The last three times I've come in, my total has increased without any notice beforehand. Prices have nearly doubled since I first started coming, and at no point was I told in advance what the updated cost would be. It puts customers in an uncomfortable position at checkout and doesn't feel transparent or respectful. A quick heads-up before starting the service would make a big difference. Our dog looked great when we picked him up, no complaints. The first oddity about the visit, they only accept cash. The second oddity is that they do not keep any cash on hand to make change when you pay. So if you just have $20 bills, and the service is just over $40, you end up tipping MORE than you usually would just so you can get on with your day.

I was hesitant because my fluffy cat hadn't been to a groomer in years ( they closed) and my short hair kitty had never been to a groomer at all. I let the groomer know this and let them know that the short hair kitty doesn't like his hands being touched, so I wasn't sure if he would get his nails trimmed. Not sure if I needed to be there or not in case a blood bath would happen They reassured me that Angel is great with cats and that he would be fine. I got there about 7:50am and Angel let me go in early with the furkids. The place was nice and clean and no vibes! I dropped them off and Angel told me it would take about 3 hrs and he'll call me when they were done. I waited out front in the car with my Mom. When they were ready, they called and I went inside to pick them up. They looked fantastic and smelled so good. They were calm, no look of discomfort or panic, so hopefully things went well. Even after a week of being home, they still smelled great and the short haired baby smelled good a week after that. They also both had matching bandanas which was adorable! We'll go to this place again and hope they make a closer location.

The problem is they don't have any cages in the grooming area. And if you bring 2 dogs in together then it $50 before you do anything!! You don't have a choice to do cageless or caged. One of the great things about Dirty Dogs is that it is cage free. So find another way to increase prices more legitimately, and until then I will have to think twice about coming in again or as often. A friend of mine said that he cut back on the amount that he tips to make up for this charge. That's not fair to the groomers. But it's his way of letting you know that he doesn't approve of this frivolous fee either.

I usually do self wash for my Lab mix. I appreciate the aprons, the warm water, all the shampoo and brushes, the cotton balls for the ears. Most of the people who work here are super nice and clearly love dogs and are always willing to help. I usually cook my dog's food but sometimes I'll buy their raw food to add to his food. I also love the natural products they have and good treats. You can tell that they are pushing clean products. Recently, we got a 3 year old maltipoo. She's tiny only 11 pounds. Her disposition is skittish, and honestly groomers are NOT dog trainers. They can only do so much. The several times I've brought her in, they've tried very hard to groom her. She's just not comfortable with anything. But she still comes out great every time. With that being said, I want to do a shout out to Klarissa who groomed the maltipoo and Lab mix with ease, that when maltipoo came back she was actually fine, even though I knew she gave her problems being still. She even included the paw pad shave even though I chose three for the package. I'm very happy with the service and glad she was able to cut her nails short which is tough to do since her nails are black. No scars or marks. Proof in pics and definitely not AI. Also shoutout to Lauren who was great to chat with and treated both dogs with love. Yes it is pricey. As anything is when it's a service. But considering where it's located, what did you expect?
