I called and was able to get an grooming appointment for my boo, Milo within the week which was great. Most places have a longer scheduling period. My appointment was at 9AM and we were the first one to get service. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Their facility was very clean and animal friendly. Of course, my sweet Milo cried and didn't want to stay and I was concerned he would be difficult during his grooming. I was asked how I wanted his cut and informed them. I was told to return within 2 to 3 hours. Honestly, I was a bit anxious as a fairly new pet owner leaving my young dog. LOL I returned 3 hours later and my sweet Milo was chilling in the crate looking dapper and fine. I saw the groomer taking care of another dog and she was very patient and attentive. The groomer stated Milo was a "good" boy and just nervous during the grooming session, whew. This was one of the best grooming's he's had and very affordable. I will definitely bring Milo back for some TLC.

I've always been super impressed with their helpful customer service, super niche inventory, and how organized everything is in the store. It's certainly not like the chain'y mega stores but it is quaint and clean. They have a good number of things: pet food, pet toys and everything in between it all. Most of the stuff is geared toward cats and dogs, but they surely have the supplies for folks bringing up a ::insert animal:: into their home. Another bonus? It actually smells good in here. (#1) As is the deal with most stores with premium goods, their stuff can get expensive. While most everything can probably found online for cheaper, it's the best option for being able to get something in person without the wait for shipping. For those not able to make to the store, they also deliver for a fee. Moreover, we had a couple of horrible grooming experiences that left him traumatized. When I contacted K9 to book an appointment I was told there was a wait because everything was booked out. I didn't mind waiting since I realized its because they are good. Melinda was in touch with me and let me know the soonest availability. She asked for my dog's medical records and I submitted all of that right away. She was very understanding and patient. From the first time contacting her I realized that she had a big heart and I was not wrong!! When I picked up my dog after the grooming he was happy and playful -whaaat?! Usually I am ready for him being upset and devastated, but not after K9! Also Melinda was such a sweetheart to be updating me on their progress during the grooming. My visits to Petco were a waste of time- as everything they had was a small selection and overpriced. I was pleasantly surprised at how wide a selection K9 has. And how big the store is! As stated before- I expected only fancy dog food, but they carry everything. I was easily able to find a bag of good dog food that didn't break the bank. And just like that- they've got my business! In addition to finding exactly what I needed- I was very happy at the dog treat pricing. Spoiling my dogs always felt like a once in a while thing- but K9 has definitely changed that. Been my spot since they opened, we pickup/drop off, in and out since parking so hard. first year…read morethey were great, past few visits.... Ehhh... Been sloppy.... We're simple and not high maintenance people... Prices also went up this past few visits, from $115 to $140/$160, dog is 30-35lbs, and we go every 6-8 weeks... 1- our dogs been cut on his pee shaft twice, straight line with the clippers, first time we let it go, healed on its own... second time we mentioned it, dog ended up getting a yucky infection. accidents happen, that's cool. Some ointment from Vet and dog was good to go, little annoying/time consuming at first, finding a Vet then driving out there etc... and we had to try and deal with their insurance company at first. they ended up covering the vet bill with a store credit. 2- Handful of times, nails were not trimmed/clipped. fine, so we specifically mentioned to cut nails on next trip... maybe a paw or two hair wasn't cut like the others, ok, it'll grow back.... No big deal, not end of world. Little annoying 3- last recent trip, dog was shaking head and scratching, assumed it was just irritation/bother since they usually do ear cleaning/trim ear hair, when I finally checked, probably 6 days later, his right ear was nasty, not cleane/red, stunk and infected. Sent them the pics and asked if ear hygiene is part of the full package, they didn't recall... and said, they would cover an ear cleaning elsewhere but no longer able to service our dog going forward. Sure, okay! Dog diet, snacks and environment no changes.... All good, I guess they have enough clients now... we are moving on, lesson learned going fwd- don't rush out and check your dog before leaving the establishment! In search of a new groomer now
