The selection is reduced but thankfully they added forever shelf life cotton candy and Necco's...use to really like this place but 0 thought was given to carrying over any atmosphere or creating a new one. Like a kid in a candy shop!…read more It's a huge candy shop in the Mall of America. In typical Mall fashion, it's a huge shop with plenty of variety. They have typical candies you get anywhere, candy by bulk, and some exotic candies and candy from around the world. It's not just candy, they also have gifts, shirts and a few other offerings. I came in here just to look around and get some bubble gum for the trip.

They had a special for $26 for 30 lollipops. If you have never had a See's lollipop, they are better than any lollipop you have ever had. Super rich and creamy and flavorful. They have a lot more flavors than they had when I was a kid. There was only chocolate and caramel and butterscotch when I was a kid. Now they have flavors like sugar free stuff, coffee, vanilla, just too many to name. They are so wonderful. The lady at the checkout was very nice and we even got a few samples of a chocolate coconut piece of candy when we went in. See's was a big thing in California, so I am glad to see some in Minnesota.

Be still my sweet heart!…read moreLet's face it, most of us have rekindled our love for sweets and comfort after all the bitterness this year. Fear not. Erase the gray and gloom and escape for a bit under the Blue Sun. There is something magical about sparkling colorful bottles of refreshment....in just about every flavor. Feeling nostalgic? They have it. Feeling adventurous (bacon soda anyone?) they have it. Feeling luxurious? You'll find something! Even sugarless for those like myself who are not so sweet ha. Too many flavors to list. Although I walked out with a couple bottles of a "diet" cola from Rhode Island and a grape from Wisconsin. Crafty! When I think "grape" I don't think Wisconsin but what the heck? I also grabbed a bottle of Bubble Up....my grandfathers soda of choice back in the day (and beverage on a Smiley (now defunct) airline on the West Coast...."coffee, tea, coke or Bubble Up?" So fun. On the way out I spotted some Reed's Cinnamon and Lifesavers Butter Rum candy. Back to the register! Candy lovers will rejoice here. And the salt water taffy selection oh gawd. Candy is fresh. Soda is fresh. Staff is super friendly. I'd like to see more fun candies added and maybe a decoder or descriptions of the origins of the various sodas. But this new business (also another location in Spring Lake Park) won my sweet tooth and my heart. Let's get out and support! Get your soda and sweet on! Go!
