2 years later, I rescued a 6 month old cocker spaniel puppy Sassy, Sassy is a Alpha puppy with a lot of energy. I spent the next few months getting Sassy all of her vacations, spayed, and microchipped. Sassy has so much energy. I decided to take her to Doggie District, she did her trial run in March and i planned to have her start in April. I was planning a trip around that time and my mom was going to come over and watch my dogs. Sassy was still hyper and strong so I felt it was best for my mom to utilize daycare from 7am - 7pm for Sassy so she wouldn't be overwhelmed. The morning before I was suppose to leave on my trip, my boyfriend called to confirm sassy first month. DD takes his payment over the phone and then informs him that Sassy records aren't up to date. He calls me and I'm telling him that isn't accurate. I was unable to find her records at the time and I was also rushing to get to work. My boyfriend says he'll call the vet and have them email it over, Seven Hills sends over Sassy's records and I am thinking everything is fine. My mom takes Sassy for her drop off and I head to work. I get a call from my mom telling me that the young lady says Sassy's records have expired and she will not admit her. I am annoyed but my mom is obnoxiously angry and loud. My mom feels the young lady at the desk was being rude so my mom is being rude back. I end up talking to Riley. I let Riley know that can't be possible because sassy was recently vaccinated. Riley was apologetic and offered to call Seven Hills. I was patient and calm, I thanked Riley for trying to find a solution. I let Riley know that my vet had already emailed Sassy records. Riley was able to find the email and was immediately apologetic saying she is new and this was all her fault. I told her not to worry. I then called my mom to let her know everything is resolved, I had planned to pick Sassy up after work. I received an important call that ran longer. As I'm leaving work, I called DD letting them know I might be a little late but I was on my way. The girl who answered the phone (Quill) asked me for my eta. I plugged it in to Waze and it said 7:03. I told Quill 705 and she told me it was fine and that she will be there. The moment I jumped on the freeway, the time spiked to 715 because of an accident. I got off which brought the time to 709 which is when I arrived. I observed the lights off and it appeared to be closed, However, there was a woman in her car with the radio on and her window open, I thought she might be working there. When I pulled on the door, it was locked. I looked at the lady in her car and she motioned and told me to knock. I did what she said and nothing happened. I knocked a few more times and nothing. I see and hear the lady call someone so I assume she is letting the employee know I'm outside. I wait for awhile and know one comes. I start calling and it goes straight to the voicemail. I asked the lady in the car if she was waiting on someone inside. She told me no and she was waiting for someone at the tanning place which was weird because it was in the other plaza. I was about to leave and I noticed a light on. I stayed and continued to knock. At 7:20, 3 of the employees came out. One of the employee jumped into the van (the lady lied) and Quill rudely told me that she not "abided to give me my dog past 7:05". That's an odd cutoff time. I asked Quill why she didn't tell me this on phone. She repeating herself. The next morning when I picked up sassy, I spoke to Riley and I apologized about my mom. I gave her a card and small gift. I also told Riley her coworker didn't have to hold my dog hostage as payback. Riley asked if I wanted a call from management, I said yes. Still waiting on that call...

We fostered Willow, a Labradoodle, intending to find him a forever home, but we completely "failed" at fostering and fell in love with him. Willow's previous owner had invested in Bark Busters Gold Service training before we adopted him. As a disabled Veteran, Jim has found Willow to be an incredible mental health support, and we wanted to ensure we continued his training properly. A Guarantee That Truly Puts Dogs First: What truly sets Bark Busters apart is their remarkable Life of Dog Support Guarantee, which is transferable when a dog is re-homed! This transferable guarantee demonstrates Bark Busters' genuine commitment to the dogs they train, not just their clients. They understand dogs may change homes and built a system ensuring those dogs receive lifelong support. This is virtually unheard of in the dog training industry! Seamless Support: We contacted Bark Busters to learn about Willow's training, and they made the transfer process incredibly smooth. Their focus was clearly on Willow's wellbeing and ensuring continuity in his care. They taught us the Bark Busters method - natural dog communication using body language and voice control that Willow already understood. No treats, no harsh corrections, no complicated equipment. The Results: Thanks to their transferable guarantee and guidance, we've maintained Willow's excellent behavior and strengthened our bond tremendously. The relationship between Jim and Willow has flourished, making an incredible difference in Jim's daily life and wellbeing. Lifetime Peace of Mind: We can contact our certified trainer anytime new issues arise - for Willow's entire life.
