Poor service from the ground to management. They exist only to get a check and nothing else. They are not interested in in creating and developing relationships. As a girl raised in SC from age 6, Piggly Wiggly has been an icon in my life. I have lived through the closing of many locations, but this little Piggy went to market and stands strong. Piggly Wiggly represents home, offers an abundance of local goods as well as all the national brands you want. and brings a small-town feel to a bustling suburban area. I popped in for some St. Paddy's brews to celebrate this festive day and was met with an abundance of choice. I saw beers I didn't know existed and filled my cart with fun. Checkout was a breeze, with fully-staffed registers and zero wait. My checkout lady was so engaging, we chatted about our birthdays as she had recently had one and mine was coming up. This is a real hometown grocer and a true treasure. Support them and keep them around, because there's nothing like it! read more

Friendly employees at grocery stores are part and parcel of what I have always been on the receiving end of here in Charleston. We should all appreciate it, because it's not a common theme beyond the cities limits. Prices here are priced right for products that are of good quality. Meaning, Food Lion whom I have no issue with, prices lower and you get a lower grade of produce, Harris Teeter sits on the opposite side of the spectrum. Yet Piggly Wiggly sells products that are more in line with Food Lions pricing and Harris Teeters quality. read more

The hot food offered at this Piggly Wiggly's deli is usually pretty tasty. Ordered a fried chicken dinner with 2 sides, and a Crab cake dinner with 2 sides. Reasonably priced. The crab cakes did not contain too much bread, which was awesome. Everything was good. read more

My absolute favorite supermarket. The food is always fresh, the market is always clean, the staff is always cordial and the prices are phenomenal. I live in Goose Creek and the prices and quality of food at Piggly Wiggly far exceeds the food and services at Publix, Food Lion, Bi-lo, Walmart Market and Super Walmart. There is plenty of parking and conveniently located off the highway. I am in love with the meat department. I highly recommend this Grocery Store. read more

I'm always shopping here most of the time they have things I want an could use. This is a close by neighborhood grocery store. I'm usually here 5days out the week. The employees are cool. The store is usually clean and the cart are always in place. The meats are kinda pricey. I recommend this place for great service. I'm not generally a fan of the Pig. I just don't understand what the hype is about. Their selection in general is smaller than other stores, often leaving me without a brand I really prefer. Their produce is usually okay, and they have the milk closer to the front of the store, which is nice when in a hurry. They really shine with their growler station, though. I really like that I can take my growler and get a fill up anytime I need. The only thing I dislike is that management has to do it, and not all of them are trained in filling and pricing growlers out. If you need to grab something quick, its worth a stop in. If you are doing a major trip, though, I would go down a little farther to Publix (or better yet, Harris Teeter!) read more

I was in shopping center and sign says fresh sushi. I hadn't had lunch so I decided to try it. What I found was disgusting. They left the Sushi cooler open and there were flies on the fish they use to prepare their 'fresh' sushi. Ewwwww. I wanted to show manager. Front desk called manger on loud speaker and instead of coming to speak to me at service desk like loud speaker said, manager decided to go run a register instead. I went to the register, and met a manager hat quite frankly doesn't know how to manage a supermarket. They obviously have health safety concerns here because their manager is ringing up groceries instead of managing! Ridiculous. read more

Convenient location and my favorite grocery store. They must treat their employees as well as their customers cos I see most of the same employees with smiling faces there for the 8 years I have lived near this store. The store is clean and they rarely are out of anything, good ongoing sales and greenbax books program. They are eager to help you find things and the customer service desk is great for anything from paying the water/electric bill, lottery, or even checking you out if you have a few items and the other lines are busy. You can buy a book of stamps here as well, or in the regular cashier lines as well. Deli food is pretty good...wish they had their cornbread on sale more often.. haven't seen it in awhile. It was so good and sweet like cake and they used to sell it packaged for 1.50...great with chili I made. Redbox machine outside to pick up a movie, too. I'm definitely in with the Pig! read more

Not the cleanest or best stocked grocery store in the world, but it will do in a pinch. Basically, I come here to stock up on lunch and snack supplies. Terrible parking lot and shady characters lurking about. I've been begged for change. Don't feed the animals. Workers are nice and they play some decent music over the p.a.! I've heard The Cure and Elvis Costello, which caused me to break into dance in the aisles, embarrassing my girlfriend. Free wifi, too. read more

One of the worst grocery stores I have ever been to. Produce and meat departments are severely lacking in quality. The grocery selection is also quite miserable. A lot of things any other grocery store would normally have, this Piggly Wiggly does not. The one manager is nice, but the other cashiers are seriously lacking in customer service skills. What a terrible excuse for a grocery store. It all starts in the parking lot which must have been designed by an Engineer with a 2.0 GPA. It only gets worse when you select a cart that's rusty with a bad wheel. The selection of produce, meats, and fish are terrible. The aisles are narrow. And the grocery store is dirty. To top it off, the prices aren't a steal and pig perks are hard to come by. After two trips here I found a Publix, 3 miles further from home but a world away from this store. read more

This is a nice little neighborhood grocery store with just enough stuff in it to cover all of the basics and a few of the nice-to-haves. Need bread, eggs, milk and a bag of dog food? The Pig has your back. The hot food selection in the deli is surprisingly good, and the staff are helpful. I've been going to this site from the mid 80s and while Harris Teeter and Publix and even Bi Lo have a wider variety, for the staples or a quick bite I will pop into the Pig. read more

Awesome place... Hasn't changed much since I started going there as a kid. But non the less it is a great store with good produce and cheap prices. The beer section is to die for. They have too many beers to name on tap(i think over 80). You can bring in any growler for filling and they'll have a great build your own 6 pack selection also. So if you are in the goose creek are and want a great draft beer selection, it's worth the drive. read more

Like the spring rolls the sushi man brings in but they never know what time he will show up everyday (should have a specific time) This is the only supermarket we have close sad it is not kept up better. Wish they would put a publix close. read more
