I love this place. A neighborhood gem. I love what they do for the community, with proceeds going to the food pantry

The super high end bags are in the front behind glass and the midrange bags are dispersed through the store on shelves above the clothing. I really enjoyed browsing here but didn't see anything quite worth buying. I contemplated a Kate Spade makeup bag but the price seemed about the same price as a similar item I saw on sale new at the Wrentham Outlet location several years ago. Hmmm. Loved the music and the way they organized the bags. I'm not much into thrift store clothes so didn't really look much and the clothes but this is worth a stop in for the bags. Very poor customer service- no one greeted me, no one engaged with me in any way and even when I was checking out their flyers and info on selling, I was completely ignored. Staff here seem to hate life and everyone in the store. At least Buffalo Exchange employees greet you when you walk in. I suppose come here if you are looking for more high end items.

The employees I engaged with during my shopping experience were pleasant to interact with. The store has a wide variety of clothing, shoes and accessories both contemporary and vintage and the prices were reasonable and competitive with its nearby competitors. I would note though that parking in Brookline is treacherous to say the least. So I would recommend going early to any business in Coolidge Corner. I also noticed that during my visit the store was particularly warm even with a AC on. I realize some of the building's in Brookline have existed for many years and things like HVAC or probably a nightmare to upgrade. I think incorporating some industrial fans towards a front of the store could help alleviate this issue and make the shopping experience in the summer months more pleasant.

A ton of people in and out buying selling and thrifting. There were brands from carhartt, TNF, arteryx, Patagonia, Nike, new balance, adidas, vans, timberland and more. Managed to cop a 40th anniversary NB1500 pair made in UK. Prices seemed fair and deals to be had. Has fitting room, also where you can have stuff held) and sneakers are 1 shoe on the floor, other shoe behind register. Cool shop better than many others we've been to recently.

We walked into a space that covers clothing, furniture, lamps, jewelry, vintage tech including audio equipment and cameras, and housewares. The range across those categories is genuinely broad for a store of this size. The clothing leans toward well preserved vintage pieces rather than the more chaotic mixed inventory we have seen at larger thrift chains, and the curation reflects real attention to what ends up on the floor. Jewelry is priced affordably, and the watches come with resizing and battery replacement available, a small service detail that makes the secondhand watch section more accessible than it would otherwise be. Furniture and lamps are all for sale alongside the clothing, which gives the store a layered quality that rewards slower browsing. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and condition of what is on offer, particularly given the Harvard Square location where most retail runs at a premium. For vintage shopping in Cambridge, Retrospect is the kind of place that rewards repeat visits as the inventory turns over consistently enough that something new surfaces each time.

It is a neat shop w plenty of parking. Prices I saw started at 50.00 for an Italian sweater, but that price did not repeat. Upward to $700+ . Merchandise was a mix of shoes, clothing, purses, handbags other leather goods and accessories. This shopper thought prices were a tad high for posh designer brands. I would come back again. This store is furthest down from my walk. The first time I went in this store in workout clothes I didn't have the best experience, lol. The second time I went in dressed in designer pieces it was a pleasant experience, lol. The store was well kept and had nice things in both experiences. The clothing and purses I saw looked new or in mint condition. I am a year in the consignment game . New world for me , I am a regular in another consignment shop in the area for about a year . I just developed a relationship with them . Due to the fact they treated me well with workout clothes the first time, I went in . However if I ever see anything in this store I like enough . I definitely will buy it . Due to the fact I was treated well the second time , lol. I assume the first time was a misunderstanding on their end . I love their window displays it always looks so well put together. I will try not to come in to shop in workout clothes, lol. Like I said I am new to the consignment game a year in . I didn't know they judged so much on personal appearance. However now I know and will be more cautious, when entering places that sell designer things in my neighborhood, lol. However upon reading the other reviews below ; on how they do business practices ( read the one star reviews below ). This place seems like it does dishonest business practices based on the reviews of other consigners . Yikes !!
