The installers took great care when driving the Dingo through the gate opening and planting the tree. However, in the spring of 2026, only half the tree produced foliage. We emailed the company and asked if we should apply spring fertilizer to help it along. We received no response. A week later we called Columbus Trees and were told to send photos. We sent two photos of the tree: one from the day it was planted with full foliage and another of the tree this spring with only half the tree producing leaves. The owner, Andrew, called, apologized for the delay in getting back to us, offered to replace the Redbud with a selection of our choice, and made some suggestions that would fit our requirements. We are waiting to schedule the installation of the replacement tree.

They were the same as the Dublin location. I decided to go for it. I also bought a lemon tree. My frustration (4 stars) came from the service. A nice young woman pointed me towards where they were, but I was still lost. Then I saw her again with another older lady and this lady walked me into the room and found what they had available. She apologized and said they should have found her to help me in the first place. This is the second time I've been here in the last month, and I enjoyed the large gift shop the first time. Otherwise, our experience was overwhelmingly subpar for the investment. We asked for a simple front yard landscaping revamp. There were more misses than wins with the overall delivery: 1) Design proposal took longer than quoted (no big deal, I know they're busy), and was missing a key part we originally asked for (and got an "oops sorry, here's a haphazard fix"). Design still lacked some our accessory asks, but we decided to disregard those anyway. I feel as though our vision wasn't heard and believe me, I am an over-communicator. Maybe budget was an unspoken obstacle? But if so, it should have been communicated - we were flexible! 2) The install day was never scheduled, and the install team showed up unannounced without designer oversight as promised. Luckily I was able to arrange to stay home for the install. 3) We were charged for new plants, that we didn't receive. Instead they "transplanted" our dead plants that looked awful (these were the reason we were investing in new landscaping altogether). 4) Old random foliage and plants were left in our landscape (likely with intention, because they planted the new around them which threw off spacing). 5) Some plants did not take and remained weed-y, even with frequent and appropriate watering. When addressed, we were told we were not watering enough... doubt it, but ok. See photos. I'm shocked they thought this was acceptable, and didn't ask how to handle if there was question at the time of install. We ended up needing to replant about half of the overall work ourselves. Old plant concerns were remedied on our invoice, and follow-up communication was prompt from the designer at least. Won't re-engage.

This project was supposed to take me a week at max, but has now gone on for more than two weeks. Every wheel barrel full of soil needs to be sifted. I had to devise my own way of sifting and instead of being able to just spread the soil in the yard, I must take at least 10 minutes to 15 minutes to fill a wheelbarrow and then I'm able to spread it. After the sifting, it is still not what I would consider pulverized. If I'm going to use all this soil the way I need to, I'm going to need to find a way to crush all the leftover clumps. The only reason I'm giving 2 instead of 1 star is because delivery was on time and fast. Also, I want to add that I did call customer service, and they did give me back half my money when I complained. Though, the more I work on this, the more I wish I had gone with someone else or bought it by the bag at Home Depot.

I paid up front and when they came out the workers were nice, but they only did about 2/3rd the agreed upon job and said they needed to bring a lift out to get the higher branches because they thought their ladders were tall enough but they were wrong. So the job was incomplete and despite saying they'd email me a quote to bring a lift out I've heard nothing since. So I paid for a job, only got the easiest 2/3rd part of it done, and heard nothing since. I genuinely regret hiring this company.

A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. We had a major poison ivy problem, as well as English ivy overgrowth and they took care of both.
