This location is my second option when staying in the Isle of the Palms area. They have fully-stocked shelves, and I usually go before work around 9 am. So, it appears that they stock their store overnight and during early morning hours. Due to a city ordinance, face masks are required at retail establishments and food-service establishments, including grocery stores and restaurants. read more

I really like this location, we like the butcher shop a lot here. The shelves are always fully stocked. It's nice, clean, and well-stocked. The people working check out were friendly and helpful. Especially on the island, this spot is totally great and has great products. Ample parking space but it is a shared area with a few eateries there too. This Harris Teeter location on Palm Boulevard on Isle of Palms is a great place to go for all things quality groceries and food when you are in the area. I really like their deli section here. The staff here is very friendly and makes sure that you have everything that you need. read more

Came here needing 1 item. The internet said they were open until 11:00. The sign outside the front door said they were open until 11:00. There was a group of about 15 other customers who came at 10:05. The manager let one customer in and turned the rest of us away saying the store closed at 10:00 in a manner that one to believe that should be common knowledge. I don't mind stores changing hours but be consistent. If you're closed, be closed to everyone. And if your hours have changed, maybe change your posted hours. Just a thought. read more

I have COSTCO membership since 2000. Was very happy with Costco, Lake Zurich, IL and Costco, Charleston, SC. Was happy when Costco was opened in Mt. Pleasant, SC. At the beginning Costco, Mt. Pleasant kept same high standards as other Costco warehouses. Not anymore. Locally baked bread is not eatable. Do they have HACCP certificate how to keep fish safe? Last week bought wild caught cod - returned within 2 hours. It was old and terrible stinky. Berries - moldy. To get to registers - Costco rep checks our membership cards. After paying we see 3-4 reps next to registers looking if we did pay. A few "guards" check our receipts at the exit. Customer service is not acceptable. Customer service manager Laura is pretty rude. It was 4 people at customer service desk - only Laura working, 3 people watching. Huge line waiting. When I asked if somebody else can help - she rudely responding that other reps are in training?! This is your average run of the mill Harris Teeter. Two note worthy things: it's a little smaller than some of the area locations and is taxed at a higher percentage since it is actually on the island. Other than that, the service is good and the selection is brand standard. read more

Small with little selection Minute produce section Tight aisles; the worst with seasonal vacationers Surly cashiers They only got one star because the ladies in the deli were extremely attentive and customer focused. Iop is extremely lucky to have a Teeter on the island. The meat and seafood Dept is A+. The staff works hard to expedite checkout. I'm always treated very well. Can you imagine having to leave the island in mid summer to pick up a few things?????!!!! It would take hours. read more

One of the best stores around, Yes it's a bit more expensive than Bi Lo but their selection of beer & wine is extensive!!! Their butcher is top notch and then meat is better than any other. Highly recommend!!! read more

When we walked into this establishment, we expected MANY different choices of free samples, but were only given 1. They offered delicious orange melons, which we ate almost 8. We traveled around the store attempting to find another sample, which we did not. But what we did find, was an empty sample box previously containing cheese. Everybody else ate it, and the workers did not have the training in order to refill the cheese. Although they were staring at us as we ate the melons, they completely disregarded the fact that cheese box was empty. Harris teeter only gets ONE STAR because they refuse to give us samples. Will NOT be returning, going to head to costco instead. read more

Much better then publix! Priced well and they have a wide selection. The baggers are nice and if you need help finding something, just ask an employee and they will be happy to help you! Average sized store but easy to find everything you need and get in and out of. They have at least two sample boxes open a day. There bakery items are delicious. read more

Sorry to spoil the love fest but I purposely shop at the off-island Harris Teeter because they don't carry many of the items my family needs because there's not enough space (they are more focused on the tourist shoppers). Also no plastic bags here, which is crazy annoying when you're buying ice cream, milk, or other wet items. Staff always friendly though! read more

This is a scaled down version of the HT across the IOP connector. Unique grocery store because the products are specifically items people (well, at least this person's family) on IOP have on our lists. Our daughter, who lives in Hanahan, is always pleasantly surprised to see various foods that she has had difficulty finding at other grocery stores (including other HTs). I really feel the managers/buyers pay attention to what people are buying and what items are requested. More so than other HTs. Produce is varied and fresh. Always tons of freshly cut, ready to serve fruit. The meat dept never ceases to amaze me. We adore the filets. Fresh seafood. Nice beer/wine selection. Magazines, books, beach items, souvenirs. I don't know how they provide for everyone.... residents and others. I very very rarely need to go off island to grocery shop. Always surprised when I need something in particular and there it is, at our humble HT. We thank our lucky stars that the Teeter has replaced the old Red and White. It was time. Beach weekends are busy busy busy, but the weather forecasters at the store are always prepared. We have one request.... a salad bar. Since it's a smaller store, it probably wouldn't fit without compromising something else. That's ok. Salads (not salad bars) are everywhere (but, sadly, not on IOP). read more

As a resident of IOP I am so happy with our Harris Teeter! Everyone who works here is awesome! The meat department is one of the finest, and if you don't see what you want just ask Richard or Jim. The managers and clerks are always helpful and kind. The selection of products for this size store is really good too. So happy we have our Harris Teeter! read more

Live here on the Isle of Palms and was happy when they built a new store. The problem is that when you build a new store and don't clean it people don't want to buy much. If the store is filthy then we must assume the food prep areas are the same. Please clean it up! Management problem for sure, the rest of the staff is very helpful and pleasant. read more
