Delicious burgers, decent prices! Burger and fry's had really yummy flavor! We got our food to go. When I got home I noticed the kept all the toppings in a separate container from the hamburger so it doesn't get soggy, totally loved that they did that! The sodas are off brand and not so good so I'd probably suggest getting a different beverage. Will definitely be back for the burgers and Fry's! read more

The bride and I were ijn the area so we tried Grump's. I had a bacon cheeseburger and she had a BBQ bcb. We shared an order of swt potato fries. Our bill was $24+. (I left a $5 tip since I did 75% of the work at the register...) The burgers were cooked well-done and dry, and they were small for the price. They swt potato fries were very good- crispy and hot. Overall, we were not overtly impressed but went on a few recommendations to try Grump's, since we eat a good deal of hamburgers. We probably won't frequent the establishment. read more

Not bad, ha drew bacon cheeseburger, fried pickles, jalapeño and onion rings. Onion rings were spot on as were the jalapeño, the pickles on the other hand, had a batter that reminded me of a fish fry or okra batter. Inside is decorated pretty nostalgic. I like the Bob's Big Boy statue. read more

Pretty good spot for a good, simple burger. Chip platter is really good comes with Ranch, Salsa and Queso with home made chips. Burgers are always good, fried pickles and Jalepenos are very good. Fries and onion rings are really good as well. I give this place four stars instead of five due to the inconsistency. Chips are great and hard to beat when you get them fresh and crispy. Four trips here has produced different results each time. Soggy, greasy cold chips ruin your experience when you get a lot of them. The salsa tastes like Pace jarred sauce but they will happily substitute extra queso or ranch which is cool. The ranch is Really good. The queso tonight was a bit cold and had huge clumps of unmelted cheese in both of our cups. They do however make things right if you bring it up to them, without complaints and always with smiles so that great. The sodas are great if your don't care about sugar because the Dublin line of sweetened sodas are awesome. However, the Dublin diet soda is awful and all they offer besides tea and I don't drink that so I bring my own Diet Coke! Their commitment is evident and it shows in the taste of the food so we will continue to visit because of it. read more

What are you thinking??? Yesterday we got 2 cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings. First, your meat is too thick. Something between Mc Donald's and what you have is the most appealing. But the worst thing is that you do not put any dressing on the bun at all. Then, to make it all very much worse, you put some shredded lettuce, sliced tiny tomatoes and a couple of pickles in a dish for us to try to put on. Why can't you get large firm tomatoes and slice them so they across most of the bun. Have you even tried to put that on a burger and take even one bite before all those little pieces fall out? There was some kind of dressing in a little cup, but that would not be easy to put on either. The only thing done right, is that you used iceberg lettuce and not that horrible romaine. Can't imagine anyone ever wanting to come in a second time and that includes us. read more

When I received my order and asked for a refund, I was told by the same cashier " we don't do fried chicken so I would never say that". First time @ Grumps, never heard of the chain. Hubby picked up service was fast and courteous. I got the Mushroom and Swiss and Onion rings, Burger was thick, hot, moist and tasty, meat well seasoned w/ a good amount of button mushrooms and melted Swiss, good amount of lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and red onion on the side. The Onion rings were hot, crisp and tasty. His Guacamole burger had a good amount of fresh tasting guacamole and he enjoyed it. We look forward to eating in for even crispier Rings. Everything was hot and tasty. Prices were reasonable for the food and beer. Ordered the chili cheeseburger and the gf got the mushroom Swiss. Also tried the corn nuggets and the sweet potato fries. I'd say this is one of the better places in town to grab a burger and a drink. read more

Grumps is about as classy and respectful as it gets. When I am hungry for a hamburger I know exactly where to go. I know when I walk in to grumps they are going to treat me with the upmost respect and on top of that, getting a good burger is always a plus. Even during this pandemic, they have gone out of their way to make sure the customers safety comes first. I will forever be coming to grumps for my hamburgers! And on top of that, the manager Sara, is one of the nicest and most personable people. Every time I've come in, she's made it to come by the table and make sure the food is the way it should be. Terrible place. This was our first time there and literally walked and none of the staff looked interested in doing there job. The cooks in the back did nothing but joke loudly and BS. One of the cooks then acted like he was hawking a ball of spit in our food and yells out order up after. The coke machine was nearly broke and had no ice. No sweet tea and then the Waitress called out our order and as she gets to us she drops some of our onion rings on the floor not even offering to replace the half ass order. A great burger place. I'm in there about 2-3 times a month. ( Abilene location ) Like your burger med-rare...? Ask for it. That's what you'll get.... or they will remake it. Want some crazy combo burger not mentioned on the menu board..? Tell em..! They will make it. The burgers are always juicy, in fact, if you don't dig in soon after it is brought to your table, the juices from the burger will soon be attacking the bun. This is a problem I have been searching for.......! Anyone else looking for a tasty juicy burger...? This is it. There are a couple of other burger places I visit that I really like, but when asked for a pink in the middle burger, they say no, we can't do that.. So I order something else that they offer that is really good. With Grumps, I already know it is going to be a BURGER...! In fact I could not tell you what other offerings Grumps offers. BURGERS,....The way I want it...! Cooked the way I want it..! I have been to several Grumps located in various locations. The décor is different in all of them. The food,........................ is great at all of them. In fact, at the Granbury location, you will wait in line, not because they are slow, but because the people keep pouring in.... We decided to give this place a try today and we were pretty impressed. The food was delicious, my only complaint is the fact that you can see right back to the kitchen. We were waiting in line and could see one of the cooks entire boxers! His pants were so sagged that his whole butt was out.. I understand people can dress how they feel comfortable however, when you're working in the food industry I feel that is very inappropriate. The manager should require pants to be PULLED UP & maybe even a BELT. read more
