This stadium used to have a plastic pitch until they were outlawed, which is funny and topical because Barbie is plastic and says that plastic is always better. That kind of plastic is illegal everywhere other than Brazil though, but back to football. First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - When I was a kid, I came to watch my hometown Oxford play here. It was a hard plastic pitch and it was fun, even though we lost. Then in the 00s, I came here again. It was much better, with actual real grass and Luton were more impressive. The stadium has been worked on and is much better than it was. For that reason I give it a 4 when it would have only scored a 3 in the old plastic days. The last time I was here was in 2014, and I plan to come back and watch a 3rd game here in 2016 if I have time, with all the other games I'll be seeing! I've been to most UK & US stadiums, due to lifelong obsessions with travel, sport & especially footy (soccer to Americans). Born & raised in England, I followed Oxford United (hometown team) to stadia all over the country at away games, and later Liverpool (fave team) around. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are from first-hand personal experience, usually from several visits. It's nice that it's right in the middle of housing areas and all enclosed though, and for it's sexy plastic history I'll bump it up to a 4.

The rooms have fridges water for tea and all the tea fixings. I am obsessed with the toiletry brand they have here, molton brown. Breakfast was spectacular, even the buffet items. The pool is shared with the spa and family access is limited and only during certain times a day. We got an hour access from 9-10 but my daughter was disappointed that no other children were at the pool at the same time. The beds including a roll away were very comfortable, the bedding and towels were soft and wonderful. The blackout curtains were on point and the AC was effective and silent. The only criticism I have is the in room safe barely fit my engineering laptop and the safe was placed very high, well above my head anyhow. I was witness to a rude American complaining at the desk and the gal handled it with grace.

Somehow due to daylight savings, it got messed up and the Bus arrived 1 hr late... not a pleasant experience. The airport is not that huge, and it's easy to navigate. We got our luggage in no time (it was like 1 AM, so ofcourse no rush was there) and we were the only ones there. ofcourse it's too far from central London and they have Luton Airport Express. to reach LTN - simply hop on a train at St Pancras International to arrive at Luton Airport Parkway, and then take a DART Shuttle to the terminal, all in as little as 32 minutes. It's a fast and seamless way to get to the departure gate. easy check-in, security was quick and hassle-free... lots of shops to browse (or buy) or restaurants to eat... standard Starbucks, Costa, Burger King, MS Simply food. and ofcourse it's cheaper ;)
