Between taking care of my grandma, my mom, and a new puppy, I was overwhelmed. I started sending Oliver to Lake Country Dog to give him some attention and to give me a bit of a break while I tended to the other people in my life. He loves going to "school" so much, that I can't say that word in front of him without him getting excited. I know that when he's there, he is loved and well cared for. My mom has been out of treatment for a year, and my grandmother passed away last August, so I don't have a need to send Oliver to Lake Country Dog for daycare. But he loves it so much, that I still send him once a week!! Natasha also grooms him, and always does a great job. One time, he even fell asleep while being groomed. I highly recommend Lake Country Dog.

I had my dog get groomed yesterday. She suggested I hire a private groomer for his next haircut; however, psp is a private company (public being run by the government) that offers grooming services. I have no problem taking my business back to PetSmart next time as we have had zero issues with my dog with their groomers. I would be worth while for management to investigate the number of complaints that come from this groom and consider if the way she treats the animals that incites stress in the dogs. I will not be conducting any future business with this location.

Stuff happens, messages get lost, so I decided to walk in and did not get a warm reception at all. I'm assuming it was the owner in the middle of grooming and she asked what she could do for me in what seems to be a clearly irritated tone. I explained I had left two messages and hadn't heard back (to which you would think you might get an apology or explanation but got nothing except a further irritated expression.). I asked pricing, availability and how best to schedule appointments. She answered $75, which is around double nearly anyone else I've ever talked to or gone to. I asked if she does much grooming on many doodles (as I have had several groomers 'poodle' my doodle, which is why I am so particular about groomers and will pay more for one who knows the true 'doodle' cut .) I think she actually rolled her eyes and said yes, she has been doing lots of mixed breeds for years. The demeanor, way she answered and less than warm first impression turned me off very much. We are new to town and have owned small businesses in small towns and word of mouth can be your best friend or your worst enemy, and while we all have off days I was less than impressed from this interaction...especially compared to all the other local businesses we have been fortunate enough to interact with who are warm, friendly and eager to help. Also, we choose to give our business to companies who adapt to changing times and busy lives. I go to a groomer because I am too busy to groom my own dogs, work full time and can not call during business hours during the work week to schedule appointments. We look for businesses that have scheduling online or even via email or Facebook. This business does not nor did they return a call from my two phone calls and messages I left. Needless to say, we will NOT be bringing our dogs there nor recommending this business based on this.

Care is taken to find out just what you are wanting done at drop off so there are no surprises. Dogs are happy and squeaky clean when you pick them up. And prices are low for grooming and nail trims compared to the big name stores. It is so nice to have the Silver Leash and worth the half hour drive for me to have my guys groomed so well. Plus there are fun dog treats and chewies and toys in the shop for a post grooming treat.

She was returned to us around11:00 with profuse…read morebleeding from the mouth. the owner handed her leash off to the receptionist from behind a door and would not show her face. We drove her right to the vet and it was discovered that she had a 5 mm and a 7mm laceration in her tongue and lip, as well as a broken canine tooth. Vet kept her and sedated her to stitch both lacerations. Owner downright refused to take responsibility even though the dog was in her care and blamed the dog. It has since cost us well over $2,000 inluding the charge for the groom that she never completed and charged us $100 for. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS THERE!

I was aghast when I was rudely told off in response to my polite request. Stacy did apologize when I picked my dog up, but I was still quite put off and will not be visiting again.
