You can find new comics weekly, a sneaky good selection of back issues( always ask Brian he has the books nestled away) and some cool toys. The graphic novel selection is strong and i know he always throws a great party for Free Comic Book Day. When I was there we engaged in lively banter around the best new movies and TV shows. I love stopping into a shop that is definitely Chaotic Neutral. Maybe Chaotic Good. Or visa-versa. This shop is showcased / packed with Gaming, Gaming, Gaming. If you look up gaming in the dictionary, there's gonna be a picture of this shop They have gaming supplies, all sorts of card games, all sorts of singles, all sorts of table top games, dice and a great place in the back of the store to sit down and play whatever you desire. Markus also has what I believe is the only display of Sideshow collectible statues In Cleveland. If you like the stuff, be sure to break out your wallet they are not cheap. All along the tops of all the shelves are additional statues and other toys and collectibles. Be sure to look up. They carry, as I said, gaming supplies, and Comic supplies. They also have new comics on Wednesdays and Comics displayed around the store. A huge selection of graphic novels are along the wall on the right hand side. Markus has a lot of marquee or dioramas set up, and I love his Beholder, the huge G.I. Joe aircraft carrier and of course the Star Wars robot in the back. Only pictures can do this store justice. Carol and John's Comic Book Shop…read more I don't think anyone would argue that this shop is a prime example of everyone's favorite friendly-neighborhood comic shop. John and crew make this shop accessible to all ages. They have their layout dialed in, their social media dialed in, their special events dialed in and exciting and their books and pricing dialed in so all collectors can enjoy. New books weekly with some cool Facebook intros. A stellar shop cat, Winston, who actually runs things. ( it's a his shop and he actually let's us all enjoy it.) Their back issues are on sale, they have some neat manga titles and families will like the kid's area. They have supplies and probably the largest dual wall of Graphic Novels in Northeast Ohio. Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

Thursday was a bright sunny day and the sun beams shone thru the windows to highlight the comic and toy goodness. New comics come in weekly and they have a nice back stock selection. They also have prints, t-shirts and models. Check out their Funkos and models. Recently they have had some pop culture guests like Lou Ferigno, some Power Rangers and some voice actors. I called Comic Heaven before making the drive and asked how much a box of cards would cost. I was…read moretold $100 per box over the phone. After driving about 20 minutes to the store, the owner suddenly changed the price to $120 per box. When I mentioned that I had been quoted $100, I was told, "That's not my problem. The guy on the phone is new. It happens every day." If pricing mistakes like that really happen every day, it's hard to understand how the business continues to operate that way. Customers shouldn't be expected to waste time and gas because employees aren't given accurate pricing information. The experience was made worse by the rude attitude. During my phone call, the employee even told me what the store had paid for the boxes, and once I arrived, the owner gave a different explanation about the pricing. The whole interaction felt dishonest and unprofessional. On top of that, many of the cards and packs were already priced higher than other local stores and online retailers. Based on my experience, I won't be returning and can't recommend Comic Heaven to other collectors. Zero stars !

The new comics are displayed display well at the back of the store surrounded by the more recent books and then the nice selection of back issues. The area around the counter has the cool collectibles, some statues and other goodies. I like the old collectible comic related drinking glasses. Then you resurface into the shelving of Manga, graphic novels, toys and Funkos. Up front there are some display cases full of older collectible comics and a rack of t-shirts. Check out the pics. I was talking to one of the employees and they said that they have six local writers/artists/creators coming in for free comic book day this Saturday and John will have his convention stock broken out and set up. His convention stock is amazing for silver age and golden age and key comics !
