Missy poses for a photo after being groomed.

I brought my girl, my Yorkiepoo Missy, to The New York Puppy Club for grooming, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care she received. Jina took such great care of her--she listened to all of my concerns and followed my requests exactly. Missy came out looking absolutely adorable! She was even wearing the cutest little pink tulle ruffle collar with pom-poms around her neck--it added such a sweet and stylish touch. It was clear that Jina and the team really care about the pets they groom and go the extra mile to make them feel (and look) special. Thank you, Jina, for making Missy look like a little princess. We'll definitely be coming back!

Nice big place. The reviews were so positive, we gave it a try. The groomer, Josie was lovely. My pup was there a few hours and I picked her up all happy& groomed BUT when we got home, i saw blood on her bow and looked at her paws. One nail was knicked and I felt awful! I know it can happen but surely it was noticed? No one mentioned it to me. Pretty good chance we'll be back but I will ask them to be extra careful with my fur baby. Her hair looked great, clean. i did like the cut and she did smell good.

I've been taking my cat here for a couple of years now to get groomed. I forgot the name of the lady that grooms my cat, but she does an excellent job.

I am so happy that I was able to bring my 4 month old puppy here for a haircut and they did exactly what I asked ! I love how they have fur samples to see how short you would like to cut your dogs fur. And everyone was so friendly ! We were set up with the groomer Haemi and she was the sweetest person ever! Loved our little tofu as if he was hers! The total was around $60 for our puppy. They also took a cute Polaroid photo of him for us ! Highly recommend coming here if you are nervous about other groomers. This place treats them perfectly. Not to mention that they also have a huge selection on pet supplies here as well!

Only bring my babies Rocky and Somi here for grooming especially now that I hear so many horror stories about other groomers killing dogs while grooming

We love taking Archie to the groomers here. I highly strongly recommend Kris she is amazing. She is truly so caring and careful. She is so detail oriented you will not be disappointed. I went to someone else before and she cut him on his private part and paws. I never went back but after I went to Kris I couldn't be happier we told her his sensitive parts and she is so careful. Archie loves her and gets so excited to see her always. I also love how well stocked they are in his dog food- Fromm from wet to dry food. Plus their specialized cakes, frozen yogurt and all kinds of treats. Thank you Puppy Club for being essential here in queens!

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with your store and groomer Sori, I have been using for my puppy Kodi. I always ask for Sori and I am so happy with her. She always takes very good care of my puppy. I like using the same groomer because it gets my puppy use to one person and I just love the way she does my puppy's haircut.

Still coming to NY Puppy Club and can't express how thankful I am that I found this gem. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. The transformation that Lydia the groomer does for my pup Nala is amazing. Even if I move far, I will still come here to have my doggy groomed. Great experience overall.

My family brought home an adorable little puppy last year and after getting a few first baby hair cuts at home, we decided it was time for a proper first grooming. The dog came out of the grooming station freshly cleaned and shaved although his fur smelled a bit like menthol which went away in 3-4 days. The coat of fur was so soft like it was brushed out vigorously, with no signs of matting. In addition to grooming, NY Puppy Club also does dog boarding (hotel), day care, and is a dog supply store (food, treats, leashes, toys). Many of my friends who are dog owners also bring their dogs here and they come out looking perfectly trimmed. Before trimming, there is a hair length guide of 1-5 (5 being the longest). There are multiple dogs in the store and truthfully, some of them look the same. You are required to bring proof of vaccinations before any services are rendered.

Thank you Su! This was Moose's first time grooming NY Puppy club is amazing! Support your local pet store and come here for all your fur any needs. Su is Moose's groomer and was great from start to finish. After checking in Su came over to speak with us to find out the type of haircut we wanted for Moose. She gave us some tips and feedback as to what would look neat based on her experience as well as the type of dog Moose is. The final look was SOOOO cute!!! We will definitely be back for grooming and for purchasing food/toys/treats/ etc. they have a a lot of inventory I would say anything your looking for you can probably find. Thank you Su and NY Puppy club for making this experience so easy and carefree !

Thank you Jenny! First grooming experience at Ny puppy club. Jenny did a great job this and although it will take time for Devon to open up and get more comfortable, I trust her to take good care and patience with him. Can't wait to be back. Thank you!! He is looking very cute and smelling wonderful!!!

I'm so happy to have found this place! You will not be disappointed. This is probably the best place in queens to bring your dog for a full service (haircuts are on point). My go to person is Sori she always does an amazing job on Perla. She really listens and takes notes as to what you want done for your dog. I always ask for the teddy bear cut and Perla has walked out every time looking just as such. Most importantly, Perla is comfortable with Sori I've noticed a change. On her first visit, Sori let out her hand for Perla to smell it was in that moment that I knew I left her in good hands. After every visit, Sori would let me know how she did and give me advise on things. I truly appreciate her and this place. THANK YOU NY PUPPY CLUB !!

I have a 5 month old Goldendoodle puppy, whom I took to NY Puppy Club for a first time groom. I went in and requested for a trim, just because it was getting too shaggy and he was getting too hot. $75 for full service groom which includes: nails, ear cleaning, wash, dry and cut. Although he looked like a whole new pup, I was genuinely impressed by how straight and perfect the cut was! Definitely my new go-to grooming spot for my pup.

I was helped by KK, who went above and beyond on providing excellent customer service to me and my Pomeranian, Bubbles. She texted me of the results despite it was their near closing time at 7pm, and if I was dissatisfied of the cut they would adjust. No other grooming salons would do that especially near their closing time. KK was very kind and communicated well throughout the whole process and even took the opportunity to assess my dog's skin condition and educated on a healthy diet for my dog's overall health outcome. My dog can get VERY aggressive when grooming towards us but Jaylin, Pet Home's groomer, was very professional and skillful! She delivered great results despite this obstacle. Pet Home worked as a team to calm my dog during the grooming process, which I was never made aware during all these years of grooming elsewhere. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for their professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and each member's above and beyond customer service. I really felt how genuine they cared for each customer's dogs. They even have a porch with food and water in front of their door for stray animals. This really reflects how much they genuinely care about animals. Bubbles a DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

She has razor burn so severe that we had to put a cone on her to prevent her from constantly licking herself. What became very worrying was that she has not eaten much, drank very little, and has not peeped or pooped, and just lies there at home for the past 24 hours, refusing to move. We tried speaking to the manager, Daniel, when we bumped into him at the vet, and he said "1 sec" and never got back to us. Eli (business owner) followed up while our dog was getting a x-ray to explain to us that they didn't do anything wrong and that they are not liable to pay for our dog's care, even though we never indicated in any way that we wanted them to. No matter what, a dog who has never had any issues with grooming, should not be in this state after a sanitary trim. And no mater what, someone should have communicated to us what had happened. After what has occurred and the way the whole situation was handled, we no longer feel safe or OK leaving our dog here. Longer version with more details below. ---- I am as level headed as they come. Feel free to look at my profile, all my reviews are only 4 and 5s (And have been leaving reviews on Yelp for over a decade), and don't believe in leaving negative reviews, as I don't like the idea of negatively affecting someone's business. I've decided to break my rule, because there are some clear issues with Dog and Bone's grooming services. Our dog gets monthly grooming, and has never had a single issue. We decided to give this D&G a try rather than our usual spot, because our initial first impression was so positive, and wanted to give them more business. But after leaving our usual instructions that we've given to every other groomer, when we received our dog, she could not stop licking her vulva. We would walk a few steps and she would start licking herself. Until finally she refused to walk anymore and I had to carry her the rest of the way home. At first I thought she was just not comfortable with the sanitary trim (which also has never happened before), but when I got home and wiped her down in that area there was BLOOD. My belief is that she was nicked and has red bumps, which looks like razor burn. I am unsure, because no one has bothered to communicate to us that anything happened. It was terrifying not knowing what had happened and needing to guess. Not only did the groomer not follow our directions, but our dog was hurt, and still not herself. Following our arrival home, for 24 hours she has refused to eat, drink much water, and keeps on trying to nip/lick herself, and refuses to move. We sent Daniel two emails documenting everything with pictures, videos, etc. We took our dog to an Instavet next door (same owner) and she continued to not eat or poop, and bumped into Daniel when we tried to speak to him he told said us 1 minute and never bothered to return. While our dog was getting an x-ray Eli (business owner) called us and awkwardly tried to suggest that the issue did not occur at day care or grooming, and was trying absolve himself of any wrong doing, which we did not understand, until he got to his point about not being obligated to pay for our dog's vet bill. We are deeply worried about our pet's well being, and to call us while our dog is at his vet to try and absolve themselves of any wrong doing made us so angry, due to his cold and uncaring tone. Holy crap, I could not believe what I was hearing. All we carried about was the well being of our dog, and the call just made us feel worse. We have sent our dog to dog and bone club multiple times a week for the past month. They have completely lost our trust. Accident can happen, I can be understanding of that. But the severity, not communicating, trying to tell us that they're not liable to pay for our dog's vet bill, when we made no indication that we wanted them to pay in any shape or form, is not acceptable. Collectively, my wife and I have spent 13 hours at the two vets this weekend, and nearly ~$800 dollars thus far in trying to diagnose and address an issue that happened on their watch, on top of a $50 sanitary trim. Stay away, don't risk it. There are plenty of other places to go to in LIC. I will leave things off with a positive in that Sarah at the front desk is kind and super nice.

He also loved to pull and drag me or whoever walked him around. I had already trained him with potty training, but was concerned that his behavior kept getting worse. My neighbor also has a German Shepherd and her dog is insane. She can barely control him and he's also super aggressive. My fear was that Ollie would wind up like that and that I'd have to give him up because I wouldn't be able to control him). After reading a lot of reviews, I contacted Abcs of Dog Training, and spoke to Michael. I was interested in the three week training. Michael was very clear and honest from the start. Seemed to know what he was doing. He agreed to come pick up Ollie. While away, Michael sent me updates. He taught him commands and socialized Ollie. Now when I take him for walks, Ollie never barks at anyone, not even at other dogs. The only time when he barks is when we are inside the home and there's someone approaching the door from the outside. He walks great on the leash, and listens to me. You have to keep on practicing the commands (heel, sit, leave it, lay down, stay, drop it, measure walk, and a few more). I'm extremely grateful for Michael and his training. Training was a bit expensive but so worth it. Michael also offers the two week follow up and is there for any questions you may have before and after the process.

Over the years, I've tried a few other places, particularly when Jay's shop was closed for renovations, but I always end up returning to Jay because of his consistent quality. My twins are miniature schnauzers, and they can be quite whiny and yappy with their high-pitched voices, but Jay has always handled them with love and care. Even if I'm a few weeks late in bringing them in, leading to some matting, Jay never makes me feel like a bad dog mom. Jay was the one who suggested I get my oldest dog's eye checked out because he noticed something concerning. He was right, and it turned out to be an autoimmune disease. I'm very thankful for his keen eye; my dog lived a long, good life, passing at 15. Today, I had my twins groomed. Jay noticed a bump under my girl twin's arm and immediately informed me, reassuring me not to worry but to have it checked by the vet. He mentioned that it might just be due to age. Jay has always been exceptionally kind to my dogs, consistently excellent with grooming, quick, and easy to book appointments with. He's a wonderful person to work with, and I'm so grateful to have him in my neighborhood. My pups are well-groomed every 6-8 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with his services. Thank you, Jay, for your hard work and dedication. Grooming is no easy task--I know because I tried during the pandemic--so we truly appreciate you! We will forever be your loyal customers.
