While visiting San Pedro recently I was fortunate to have the opportunity to have a few sessions with Michelle Sena here at Total Body. Michelle took the time to understand my current exercise regimen and quickly formed a group of exercises well-suited to pushing my abilities to a point where I felt like I'd had a great workout but not overworked at all. Her environment is friendly and functional, and her communication and experience are well-directed and functional. I love this place. Been coming here for years. Having Dr. Nahdir give my poor and painful body a much needed adjustment then follow it up with a full body massage with Roxanne, it's the best. Truly glad I decided to start my chiropractic treatment here. The ladies at the front desk are so pleasant and on top of things. There was a bit of a wait for my original scheduled appointment time but it was well worth it. The doctor took his time and was so personable. Went to 4 different chiropractors after my bad accident the other 3 were a joke came here and he know right away I was suffering from a concussion my own doctor didn't even tell me that even after MRI's and cat scans , I have really bad back problems from my accident I swear I come twice a week now I can actually stand up And do dishes without crying of pAin. What an amazing place!! If you are having any type of issues and you are being bombarded with narcotics, prescriptions, pills ...., STOP! You need to visit this office. Seriously what else do you have to loose. Even if your insurance does not cover 100% of your treatment what you pay for your prescriptions will cover your visits. I'm currently going back and forth from Colorado and San Pedro and and needed an acupuncturist as well as a chiropractor in San Pedro. About 6 months ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and many other symptoms that accompany, example, IBS, foggy brain, chronic fatigue and the list goes on. About a month ago I realized that my fibromyalgia meds were no longer working. At this point the doctor in Colorado had increased my medication and added another on top including a sleeping pill. But everything had stopped working, and my pain was worse than when I started treatments. When I found this office, the first consultation I had with the Doctor I was blown away by his knowledge on diet, his patience in taking his time to listen to me and ask a lot of questions. I work in the medical field I will be the first to talk you that doctors either don't have the time or just don't care. The doctor explained to me how avoiding DAMP accumulation through food is a huge factor in my case and many other people's diseases. This was a huge eye opener. The doctor took the time to go through my diet, explained to me the process and his medical expertise with fibromyalgia. He also mentioned that most peoples diseases stems from the gut. I could go on and on.... I'm Just totally blessed that I was blessed to find this place and pass on the knowledge. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and was seeking help and relief for my upper back/neck pain. My rheumatologist said it wasn't RA related and just recommended an orthopedic pillow. Didn't do anything. This led me to seek help elsewhere. I thought maybe a chiropractor might help, so I called a couple places before Total Body Health. The other places seemed fine but the receptionist at TBH was super helpful and did her best to answer all my questions. I explained to her what was happening and how I was contemplating on whether seeing an acupuncturist or chiropractor. She suggest doctor Kombiz Pourteymoor, since he does both forms of treatment. I have to say that's what sold me. It's nice being able to see one doctor for both treatments if need be. I already hate how there is no communication between my general physician and rheumatologist. During my first appointment Dr. Pourteymoor did his best to understand everything that was going on with my body and then educated me on what might be happening and what treatment route is best considering my medical condition. He was very patient and made sure to answer all my questions. We started treatment that first day (acupuncture) and I already started feeling improvement. I have been going for a little over a month now and it has helped a lot! He treats me while I'm there, but also teaches stretches and exercise that I can do at home to further remedy the issue. Dr. Kombiz and Dr. Nahdir both are amazing at what they do. The amount of knowledge the two have is beyond any chiropractic office I've ever visited. Previously, I've had some rotator cuff issues and mid-back pain which through an extensive examination, we were able to implement a regiment that helped me get back to my normal self. Love it here! My back has spasms and has bugged me for years. The treatments are thorough, Chiropractic plus other treatments (heat, etc..) and last 45min-1hr. I found this office through a friend who had received acupuncture treatment following rotator cuff surgery. Although I have not yet had acupuncture treatment, I have had two massages from Isabelle. She is absolutely fabulous! Before she begins she takes time to ask about problem areas, and then spends time on those spots. Most massage therapists will ask, and then continue with their usual routine. I have disc problems and require regular massage, so I am thrilled to find Isabelle. The massage includes aroma therapy, all for only $45 (plus tip if you are a nice person). For an additional $10 she will do hot stone massage, which I plan to do on my next trip. read more

Dr. Nahdir was SUPER helpful, listened to my concerns and was thorough in identifying the problems and finding a solution.
