Thursday was a bright sunny day and the sun beams shone thru the windows to highlight the comic and toy goodness. New comics come in weekly and they have a nice back stock selection. John and crew make this shop accessible to all ages. They have their layout dialed in, their social media dialed in, their special events dialed in and exciting and their books and pricing dialed in so all collectors can enjoy. New books weekly with some cool Facebook intros. A stellar shop cat, Winston, who actually runs things. ( it's a his shop and he actually let's us all enjoy it.) Their back issues are on sale, they have some neat manga titles and families will like the kid's area. They have supplies and probably the largest dual wall of Graphic Novels in Northeast Ohio. The owner Eric is a pillar of the community, consistently throwing events for kids and all kinds of fun things. I think the coolest part about walking into B & L is that it is a time capsule that represents every comic shop I ever went to as a kid and young adult. This is a good thing. Larry is such a nice guy and he knows comics and has a great selection of wall books and back issues. He also gets new books on Wednesdays. The shop has comic supplies along with some great sports cards and non-sport cards. He carries other great collectibles and even some candy which I can't say no to...ever! Larry and B & L will have Free Comics tomorrow for Free Comic Book Day. Stop in and say hi!!! I stopped and saw Brian for the first time. Great location in West Akron. West Akron has needed a friendly-neighborhood comic and gale shop for a long time. Everything is well-displayed and well lit. New comics weekly, back issues and supplies. Back issues plus card games, table top and other games. I saw a plethora of graphic novels plus some premium wall books. They have a large gaming area and posted gaming nights. Check out the photos for statues and pops. Over all a great looking , nicely organized shop. Stop in and support them!
