When the lady brought them up to the counter, she said to the cashier, "36 plus 4". I think she was meaning add $4 for the foliage/ leaves- which I did not request. I actually like my flowers to be all flower- no foliage. So it came to ~$42 (not exact because this wasn't recently). No big deal. Whatever. Two days later, I was at Safeway and they had a dozen roses for $15!!!! I'm not even exaggerating. Plus Safeway's flowers are real fresh- 9 out of 10 times. Will stick with Safeway from now on!!

When we expressed that we weren't happy that it didn't look anything like the advertised photo she had a dozen excuses, including, they use "stock photography", its head offices fault, "I followed the recipe to a T actually", and something about how its California's fault? Told us we should have ordered sooner and when we told her we came the day before but they were closed she said "actually you can still order flowers" while standing next to a big sign saying they are closed that day! And the kicker, we pointed out a wilted browning flower and she said "that's how they look" funny the other 2 didn't look like that. Absolutely pathetic.
