If you've ever tried grooming a dog that's over 130 pounds, you already know... that's not a light assignment but TJ handles Ozzy like a pro every single time. What really sets him apart is the de-shed. My dog's short-haired, so people think it's not that serious... but those little hairs get EVERYWHERE. Somehow TJ gets deep in there and pulls all that out like it's nothing. It makes a huge difference. I've been bringing Ozzy to TJ for years now, and he's never let us down. I originally left a review after my dog was returned to me with a skinned, actively bleeding nose and feces smeared down his legs and tail. What has happened since has only made the situation worse. After the incident, I repeatedly called and requested that the owner or manager contact me. It has now been two days, and despite multiple attempts to reach someone, I have received no phone call, no apology, and no meaningful effort to address what happened to my dog. What I did receive was a public response to my review containing information that does not accurately reflect my experience. Rather than taking responsibility, reaching out directly, or showing concern for an injured pet, the business appears more focused on defending itself online. What I find especially troubling is that the company's public response states that veterinary care was offered when I picked him up. That is simply not what happened. No veterinary care was offered at pickup. In fact, I was explicitly told that he did not need it. It was only later, after I called to follow up, that a receptionist mentioned I could take him to a veterinarian associated with their business. By that point, my confidence in the company's judgment and handling of the situation had already been shaken. I understand that accidents can happen when working with animals. What I cannot accept is the complete lack of accountability afterward. My dog was returned to me actively bleeding despite being described as "fine," and he was also returned with feces on his hindquarters. These are not opinions--they are facts that I personally witnessed. The true measure of a business is not whether mistakes happen, but how those mistakes are handled. In my case, there has been no meaningful follow-up, no attempt to make things right, and no willingness to engage in an honest conversation about what occurred. Pet owners should be aware that if something goes wrong, they may be left to deal with the aftermath on their own. read more

First time using this groomer as I recently moved. Dropped off my dog Kobe and mochi. Kobe was okay but mochi was injured. A chunk of mochis tongue got cut and skin red/irritated as hell from shaving! (Check pics) Didn't catch the groomers name but before I gave my pups she did say that she was the only groomer available and running behind and asked if it was okay if it takes longer. I said no worries. Mentioned to the groomer my dog mochi can be a little bit of work when it comes to strangers. Usually I get a call from her previous groomer if they are not able to work with her or if there are any issues. No updates no call. I called around 4:40pm to ask when they would be ready for pick as I dropped them off at 1 for their appointment. Didn't mention anything then! Had my brother pick them up around 5, they had him pay as soon as he walked in, had him wait for 10-15 minutes (assuming they were trying to stop the bleeding before bringing her out) without telling what happened then brought them out. All they could say was "sorry" and that the bleeding would stop. My dog was shaking, bleeding. Took them home, she couldn't stop whining and the bleeding would not stop. If they were having issues with grooming her, the least they could do was CALL and notify me. I'd rather have a botch and unfinished job than a hefty vet bill and my baby hurt. It pissed me off that they waited for us to pay for them to tell us anything. Went to VEG (ER at Boca park) and they couldn't believe what happened. Yes I know accidents happened but the fact that they didn't even notify me of any issues is absurd. She was literally in so much pain she kept whining and panting before we took her to the vet for pain meds. You guys had every opportunity to let us know before picking up our dogs and asking for payment. Again. I would rather have an unfinished patchy job than my baby hurt. We're on day two my mochi is still hurting and have to be on antibiotics and pain meds. Thanks a lot guys! read more

I highly don't recommend taking your fur babies to Barks and Bubbles. I called ahead before booking because I specifically wanted groomers who were experienced with Mini Schnauzer cuts. I was told they specialized in the breed, and after reading the positive reviews, I felt confident bringing both my 4-year-old Mini Schnauzer and my 15-week-old puppy. I clearly requested a traditional Schnauzer cut with a skirt for my adult dog. Unfortunately, when he was finished, the skirt was completely gone and he was trimmed much shorter than I asked for. He looked nothing like the Schnauzer cut I requested. As for my puppy, I was told only limited grooming could be done because of his age, However, aside from some trimming around his paws and rear, he came back looking like one big furball. Despite very little being done, I was charged full price. I also spoke to Goldie, the owner, and she had excuse after excuse for why Autumn couldn't give my puppy the proper grooming. If that was the case, they should have told me before I brought him in. I'm still confused as to why I paid full price for only a fraction of the service. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication afterward. When I called with questions and concerns, I was essentially told, "that's what it is," and brushed off instead of having my concerns addressed. I believe in paying for quality service and understand that good grooming isn't cheap. However, in this case, I did not receive the breed-specific grooming I was promised, nor the customer service I expected. I don't appreciate the way I was brushed off, and I left very disappointed. read more

When I arrived to pick up my dog, I paid for the service and was then informed that he had rubbed his nose on the kennel due to anxiety. I was told he was fine and had been cleaned up. However, when my dog was brought out to me, his nose was visibly skinned and actively bleeding. After leaving the building and taking him outside to load into my car, I noticed that he also had feces smeared down his legs and tail. I immediately brought him back inside to show the staff. Rather than my dog being properly cleaned before being returned to me, someone simply grabbed baby wipes to address the situation at that point. I understand that accidents can happen, especially when animals are stressed. What I cannot understand is why my dog was returned to me while actively bleeding and covered in feces after I had paid for professional grooming services. The injury itself was upsetting, but the lack of attention to his condition before handing him back was even more concerning. As pet owners, we trust groomers to care for our animals and to communicate honestly about any issues that arise. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my dog's well-being was not given the level of care and attention it deserved. Based on this experience, I would not return and cannot recommend this facility to other pet owners. read more

had a very disappointing experience at Barks & Bubbles Dog Grooming. From the moment I walked in, the service felt rushed and unprofessional. The staff didn't seem very attentive or interested in listening to my instructions for my dog's grooming. When I picked up my dog, I was honestly shocked. The haircut was uneven, and it looked nothing like what I had requested. Although the manager did step in and attempt to rectify the situation, the experience took a turn for the worse afterward. The groomer went out of his way to text me directly on my personal cell which I never gave him authorization to have my personal number I gave it to the business for pick up and drop off only. which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. I also felt that the pricing didn't match the quality of service provided. For what I paid, I expected much better care and attention to detail. I was nervous but Erica did great, and listened to my requests, and even asked to see a picture of my preferred groom and trim for my pup. Today I had my dog Miller groomed by Shawna (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she did a wonderful job! I wanted to try something a little different for him for the summer which is going for a shorter length of fur on his entire body and she knew exactly what to do. Not only did he come out looking cute, he still has enough fur to cover his skin from that hot sun. They did raise their price up by like $5.00 but they at least give you a heads up when booking an appointment! I haven't felt the price being too expensive since Miller has been coming out looking fantastic each time we have gone and so it has been worth the price. Thank you again Shawna! read more
