We call the office to inform them that she was not up to coming due to just getting out of the hospital. They are going to charge a cancellation fee because we did not inform them 48 hours in advance. I was pissed. Our daughter was sick and how am I supposed to know that we were going to end up at the hospital. I was yelling at them because this was not right. They had charged us every cancellation fee since February because our daughter got sick. Most doctor offices have a 24 hour cancellation policy not 48 hours. One pissed off costumer. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone.

I think she might hate her job! Well today was the last straw with her attitude towards us. I called to make an appointment for my son and her attitude and condescending tone on the phone were completely unacceptable. I honestly have never been spoken to by a receptionist in any office, like I was today by Lisa. We did like Dr. Shih and appreciated the work she has done with my son, but unfortunately if she employs people like Lisa at the front desk, (which is usually where you would want your most friendly, welcoming employees), we cannot continue to come there anymore. We have decided to move on to another dentist...whom I called and spoke to the nicest, sweetest welcoming and accommodating lady. today! First impressions should be the best impressions!!

I have only been here one time…read more I get here and the front waiting lobby was nice. Had a nice spot for the kids to play. Seemed clean. I made the appointment for 8:30 in the morning thinking they couldn't possibly be backed up right after they open. I didn't get out of there until almost 11:00. The back area was dimly lit. The paintings on the wall were nice, but too much. It made it dark and dreary. We sat in the cubicle (whatever you want to call it) for 35 minutes before anyone said a word to us. 35 minutes waiting with a terrified toddler while 2 assistants were in the next one over having personal conversation and playing on their phones and another just leaning up against a wall playing on hers. The assistant was friendly. She came in and brushed his teeth, but to be honest, it wasn't even good. It was like a skim over and pretty pointless. I brush his teeth better at home. But, at least she was friendly because by the time she got in there, I was standing up and gathering coats to walk out and take the loss. We waited another 15 for the dentist. She comes in, glances at his teeth, gives us a quick suggestion and leaves. Maybe said 3 sentences. She wasn't personable at all. Did nothing to ease his fears. I ended up taking him elsewhere and LOVING the new place and so does my son. A friend brings her daughter here and said she is always scared and she has to hold her down and needs laughing gas. Took her to the other place I suggested and she does just fine. Maybe it's the decor. I don't know, but I'll be canceling his future appointment and taking him elsewhere from now on.

From fillings, to cleanings, to long term care advice, I just cannot say enough great things about the staff here! Laura the secretary, is so sweet, sufficient & accommodating, ALL of the hygienists are super kind, knowledgeable, patient, thorough & personable. They were so patient with my son who was a bit nervous & uncomfortable during his cleaning visit. Terry, the hygienist, explained everything every step of the way to ease his fears & even offered to have him hold the suction which took his mind off things. She was so very sweet & took her time with him. I really love how well she cleaned his teeth & that she didn't seem annoyed by his behavior at all. My son was so excited & proud of himself after he finished. We love Dr. Meyers' contagious laugh & everyone's personality is really pleasant & welcoming.
