It was great to work on respectful and disciplined athletes. However, it was disappointing for the lack of payment promptness. I realize that we are far away and there are time zone differences. However, USC is right there in California. USC should have paid you promptly. Hawaii is a mere email or text or phone call away. The massage team really took this job seriously and put in a lot of effort to provide the best professional service. Then when we we expecting our payments to be processed on September 3, and it was delayed again and again, The massage therapists were getting restless and angry. We received our checks on October 3, 2013. One month after the date promised. To top it off, excuses were pointing to the USC payments being late as the reason for the delay. If Massage Corporation cannot pay their staff promptly, they should not keep making promises that are repeatedly broken. There is always more to the story. I don't know all the reasons for this fiasco. I just feel really bummed that I had to chase down my payment for a whole month. In the future I would not take a job from massage corporation unless the payment was promised within a week of the gig. Get the contract in writing, request that you get your payment without a headache. Dan is the one who recruited us, He may have done his job assignment, but he was made to look bad too. The phone number is his cell number. Too bad he is only a representative of the corporation. Maybe he should not get the blame at all. So we called the USC trainers and let them know our feelings about our payment being late. I would not be surprised if USC found another massage organization to work with.
