Finally made the trip to this salon & it was the best experience I could've asked for. William was my stylist and he was not only phenomenal but also such a kind & genuine person who enjoys the work he does. He went above and beyond to make my experience memorable, from the aromatherapy, to the hand massage, to putting in extra TLC (all the little things add up). He gave me facts about the Aveda products (which is also why I wanted to come here), was honest about what style would fit my face and was open to what I wanted to do, and treated my hair amazingly!!! This was the second time getting a haircut at this salon. My previous salon closed and this was the closest one to me. A very clean setup with very nice staff...water was offered upon my entry and my temperature was taken which I really appreciate. Staff were all masked and social distancing enforced. My stylist Victoria was very welcoming and really took time to cut my hair. For my hair washing I was taken to a dimly lit room that reminded me of a spa. The cost is a little pricey but I think it's worth it. read more

Aveda products are wonderful - I love Aveda so I tried this salon for the last couple of years since they use their products. The salon is beautiful and the staff always friendly but ultimately would not recommend: Sadly there has been a lot of turnover and every stylist I liked and tried going back to a second, third or fourth time leaves. read more

For the last year, I have been going to another salon, have been thinking of changing to another salon. However, it's always scary to try to find another stylist you like that will listen and do well. Things happen for a reason, so when my usual stylist cancelled on me at the last minute, I had to scramble to find a new salon. After looking through reviews (and calling places to see if they could get me in last minute), I booked an appointment with Grove Salon. Their communications with me were friendly, personable, and professional. I arrived at my appointment time and was greeted brightly by the receptionist and felt welcomed immediately. The salon was bright and inviting. I was paired with Gina - a friendly, cheery person that was ready to listen to my hair requests and motor-mouth abilities. (I love chatting with my stylist, and anyone else within talking distance. :o) ) I got a single color, wash, and Botanical treatment. (NEVER leave without getting this - it costs about $25 more, but WELL worth the money since it repairs your hair strands and leaves your hair feeling and looking like flowing silk.) The sinks had recliners that you relax in and blocks to cradle your head; with soothing music and shimmers of flowing water in the dimmed lighting. Gina made sure that my roots took all the dye and made sure of the quality of my color (the head massage during the conditioning stage was my favorite part!) Then onto the cut - Gina listened at every step, gave suggestions, and made my hair look amazing. I walked out with my hair shiny and bouncing... And all for HALF the price of my old stylist! Yes, a good haircut is suppose to be a bit of money - this isn't a Fantastic Sams or a Hair Cuttery. (Those are great for a quick cut on a budget, but you get what you pay for!) This is a SALON - It is meant for you to pamper yourself and us women deserve to be pampered - even if we have to pay for it ourselves! if you are willing to get a great cut, a great experience, and have the extra money (between $150 & $200 - DON'T FORGET YOUR TIP), then this is the place for you to be your gorgeous self! My hairstylist (Gina) and the receptionist (Shannon) both deserve 20 stars! The salon and the rest of the salon deserves 10 stars on a 5 star platform! I've gone here for haircuts and had good experiences but this was my first time going here for highlights. Maria did an amazing job. Her attention to detail was very much appreciated. We discussed what I wanted and she asked clarifying questions, I never felt rushed. They also work with you to find an appointment that works for you, other salons I've tried seem annoyed when the first option they give doesn't work for you. I have a complicated work schedule but they worked with me. They offered a beverage right away. All around, super happy with my experience and Maria's work with my highlights. I used to go to a salon downtown that I liked. But now that I live in Kissimmee, that is way too far. I also always felt that they tried to push expensive products too much. After being very down about my hair I decided to make a change and make an appointment with Grove Aveda Salon. The lady who answered the phone to set up my appointment was very nice. I did not know any of the stylists there so she put me with someone who she thought would be good for what I wanted and I am so glad she did. Athina was lovely and accommodating. She asked if I wanted anything to drink and then sat down with me to discuss what I wanted with my hair. She was very honest in what she thought would work and what wouldn't. I put my trust in her to do what she thought would be best. I was there for a long time but I had a great conversation with her so it went by fast and it was so worth it in the end. This is the best hair I have ever had and she educated me on how to take care of it. Athina is going to the new location across town and I will follow her there for sure. The lady who attended me was optimistic and very great. I came in for a hair consultation understand how to style my hair type. First time going to a saloon and it was a nice experience. She started cutting my hair, and only using one guard and scissors. Shampoo, and a final trim. It looked phenomenal. But i shit you not, the day after my hair looked awful and very uneven. No line up, shape up, edges, nothing. I wasn't told it would cost me $55 for an uneven haircut on both sides with one guard. I might as well just done it myself. But do yourself a favor and don't gets a mens cut from here. They have other services that look very cool. But seriously don't do a mens cut. read more

Check-in was quick and smooth with friendly staff. Nicole, my stylist, was awesome! Super friendly, listened to what cut I was looking for, engaged in conversation at the right times, and gave me a wonderful cut. And the scalp massage and hand/arm massage was dreamy. Salon is clean and organized as well. The staff member performing the massages in the angled "chair" up front was also very friendly and helpful. Excellent experience all around! I normally go to a salon 1.5 miles from my house but missed the Aveda experience. It was worth the 30 minute drive and I'll definitely be back!! read more

I was treated like a number. T Overcharged and left with hair looking worse and overprocessed as not once were my highlights checked to see if ready. My hair is thin and develops fast. I paid double what I normally do and left with mohawk (not the Halo) highlights as described. No wonder they were not busy. Not the Aveda service I have had in the past. I won't be back. read more

After a couple of places recommended by friends were a disappointment, I did a google search and tried this one. I loved it! I came in for a haircut this past Wednesday. This was my first time with this establishment. The atmosphere was nice and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. William was my hairdresser and I showed him a quick visual of the desired length I was looking to achieve which was right above my chest. The style I wanted was a V-cut with long layers and to have my face framed. William said because of the style I wanted, he would have to initially cut it longer. Without confirming that the length he was about to cut was good with me, he just went ahead and cut it. It was already way shorter than I wanted and this was before styling and because he originally cut it so short, it wasn't even styled the way I wanted. My hair is 3-4 inches shorter than I wanted. It barely goes below my shoulder. I cried for 2 hours after leaving, I was so upset. read more

I came here because my previous hair dresser had messed up my color three times. I wanted a new stylist and saw Grove as a drive by. I had an appt with Eva and she was so unbelievable. She suggested not going as light with my hair as I wanted due to the Damage I already had but suggested an alternative which looks better than I could have imagined! She could have taken my money and damaged my hair but was legitimately concerned about my hair health. She walked me thru every step and explained why she was doing what she did. When I inquired about products, she explained what I should look for and why it would help my hair. I asked if there were any Aveda products I should consider and she recommended a few and explained to me why she recommends them. I never get pressured to buy, if anything, I felt educated on how to wash and style my hair. I can't wait to go back in 4 weeks. Would highly recommend!! read more
