To my surprise, I was contacted the same day...in fact within the hour of my request (which is kind of unheard of these days). Jose reached out to me inquiring about what I exactly needed and we began discussing times and a day to meet. When he arrived, we walked the property to identify what I needed done. He was very diligent on the plan of attack and even offered additional services (verify irrigation system was working correctly). We scheduled the day to come back and he was on site bright an early, began trimming up the yard and by the time I went outside to greet him, he and his crew had already removed a dead tree and several dead bushes. Once all work was completed, we walked the property to verify what was discussed was the end result. He even checked the irrigation as offered (which resulted in him needing to come back for minor repairs we identified). I referred him to a neighbor who used his service and was very pleased with the outcome as well. I now have a working relationship with Jose and have a regular maintenance schedule for my property to keep our landscaping needs fulfilled. I would definitely recommend Jose to help you with your requests.

We began by ripping out existing plants, pavers, brown gravel, and artificial turf for both a putting green and a general use area. We started by building a pool (a cheap plug for Dolphin Pools who did an amazing job). After the pool was completed, the second half of the project was ready to begin. This is where Colorworks stepped up to the plate. I could not begin this without mentioning one of the owners, "Jon Hammel". Colorworks Landscape Design, Inc. received rave reviews on Google and Yelp, so we reached out and were promptly scheduled for a complimentary estimate. Upon Jon's arrival, I could sense his excitement and creativity as he envisioned transforming our dream backyard into the upgraded space we desired. Although we had a plan in place, Jon skillfully incorporated his unique ideas, resulting in a comprehensive rendering of the project. We were immediately convinced that Colorworks was the ideal choice for our project. What truly set Jon apart was his unwavering honesty and thoughtful approach to refining our existing plan, ensuring that it reached its full potential. I want to clearly state that there are many stages to such a massive project. There are always going to be delays, and we had a few. Additional parts needed to be ordered, and of course, the weather did not always agree (lots of rain). Since our backyard is not the largest, every inch of the project required attention, and Jon fully comprehended that. The project included 3 large retaining walls, 164 Sq ft. of pearlescent travertine, 18 Indian laurel ficus trees with 6 tons of topsoil, 450 sq ft. of Daytona 80 0z turf, 4 stoned columns on a pergola, a wood accent backdrop for pots, and white rocks. This also included taping into existing irrigation drip, electrical lines, and reusing leftover pavers in other areas. Jon (along with our ideas) was the brains of the project, but Cesar Aldama is the contractor who brought it all together. Cesar, along with Ginato, is an excellent team. They showed up on time and worked tirelessly each day, and consistently cleaned up before they left. They always treated our home with respect, and we couldn't help but notice. Cesar is an expert in construction projects and possesses extensive knowledge in the field. My wife, being meticulous and OCD, wanted perfection in the job. Cesar meticulously coordinated with us on every aspect of the project, providing valuable advice on what could and couldn't be done. He is truly an artist, and we couldn't thank him and Ginato enough. The straightforward truth is that Colorworks fulfilled their promise! I can't forget to mention other members of the team that did amazing work: Jeff (owner), Mark, Manny (Turf installer and his awesome crew). Colorworks Landscape Design, Inc. is an exceptional choice, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. It's one of the easiest 5-star reviews I've ever written. Gary and Terra!

As stated in original review, the photos are a week old. In no way does that justify a potential 100% price jump. The tree was not "much different". Trees change, but not a ton in 7 days. There is no "inaccurate" information. Original review stated the pics were 1 week old. I did not "agree" the tree looked different. I agreed on rescheduling. And you absolutely 100% said "oh man I forgot the wood chipper" and then later followed with "didn't think I'd need it for this job". I tried to be understanding and work with y'all but, now it seems you are suggesting I have lied about this experience. Perhaps do not provide virtual quotes if they are going to be that inaccurate. And $250-$350 jumping to $575 can absolutely be "more than double" if it is the $250 price point.
