The driver, knowing we were from out of town, called a friends in Luling, TX that had a tire store, The owner opened his shop for us and replaced my tires because they were all old and I didn't want to take a chance of another blowout. I was back on the road a few hours later. I was amazed and thankful to the D&T driver for his diligence and to Smiley's Tire store.

We called 5 or 6 different places before calling Tristens Towing and everyone had a 2-4 hour wait. Tristens Towing answered after 2 rings and told my husband it would be 45 minutes and the price was a lot less than what all the others were charging on top of it all. And they hooked up and were on the way to my house within 5 minutes of them getting to us! Definitely will use them again if I ever need a tow, crossing my fingers I won't need a tow truck for a while if not ever but they will be my first and only call for sure!! In Austin? Really? I gave up and got on Yelp searching for a towing company. Henry's was ranked number one and I totally agree. He arrived within 5 minutes to load my car and take it to the repair shop I found. He was as upset as I that I had waited 3 hours with no service from AAA. I have a neurological disease and had my service dog with me as well. Henry knows people, and made calls as we drove to the repair shop. Within 10 minutes he had arranged for AAA to pay his towing fee for me. There are few honest men who do business the old fashioned way with integrity, empathy and where their word is their bond. One of the owners, Tito, was exceptionally kind and patient and provided some comforting words to my wife and to me. Our experience was the opposite of what you might expect from an impound lot and towing service. A-Tex has good people who do a good (and necessary) job at a fair price.
