Established in 2017.

Elaine’s started with one table at the farmers market downtown Grande Prairie and gradually progressed into a beautiful indoor plant and flower shop. This shop is open Tuesdays to Saturdays in the back entrance of the farmers market downtown Grande Prairie Alberta. Elaine’s is noted for her unique plants and beautiful flower arrangements. Always ensuring that her customers are truly satisfied with everything she does. She has been working with Plants and Flowers for over 30 years now. She is always willing to share her knowledge with her customers. She has a great passion and love for Plants and Flowers, and it truly shows in everything that she does. Her goal in life is to make everyone happy by providing them with beautiful house plants and amazing flower arrangements that are sure to please everyone’s style.

I have been in the plant and flower business for over 30 years working at various flower shops, garden centers, taking online courses and continuing my love and passion for Plants and Flowers. Flowers are not fresh. Maybe because due to their price. It was my day off so I decided to check…read moreout a new place. I got 6 roses for ~$36- not really aware how much 6 roses should cost. When the lady brought them up to the counter, she said to the cashier, "36 plus 4". I think she was meaning add $4 for the foliage/ leaves- which I did not request. I actually like my flowers to be all flower- no foliage. So it came to ~$42 (not exact because this wasn't recently). No big deal. Whatever. Two days later, I was at Safeway and they had a dozen roses for $15!!!! I'm not even exaggerating. Plus Safeway's flowers are real fresh- 9 out of 10 times. Will stick with Safeway from now on!!

Would never use them again. Ordered the largest size of an arrangement on their website. At picking…read moreup it was smaller than the small size. When we expressed that we weren't happy that it didn't look anything like the advertised photo she had a dozen excuses, including, they use "stock photography", its head offices fault, "I followed the recipe to a T actually", and something about how its California's fault? Told us we should have ordered sooner and when we told her we came the day before but they were closed she said "actually you can still order flowers" while standing next to a big sign saying they are closed that day! And the kicker, we pointed out a wilted browning flower and she said "that's how they look" funny the other 2 didn't look like that. Absolutely pathetic.
