We had an emergency with my daughter yesterday, we were at the emergency room for a kidney infection. We call the office to inform them that she was not up to coming due to just getting out of the hospital. They are going to charge a cancellation fee because we did not inform them 48 hours in advance. I was pissed. Our daughter was sick and how am I supposed to know that we were going to end up at the hospital. I was yelling at them because this was not right. They had charged us every cancellation fee since February because our daughter got sick. Most doctor offices have a 24 hour cancellation policy not 48 hours. One pissed off costumer. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone. read more

I was referres here by a current patient. I was able to get an appt very quickly being a new patient. This office and the staff are pleasant. The atmosphere and all was vibing. I was very apprehensive coming to a new practice after about 15 years at my previous until they stopped taking my dental insurance this year. I had my new patient visit with the Dr. and that was pleasant. My next appt was with the Hygientist. What a surprise. My Hygientist was Nicole....my long lost Hygientist that switches practices and we were reconnected. My anxiety was quelled and they have gained another long term patient. Most people, not all don't look forward to going to a dentist. When I had a dental emergency Dr. Nevid was assigned to me and saw me over a holiday. I am so happy that it worked out that way. I needed a lot of work. She has a wonderful bedside manner and listens to your concerns. She does great work as well. I can honestly say I love her. I don't mind going to the dentist anymore. I showed up to my appt that I had received numerous text reminders about all of which I replied that I was coming and the girl at the front desk proceeds to tells me that the person I had my appointment with was no longer with the practice and unfortunately, I couldn't be seen today. So, I just took a day off from work and drove 40 minutes to an appointment with someone that was no longer with the practice. Does no one check the text responses to the appointment confirmation texts they send? The last appointment I had they wanted to charge me $80 to file a small rough spot on my tooth and thought that was absolutely ridiculous, but thought I would give them a second chance. This practice has really gone downhill over the past couple years. Two of the dentist that I saw and loved, both are no longer there. I guess I'll be looking for a new dentist! read more

On Feb 19 I went to Honeygo Village Dentistry for a crown on a moler. Dr Melissa Nevid did the procedure. The next day I couldnt feel half of my tongue. Dr Melissa Nevid told me that its rare but should be fine in a few days. Fast forward to today and I still cant feel half of my tongue. The head of the practice told me it happens no big deal and left it at that. Now i have to pay out of pocket to go to UMD to get tests done and hopefully surgery to repair the damaged nerve. I called this office to have a consultation. I am well aware of the work I need done and simply wanted to speak to a dentist about scheduling the work after Christmas. From the time I entered the area the doctor would see me I was informed several times about the $400.00+ for two cleaning and X-rays. I informed the dentist I already have X-rays and I'm not interested in paying for more. I explained to him I am here for a consultation to create a treatment plan. That should not cost money. He tried to pressure me to contact care credit through their office, told me he likes to collect the copay before making a consultation. Listen to me, we are in a world where everything is too expensive and I'm not just handing over 400.00 to pay for a free consultation. I've never in my life had a dentist pressure me as much as this fool did about getting me to sign up for his in house discount program. I found the dentist to be a greedy, tone deaf individual who doesn't know how to read a room and provide proper care. In no world do you pay for a consultation and trying to scam people out of their money to just consult is in appropriate unprofessional and y'all have absolutely no idea who I am. However I can promise you that your office will never be patronized by me again. Just do better. This is a office that only cares about money and not the better well being of the patient. His license should hands down be revoked and I am reporting the company to the board of dentistry. To the response below.... A reply was not necessary. I have never heard of a dentist who charges for a consultation. A good non money hungry dentist would have taken the X-rays and either waived them due to me choosing you for my work or applied them to the total due. most dentists use X-ray machines as investments to secure future patients. I would have been spending upwards of $10,000 in repairs to my teeth. Now your company will get zero because of that pompous dentist I had to endure. I have already invested 40,000 into implants. I would never allow a vulture to perform my work! Learn better business. A bunch of crooks. They keeps adding charges and padding your bill which the insurance will not pay and then sending you a bill. Not only did that happen once but twice within a year. I have been going here for over 5 years and bearing all the bad service I get but this time I have enough. I would NOT RECOMMEND no one to go there. Also Amir Sarlak is is An ABSOLUTE ASSHOLE. Girl at the front desk has no clue what shes doing, called 6/26 to make an appointment for a chipped tooth, showed up today for my 10 oclock appointment that I had scheduled over the phone and they had no record of it, no "were so sorry" "we can squeeze you in" nothing. So she tries to make another appointment for me on a Monday the following week, before she could finish another woman walks over and tells me to take a business card so my previous dentist can send over my most recent Xrays, I told her this is my dentist ive been coming here for five years, my last x ray was done here, she goes oh your right, I walked out wont be back! read more

I called Honeygo Dentistry a few weeks ago because I think I have a cavity and I needed a cleaning. I asked if they accepted my insurance plan. The woman said she thought so but was not sure. I had to schedule the appointment and give her all my information in order for them to check my insurance. This seemed backwards to me. She assured me they would check the status of the insurance right away. This did not happen and weeks later, I got a message they didn't take my insurance. When I asked to speak to the office manager about my frustration, she was apathetic if not rude and said sorry but we followed our protocol, then said they did not follow protocol and then said we have many other happy patients. They were aware I had a serious issue that needed attention ASAP. Poor office staff and medical care. read more

I switched to this office recently and had my first appointment on 1/6/20. The office is conveniently located near work for me, and it's impeccably clean and pretty modern. You enter all of your new PT info / sign consents, etc on an iPad which is much better than handwriting a million forms. The woman at the front desk was really nice and friendly. The tech who took me back (I think her name was Ashley) was really sweet and made conversation with me so I felt comfortable. The dentist (Dr. Sarlak) was also nice. Unfortunately I did have to wait a bit for the hygienist to be ready, maybe about 30-40 minutes after Dr. Sarlak was done examining me. But the hygienist was very thorough and explained things to me very well, so overall it was a great appointment. read more

First experience here was REALLY sketchy. I called to make an appointment for fixing a filling. I needed a cleaning as well, so I was promised I was double booked to handle both the same day as a new patient. I had my dental x-rays transferred. I get to the office and the first thing that happens is an exam by the dentist, no cleaning. Things were in reverse to every dentist appointment I have ever had and I asked when I would be starting the cleaning. They informed me I was at the new patient exam and there was no available appointments for cleaning, they were only doing x-rays and exam today. I had to reiterate around 3-4 times I had my x-rays sent to the dentist. My previous dentist had to send the x-ray information multiple times and I confirmed BEFORE the appointment that they were received via a phone call. They really were pushing to do x-rays again, which seemed to be more about money. Red flag one. I had to schedule 2 additional follow up appointments for cleaning AND the filling. They could not accommodate on the same day. I was frustrated, but it was what it was. I do not know of a single dentist that does an exam before a cleaning and reschedules you for a cleaning. Red flag two. During the process of signing all dental forms, I OPTED OUT OF PPE disclosure. There was a box to check if you authorized the dentistry to charge for PPE. I DID NOT. I read BAD REVIEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THIS POLICY. I asked for an itemized bill every time I left the practice and was asked to pay, to ensure I was not charged for the PPE. I received a letter from my insurance company explaining my benefits showing they charged the insurance company and the charge was denied. This seems REALLY backwards and unethical, as others have complained about the exact same practice. I DID NOT CONSENT TO THIS. Once I received a bill from the dentist office DIRECTLY, I called and spoke with dentist staff. I explained the situation and she said "no worries, you can disregard that and have a great day!" No argument, no worries, just washed it off as a billing error. I am now getting a collection calls from their office. The most recent was this Saturday. When you call their office back on Saturday, it says their office is closed, so I can't explain to them that it was already deemed a billing error. After looking at the amount of money the dentistry has charged for a few fillings and cleaning between myself and my insurance, this is ridiculous behavior. I was due back for two more fillings soon, but was told I would need to "prepay for the fillings" due to the appointment beings scheduled for an hour. I have never once carried a balance (except my insurance denying their $10 PPE charge) and have always paid same day prior. Have you ever prepaid for a filling when your account was in good standing? How many red flags does it take? Please stop bill collection calls about PPE that I did not consent to and that I told to "disregard" by your office staff. read more

Scheduled appointment after location was recommended to me by my sister. The facility exceeded my expectations. Aside from being a clean, well organized, thoughtfully designed (semi private rooms with TV's above treatment chairs!) locations- everyone was top notch in their service and welcome. Great emergency dental analysis and treatment plan by Dr. Llera. Very professional, kind, polite and knowledgable. Didn't feel like I was 'over prescribed'- and comfortable with the course of action prescribed to remediate my dental issues, and preventive care going forth. The reception staff was also very lovely, with the Medical Insurance coordinator being a true standout- this lady knows her stuff! After years of mediocre and subpar dental care- I am looking forward to esthablishing a long term relationship with this new practice right in my backyard. I have now learned that, in spite of assuring us they accept our insurance (AETNA), they do NOT accept our insurance. My wife and I had visits and ended up paying $93 out of pocket in addition to our $50 deductible. They charged $25.00 in COVID Surcharges without ever disclosing it up front. They claimed the charge was a "Co-Pay". We don't have any such co-pays for this service Additionally, instead of using a filling that is allowed under our plan, they used a different material that cost an additional $68.00 which is not covered under our plan. Once again, they did this without any up front disclosure or warning. There are 20 other Dentists in a 10 mile radius, and I am sure these other Dentists will discuss treatment and costs up front. They have lost 2 new patient as we will not be returning. read more

This is a nice dental office. The staff and dentists are nice and professional. Dr. Feit could use a lesson in bed side manners, whom I no longer see. Modern facility with clean patient rooms. Parking is a bit scarce because of the daycare and other offices. The kid's play area is about the size of my pantry or guest closet...lol! That's why the photo was taken on that off angle. There is a small television and a few toys and books, as well. Have your insurance verified prior to your visit. Even routine procedures run into the hundreds of dollars. I received a rather large bill for services that presumably were covered. NOT! So, patients beware. They accept no responsibility for prior authorizations. Also, their prices for cosmetic and routine procedures are somewhat higher than other dentists in the area...whitening and orthodontics. I don't like billing issues like this and find it annoying to my bank account. I may not return because I will always wonder how much is this going to cost after the fact. read more

The staff is rude. I have been to them several times and some of the staff members do good work but my last visit with them, I was given horrible customer service. The dentist kept calling me "girl" which is extremely disrespectful and when I tried to explain to him the trouble I was having with my teeth he was not understanding and offered no solutions to the problem. I was asked to submit a survey about my experience and I was honest about the poor customer service. In response to my survey I received an extremely hostile response from a representative in the company, written in all caps pretty much trying to defend the staff and prove me wrong. I LOVE this place! I have been going there for a couple of years and my normal dentist is Dr. Nesbit....he is fantastic! I originally went in for some tooth pain and had to have a root canal. I was terrified because I have hear horror stories about the pain involved with them and because I was told I would just be numbed up. I needn't have worried....it was painless! I could not believe it! Of course, I felt a little pressure, but that was it. I was totally relaxed the entire time. So I chose to go back to them to have upper dentures made. Again, the thought of having all of my upper teeth pulled while awake, was terrifying. But again, no pain! Dr. Nesbit is great at making sure his patient does not feel anything. If you do, you just need to let him know. He and the hygienist (I cannot remember her name...she is awesome, too). Dr. N took the time to call me the evening after I had my teeth extracted to check on me as well. I really cannot say enough about this office and the people there! From the wonderful ladies at the front desk to the hygienists and doctors....they are all phenomenal! I will never go anywhere else and I recommend them to all of my friends and family! read more

Don't come here. At first, it seems all well. After paying the large sum of money to have the procedures done, the true nature of this practice reveals itself. (1) The ladies at the service desk lack any remote sense of compassion; these ladies were almost YELLING at me when asking about my service. They refused to aid me in any way in my issues and had such a cold response to my questions. One of the desk ladies was lying to me and trying to tell me that I paid less than I did for my procedure??? I know how much I paid. I had called 3-4 times but was handed to a different lady every time, but when I came in to address the issue firsthand, they teamed up on me and were almost fighting me. Very unprofessional. Don't come here; way cheaper services elsewhere! (2) The issue to be fixed was a FIVE MINUTE FIX! They were saying I'd have to get an appointment a month out, pay $100 for an exam, and then get QUOTED for the fix.. I went to another dentist who fixed the issue for me FOR FREE in two days. Insane. (3) Their appointments always are so spaced out. Always have to wait 6 weeks to get my next appointment. In the end, save yourself the headache and the money and go elsewhere. read more

Called for a next day appointment and was told specifically they had an opening at 4:30 pm. So I scheduled with my boss to leave early the following day. When I got there they told me my appointment was for 10:30 am in the morning. They stated they were booked. No shit. Apparently overbooked. I know what I heard over the phone and I was there the time that was given to me. It is not my fault your staff didn't correctly book the appointment and the fact the I took off work for the appointment really pisses me off. I didn't even get an apology. I have been coming to Honeygo Village Dentistry for over a little over two years. I found this dental office after doing extensive research. I've never had major issues with my teeth-just a cavity here and there. I had a bad experience with a dentist in Towson and I was very grateful to find this dental practice. Honeygo is quiet, clean, and private. Each suite outfitted with a chair for your personal belongings and a flat screen tv for your viewing. The staff is friendly, especially Becky-my regular dental hygienist. I have only had one bad experience here, I had a I have a cavity filled about a year and a half ago and the dentist hit a blood vessel in my mouth while injecting the Novocaine. My cheek and jaw swelled up quite painfully and I had to leave work without pay because I was so uncomfortable. I called Honeygo immediately and they asked me to come in that afternoon. I didn't appreciate the response to my pain. I was prescribed a light pain killer and basically told to just sleep it off. The dentist seemed almost annoyed by my presence and I didn't receive a single apology. Even after the above incident, I continue to come to Honeygo Village Dentistry, as I believe the service I receive is some of the best in the area. I do have to say that they have lost a bit of my trust and I will probably remain nervous about getting fillings for the rest of my life, but the dentists here keep me encouraged about the care that I am receiving. read more

The dentists and hygienists here are GREAT!!! The dentist I saw (i think it was DR. Feit? found a cavity that another dentist missed, and the tooth had been hurting but the other dentist dismissed it as sensitivity. That being said, their front end service is terrible. Most of the receptionists are nice, but here is what I saw: -A receptionist badmouthing a patient for cancelling an appointment. They were talking about him by name when I was standing right there in front of them, saying he was a lying about having called earlier, and they continued to laugh about and badmouth him. -Receptionist scheduled me for an appointment, then changed it because she made a mistake, which put my appointment back a few weeks. -They take a very relaxed attitude toward your money. They take the "charge whatever now and ask insurance later approach". They will overcharge you, then after a few months mail back a refund for what they overcharged you IF YOU CATCH IT. I have a feeling that they may or may not refund you all of your money if you overpaid, I know that getting back my over payment has taken several months of going back and forth with them and arguing despite the insurance company telling me that what they are doing is bordering on fraud (my insurance company rep. actually said that!). read more

I am new to the area and get very anxious at dentists, especially when I have to have anything but a regular cleaning done. I found this place through Yelp and driving by it all the time. It's very close to my home so convenience is awesome. I broke a back molar and knew I couldn't put it off anymore. I came in for my initial appointment with Dr. Young. Let me say, he was very informative, patient and pleasant. I had a million questions and he answered them all and never seemed annoyed or anything. I truly felt like he was being honest about what I needed. A lot of dentists will try and come up with a lot of stuff they say you need to make money. He did not do this. I came back today for my cleaning with Becky and had a great appointment. She was super nice and did my cleaning with no problems. Honestly best cleaning I have ever had. She also was very patient and pleasant. This practice seems to do a great job. I have two more appointments coming up for my crown. I will come back and update. Don't hesitate to come here. I am thinking of moving my kids from their pediatric dentist to here. That's how happy I am. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Feit since I was a teenager, through three office locations including Honeygo. He's always been professional, friendly and kind, and I'll always remember and appreciate how well he treated my elderly mother the last time she was there, a few years before her death. The business, which is much larger now, had also benefited from the stability of office manager Maryanne, who is a total sweetheart. Dental assistant Becky is also excellent, and my tooth cleaner of choice when I make appointments. It's going to be a sad day for me when Dr. Feit retires! read more

I have to laugh as I read through some of these bad reviews; you truly must be catching the staff on an extremely bad day. I have been visiting HVD for over 5 years. I was one of those typical people that were terrified of the dentist, and in fact, hadn't been to the dentist in years. I remember going for the first time and being greeted by a cheery staff, and still am being treated that way to this day. I have had teeth pulled, cavities filled, regular cleanings, and I'm going through Invisalign at the moment so I'm there quite a bit. I even switched my children from their pediatric dentist over to this office and they love it there; they can't believe how nice the 'lady who cleaned their teeth' was to them.
