Melissa was the hygienist for my 2-year-old, and Lucy worked with my 4-year-old--both were patient, gentle, and made my kids feel completely comfortable. The explanation was that my insurance had been maxed out, which apparently was true - but they should have seen that in advance and advised me accordingly. At any rate, they were very supportive of my lack of employment and let me work out a plan to pay it off in installments.

They are incredibly patient with my 3 year old who is always on the go. The orthodontist is amazing as well and my 13 year old also thinks so and actually looks forward to going to the dentist! From the very first visit, things went wrong. I came with my little daughter, because I had no one to leave her with--she always worries about me when I have medical procedures, so she accompanied me. At the first appointment, they told me I needed root canal treatment. The doctor decided to perform two upper molar root canals in a single visit without explaining that afterward I would be unable to chew properly on either side. After the procedure, the filling was left too high, and I could not even close my jaw. I felt severe discomfort and pain when trying to bite, and the pressure caused constant aching. I came back to have it fixed, and they simply filed down the bump a little, but the problem never truly went away. Each time they numbed me, my face became noticeably asymmetrical and stayed numb for far too long. It looked and felt like they were injecting either too large a dose or too close to a nerve. My cheek would droop to one side, and it was very uncomfortable and frightening. It happened every time, not once, which made me worry that something was being done incorrectly. Later, they told me another filling was needed. I came again with my daughter, but I was told they could not treat me because I had a child with me. This shocked me, because I know that many dental clinics have small kids' corners or at least allow children to sit quietly while a parent is being treated. Yet here, they refused to help me simply because my daughter was with me--while I personally saw one of the doctors bring a large dog into the clinic. Apparently, pets are acceptable, but not a calm child sitting nearby. They re-did one of my fillings three times, but it never felt right. The bump remained, and my bite stayed uneven. Then they told me that they could not place a crown and the doctor refused to continue my treatment. Now I have to find another dentist and pay at least $2,000 more to finish what should have been done properly from the start. The second tooth they treated was no better--the filling kept falling out, food constantly got stuck between the teeth, and the tooth stayed sensitive and painful. After the last time they fixed it, it felt okay for about two weeks, and then the pain, swelling, and gum inflammation came back again. Each time I came back, the story repeated itself. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame me, saying that I didn't know the full history of my teeth--even though they had taken full panoramic X-rays and had all my records from the beginning. Every visit left me more frustrated and disappointed. What I expected was proper communication, careful work, and respect for the patient. What I received was unfinished, careless treatment, repeated pain, and avoidance of responsibility. Now I live with discomfort, uneven bite, and financial loss. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. Patients deserve honesty, clear explanations, gentle and competent care, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I found none of that here.
