The experience of having a roof installation can be stressful. However, the entire team at Jersey Roofing made the entire process easy and calm. From the sales team to the installation, and customer service, everyone was helpful and responsive. The installation crew and foremen were knowledgeable and kept the team on schedule working into darkness. Clean up was amazing. No debris was left overnight or the next day. Nails were vacuumed, even attic spaces were vacuumed. I can not say enough about Minn!!!! When customer service is no longer valued, she exemplifies what it means to put the customer first. She answered all my questions (no matter how trivial) with respect and kindness. She was extremely responsive dispatching a team (prior to the installation) when I had a ice damming leak She kept us inform throughout the installation process. I needed push piers to stabilize my home's foundation, and after getting several quotes, I chose Groundworks. Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward. read more

Randy came by to evaluate for possible cracks in our foundation that were causing a moisture problem on the inside of our house. He arrived on time for the appointment, was courteous, and professional and very knowledgeable about his specialty. He spent 2 hours explaining all the causes and possible solutions to our problem. They came to "lift" a cracked, sunken, patio, and did an amazing job; this *should* be a 5-star review, please read on. This is a tough review to write, because the crew (Nick & Elario) were outstanding; they were professional, friendly, and their work was excellent. They exceeded my expectations -- outstanding work! This would be a 5-star review, EXCEPT -- the communication from the company is terrible. They don't answer the phones, they don't answer emails, they don't return phone calls or reply to emails. They are extremely frustrating to deal with. Interestingly, if you call in the evening when the local office is closed, Groundworks Canada answers the call, and actually does their best to help. But the South Plainfield office, fuggedaboudit. But let me end by saying, the work they do lifting concrete is outstanding. Too bad they have such a dysfunctional administrative office. read more

Terrible communication. Didn't even get an estimate done because THREE individuals, one after the other, dropped the ball and just stopped communicating. The first guy, who is actually supposed to come and give an estimate, was on his way to my place initially, but then called back a few minutes later and told me he got into a car accident. Eventually, he disappeared and stopped responding. Some woman eventually texted me to follow up on the account...and I texted her back, and called her to leave at least one voicemail...and she never got back to me. Never a response, even. Then, a 3rd person took over, sending me a text to ask if they could help, etc. I explained the lack of...everything...and he said that he thought the estimate had already been done, etc. I told him nope, not at all. He said he would get back to me (???), but never did. When I texted him back after a week, he didn't even remember the situation or me. How hard is it to schedule some schmuck to actually come out and do his job to provide a free estimate? FOH. UPDATE: I spoke with someone new (Jason) who was much better in his communication and apologized for the prior lack of response. He stopped by to inspect the house and grounds and we had a detailed conversation. I appreciated his attempt to make it right. I haven't had any work done and may not, but I wanted to update the review and leave it here as a more accurate record of my interaction. read more

After doing my due diligence and receiving a few quotes for an interior basement drainage system, Groundworks Certified Field Inspector, Sunny Kauser, is who won me over with his knowledge, professionalism and competitive pricing. I was never rushed or meant to feel pressured to e-sign on the dotted line in any way. Everyone was great starting with Sunny to Linda & Katie in the home office who took care of all scheduling and notifications, Field Supervisor, Ray, who put my mind at ease when I had a million questions and finally Ramon, Aldrin & Joel who exceeded my expectations to insure the arduous back-breaking work over a 3 day period was perfect and on-point. We had Josh Kennedy come by to give an estimate for adding 5 posts and reenforcement under our kitchen floor that after 38 years had tilted a bit due to rain seeping in from the deck under the kitchen. Right away I could tell he is a very knowledgeable expert who understood the issue and gave us an estimate that we accepted same day. Today 2/6/2025 his technical experts Dave Santiago & team came and finished the job perfectly in under 4 hours. Remarkable people, honest, straight forward, no games, value for the money; worth the ~$9,000 spent. I'd do this again if I had another home! Sorry, tried a few times to attach photos but I failed! From the quote process to the completion of the actual work by the onsite foreman (Christian) and his team, everything went very smoothly. Christian regularly kept me abreast of the work being done which involved putting steel piers in the ground to stabilize the back corner of our house which had started to sink and cause a significant foundation crack. My wife and I were very happy with the team's professionalism and skill. It is not great to hear the corner of your house has sunk almost an inch and to hear what has to be done to stabilize the house, but everyone from Groundworks was patient and knowledgeable d we always felt like we were in very good hands. read more

I have had a Busydog/Groundworks system in my home for 3 years. In that 3 year time span I have had several system failures during bad storms. Each time, getting a hold of someone to repair, adjust or service the system has been incredibly difficult. There is a habitual and chronic lack of communication from the management team regarding ETA of techs, availability of tech, or even receptiveness to issues with installation. It was a struggle to even convince them that they had installed the outflow pipe too close to my home. Four storms, and several videos later before they would even acknowledge the feedback. Eventually they moved the outflow pipe further away (at MY expense by the way). The system was fine for about a year. Most recently, several months after a regular annual service appointment. A significant storm comes through and we've had another pump failure. Again, needing to call through a service department, "escalation" and just a call back stating "we'll get someone there." Hours go by, still no one. No status, no ETA. The service level from this company is completely unacceptable, considering the level of cost for the product. The worst part is, if this were an item like a car, I would simply sell it back to them and buy another product. But with this product, it's in your home for good. You can't tell them to dig it up and give you your money back. So you're stuck with them! Buyer beware! read more
