On startup (suddenly) I started seeing a Dell Alarm screen reporting bad disk sector(s). I have MS Windows 10 - Office 2016. One very knowledgeable tech came and looked at it and his opinion was it was a "false positive" and to simply continue backing up which I did for a while... backing up around 400,000 data files plus two (current and archive) Ouitlook .pst files. I also purchased a replacement 1 TB hard drive ( Samsung 1 TB 870 "EVO SSD hard drive and SSD/HDD mounting frame at Microcenter.... just in case. Being nervous Nellie myself I finally researched to find another reliable computer expert tech to replace. Luckily I cam across Justin Brown at Fit-It Computer Repair - Columbus OH. Justin came and picked up the computer and returned it the next day. He basically mirrored the entire drive to assure that it would be exactly the same as the old system ... this basic copies .. sector-by-sector and installs on the new disk the great advantage being ... none of the software has to be reinstalled and none of the settings ... a mirror of the original. I could not be happier and to add to it Justin is very competent and a great person to work with. I would give "10 stars" if I could.

What I love is that they will come and fix your computer in your own home and unless major "surgery" is needed, the problem can normally be fixed in an hour or so. Great for busy students and business professionals, who do not have the time to go wait in line and deal with the impersonal computer repair centers. Both times that I have used Friendly Computers, Marty, was my personal repair guru. My laptop wasn't powering up or charging, so I called on a Thursday night, dropped it off on Friday afternoon, and received a call back on Saturday morning at 9:30 that it was finished! They preformed some fast work! They not only fixed the power jack internally, but replaced both tips on my power cord. My final price was only $68. I will say it was a little bit of a pain to have to pay in cash (the only form of currency excepted), but I don't blame them to keep the costs down. I had called around to a few other places and they all wanted at least $100. If you need your computer fixed, this is the place to take it for the price, speed, and wonderful customer service!!!!
