Be sure to carefully read the GChart in which they document your visit and send you and check for slander, defamation of character, and outright intentional LIBEL which they will vehemently deny if you call to protest what they have written! They are completely two-faced and will do whatever it takes to deflect their completely unprofessional behavior on you. I arrived early for an appointment a few weeks ago feeling violently ill due to taking a medication for an aching hip and I was seeking some help, only to be "greeted" by two of the most rude, unprofessional desk workers imaginable and treated like an annoyance instead of like an ill patient who was ready to pass out from exhaustion, having been up all night vomiting even after I explained to them what was wrong and why I was there early!!! I am a Christian yet I never Bible thump others, and in return I do not appreciate others shoving their perversions in my face. If someone wants to role play Boy George and dramatically roll his eyes, then that person can do it after work at a drag party, and if someone else wants to giggle through a personal call and point her nine-inch nails at me demanding that I sit down and wait for a nurse then GHC must be desperate to find good, compassionate employees', so sad! 1) The business office is terrible and will charge you fees/co-pays if you talk about anything off what the appointment was scheduled for. I went in for a physical (no copay) and because labs were ordered & prescriptions called in, they deemed it an office visit and charged. SNEAKY & DEVIOUS and I will be leaving GHC at the first opportunity. 2) Whomever watches the my chart messages told me twice to find another doctor to see when the 2 doctors I previously saw (for a sinus infection) were out. Aren't doctors suppose to cover doctor's patients when they are out? TERRIBLE if this is how the medical profession is going. read more

I had met with my Doctor for the first time, he listened to my concern and took a proper action in the fasted time to help me find my ailment. through his action I was able to schedule a surgery at UW Health Center, I don't think there was any lack of efforts, on the behalf of GHC East Clinic, I appreciate the knowledge and the patient and understanding of my doctor to give me. After the surgery I had pain so I called my provider and I get same day appointment with Nurse Practitioner as before the have provided me with all the lap tests and care so they can make sure of my wellbeing. They told me that I can't have Medicaid be my primary insurance, if I'm enrolled in GHC, that's my primary insurance. I asked if that was only when I go to a GHC clinic, she said no...when you are treated anywhere. For a CT scan I need to travel 11.8 miles out of my way before I see my oncologist when I can have a scan performed on the next floor and down the hall from my oncologist. They don't care. I specifically asked if I could just pay their premiums and use them if something messed up with SS, it happened last year and I went without insurance for 2 months, so I know it can happen again. The girl said no...that's insurance fraud, it's against the law! Okay fine, then send my Medicaid card through and pay me back for the two appts. I paid them for, as now Medicaid now says I was never not covered by them. And I will be filling out the form to remove me from GHC and their issues, was told IF they release me then I can go wherever I want. I know where they can go, for sure! read more

I've been to my doctor over 4 times in last 2 weeks for my pain. I am already set up for surgery for my knee. All this time my hip is bad and got severely worst with bad shooting pain down leg after working on. Because there is a heroin epidemic Dr. Segal wont prescribe any.. thanks a lot why I suffer. This is not a reflection of care but more a reflection of of the business office. So i have medicare prime and ghc is my secondary insurance. They are completly incompetent. I have been struggling with them for three months and they still can't get it right. If they are your one and only insurer and you are healthy go ahead their providers are great. If you have a complex condition ( a pharmacist was allowed to approve or deny a script from the dr.) Or you have more than one insurer you are screwed. In my case i hit my max out of pocket only for them to turn around and reject a few high dollar claims in an arrempt to have me pay more. This appears to be their trend instead of being ethical. They also claim they were unware of my primary insurace till over a month into my care despite the fact that I registered clearly the first week of January giving them both and verifing they know which one was primary so they are lying and cheating read more
