I can tell they have a very strong work ethic and Dr Santana takes pride in his business, and rightfully so. He is doing everything a business owner and doctor should be doing. They work long hours over there to be there for people in pain. Doctor Santana never rushes appointments. I don't know how he does it, but I always feel listened to. My visit was…read moreunacceptable on multiple levels: Severe Safety & Consent Violation: Despite my intake paperwork explicitly stating that I have epilepsy, the practitioner hooked the acupuncture needles up to electrical stimulation (TENS unit) without my knowledge, consent, or request. Doing this to an epileptic patient is extremely dangerous and left me bedridden on the verge of a seizure. Patient safety and informed consent were completely ignored. Fraudulent Billing: I was billed for multiple services that were never discussed or provided. This included charges for massages, therapeutic exercises, infrared therapy, an additional 15 minutes of acupuncture, and a $200 intake fee for a single, standard session that did nothing. Unsanitary & Unprofessional Environment: The office smells gross, there are flies, and the facility is poorly maintained. Walking into such an unclean space should have been my first warning sign. On top of that, the owner is extremely rude and dismissive. I chose this location for convenience due to my driving restrictions with my condition, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Avoid this scam of a practice entirely. Formal complaints are being filed with the appropriate state licensing and medical negligence boards

I came here because my knee had been hurting for over 2 months after sitting in a middle seat during a 12+ hour plane ride where I felt like I messed up a nerve or alignment somewhere. After trying a chiropractor, doing exercises through physical therapy and massage, I decided to try acupuncture. At this place, he first does about a 10 minute cupping session, then a 10 minute heating pad, then a 10 minute acupuncture then about a 5 minute massage. He was $85 for a first time appointment, but the only place open with an appointment on a Saturday. The intake alone with the doctor going over your medical history took so long that I got very frustrated cause I had already written it on the lengthy forms, and wanted him to get to the adjustment already, since my dog was unfortunately in my car (who had the air conditioning on in my car with the doors locked). I did inform the secretary and the doctor about it. I thought several times about excusing myself from the intake portion to check on my dog and about 25 minutes into the intake I did just that. I expected the adjustment to be over by then since there were no other patients. I do APPRECIATE that the office manager allowed my dog to come inside and stay in their break room so he didn't have to stay in my car. (I guess she knew that this was going to take a lot longer then a typical chiropractic adjustment). After about an hour and 15 minutes of him mostly talking about himself and how experienced he was, he FINALLY adjusted me but I did have to request the full spine alignment cause I think he thought I couldn't handle it. My pain went away for 3 days and then was back again. I admire his good intentions to give patients plenty of time, but he was so old school and didn't seem to be aware of how long he was taking. This was more like a physical therapy appointment then a chiropractic adjustment. I think they should let people choose if they want PT or want just an adjustment, and if he plans to spent 35 minutes getting a history, then why have us fill out all the forms if he is going to duplicate it again.

My boyfriend has been having severe back pain for about four years. Sometimes it would be bad and…read moreother times it would be less to almost nothing. So it finally got to a point that he was in pain almost all of the time and though I never thought chiropractors could help we didn't have much of choice since my boyfriend doesn't have health insurance and we can not afford thousands of dollars in treatment. I needed a place that was close to home and I preferred a doctor that spoke Spanish. I found that here at Vital Health with Dr. Melzer. We have been there for three treatments with Dr. Melzer and my boyfriend is feeling better and better. It's of course a process and no one is cured after one treatment but there is definite improvement just after three visits. It's a cute little office and they just remodeled it so it's really nice. Everything is really clean and sanitary. Everyone working there is very friendly. You have to park on the street but I've never had a problem getting a place to park. Dr. Melzer is one of the most nicest people I have ever met. He is so full of life and gives off such a great energy. He loves his work and he cares about his patients. He is so positive and so happy that you leave his office feeling fantastic just from being around him. You can tell by watching him that he knows what he is doing and his adjustments are done with care and precision. Dr. Melzer is going on vacation for a few weeks so I told my boyfriend that he will just have to wait until he comes back from vacation because I don't trust my boyfriend in the hands of anyone else. If you are having back pain don't hesitate to come here. They are having a cash patient special for $50.00 a visit. It's well worth it...and I'll be updating this review as my boyfriend progresses along in his treatment!
