So as a grocery store, I would say 3.5 stars and as an eatery, I would say 4.5 stars so let's call…read morethat an even 4 stars for El Molino. Grocery: I love how the place is so fresh and modern with cool displays like the orange trees when you walk in the door, but every time I walk around to shop, I don't end up finding much that I need. Usually at cultural grocery stores, I find some unique selections of things I can't find elsewhere as well as great prices on things that are more common. While I do find some great hot sauces and some other items, I feel that the standard items are higher priced than most grocery stores. For that reason, I only end up purchasing a few select items from the grocery area. Eatery: I love going in for tacos or a platter. I need to try some of the other items too. It's great that there are so many options, but it's also like a food court and you need to go to different places for different things. Until you've been a few times, you kinda have to figure it out for yourself. The food is always great though. I have a few tacos that I haven't loved, but I just don't order those ones when I go back. As of now it's set up great for getting food to go and then they have a bunch of tables if you want to dine in. It would be great if they added some more atmosphere to the dining experience like their taqueria in Johns Island.

OMG what took me so long to discover this place! El Molino supermarket on Rivers Avenue is the…read moreultimate Hispanic market. It has an incredible bakery section, an ice cream and dessert area, and one very large eatery with two sections depending on what type of food you want. Everything in the eatery is authentically cooked and prepared with the freshest of ingredients. I couldn't resist ordering the fish tacos. They only sell in 3s; however, all the other tacos you can buy just one. My fish was grilled to perfection and well seasoned with a cilantro salsa, cheese, lettuce, fresh tomatoes and lime wedges. Yummy! It also came with a spicy crema, which is absolutely amazing. The heat held on with a slight burn at the end. The bakery section was filled with incredible pastries and cakes and sweet breads, donuts,Flans, churros... you name it, they've got it. They also have a full produce are with fresh fruit and vegetables and great prices. The butcher area was filled with a variety of meats for any style of cooking. Their spice aisle was amazing! So many things to choose from. I think we spent at least a couple of hours here just exploring the store, enjoying the food and loving the atmosphere with upbeat Latina/Hispanic music. Everything was clean, organized and well displayed. Service was amazing with friendly faces and smiles. It's my new favorite place to shop and enjoy a meal. Great place for families!

Yelp Family, What a…read moreyear it has been. I have so many reviews to share, and somehow we're already six months into 2026... so let's get started. Yesterday, I went with my sister and dad to my dad's appointment. Afterwards, my sister insisted we stop at Piggly Wiggly to grab some food. She kept talking about how good their deli food was. Usually she's right, but I'm thinking... there's a Piggly Wiggly where we live how different can it really be? Well. We made our way to this location on a Monday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. When we got to the deli, there was only one person ahead of us and the food looked EXTRA fresh. (Jackpot.) I'm standing there looking at everything and thinking... wow, this all looks good. Pork chops, baked chicken, fried chicken, sweet potato casserole... I could keep going. Presentation? Solid. When it was my turn, I went with baked chicken (a thigh and leg), yellow chicken rice, and sweet potato casserole. Doesn't sound like a lot, right? HA. Wait until you see the serving size. My plate was LOADED. What I appreciated most was how friendly the staff was while serving the food. They were so kind and didn't have an attitude while fixing plates (and if you know deli counters... you know). They made my first experience a great one. Overall, I really enjoyed the food. The baked chicken was good. The sweet potato casserole? I honestly could have eaten an entire pan of that by myself. The chicken rice was good too, my serving had a lot of pepper, but I still enjoyed it. My dad and sister got food as well, and they both enjoyed theirs. Would I come back here? Yep! I spent $9.99 on a plate I've been eating off for TWO DAYS. That's how much food they gave me. Next time, I want to try the fried chicken because that looked really good. If you're tired of drive-thru food and want a hot meal that actually feels homemade, I definitely recommend checking out the Piggly Wiggly deli!
