Prices are high--even for incomplete items--and there's a serious lack of transparency. I recently looked at a used LEGO set marked "mostly complete." Priced at 25$. When I asked for details, I was told someone counted the pieces, but they refused to share how many were counted or what was actually included. Instead, I got a dismissive comment by the manager about how it sells for more on eBay?? If someone actually counted the pieces, why not be honest and mention it in the description? Is it 100 pieces missing or just 10-20? That's a big difference, and buyers deserve clarity if I'm going to spend 25$ on it. Worse, when I asked questions, the staff were rude and defensive, showing no interest in helping or being honest. It's disappointing and frustrating to be treated that way--especially by a place that claims to serve the community. I'm done. After years of supporting this store, I won't be going back. I won't support rude people who don't care about the community or the customers who make their work possible. I'm starting to question whether this is truly a non-profit store anymore. I just snagged two shirts today for $10 for the two. One was a Eileen Fisher. I picked up another lovely 100 percent linen shirt with a designer label for $5 bucks a couple of weeks ago - retails for around $200. I don't wear conservative - these were nice basic shirts and in style. The ladies have always been nice to me. And if you think a small charity shop, such as this, takes credit cards, which charge swipe fees for each transaction which for little business like this one would be prohibitive, guess again. So warp back into reality and bring cash. The place is small but if you hit it right, you can get some good stuff and it is for a good cause.

I immediately went to the charm bar and was so happy to see the prices were affordable. For the necklace it was $20 and each charm costing $5. For an additional $5 you could have a staff member assemble your necklace which I opted for. Sam was super helpful with suggesting how to spread out the charms to make sure they looked good. I am super happy with how it turned out. I will have to be back to see more of their clothing options because they had a good variety! Definitely give them a visit.

One of my friends was interested in this event, so I got to look at the clothing while we waited. They have some very nice jeans that were in the $30-$70 range. It seemed like a contrasting mix of cool finds but also older style clothing that could have come from a TJ Maxx. They had jackets that looked like ones my parents had worn years ago and now keep in the back of a closet. Overall, there was a nice selection but personally I thought the quality was variable, and most items seemed overpriced for how they looked.

Parking can be found on the street; we were able to snatch a spot easily on a Sunday afternoon. They have a spectacular selection of great quality clothing. They've got separate rooms, where they showcase statement pieces. I really enjoyed the room that has the brand "MICH"... the designs of this clothing line definitely caught my eye. I did some digging & discovered that the MICH brand is Boston's very own, how cool! BEAUTIFULLY CURATED.
