It was a Dutch Boysenberry Pie which was even more amazing. I bought it with some jalapeño cheddar rolls for my husband and was eager to get home in Orange County as fast as I could so I could have a slice of my favorite pie. Upon slicing my first slice, I was totally bummed to see it was mislabeled and was NOT a boysenberry pie. It was apple! My heart sunk a little. It was too late and too far to go back to remedy the situation. I still ate the pie and it was absolutely delicious. It just wasn't what I expected because of the mislabeling.
