There very affordable compared to other plumbers & their work is good. The 3 times I called it was an emergency & all 3 times they get to me right away even on a Saturday. I found him on Thumbtack and, desperate due to a main water line leak that shut down water to my entire house, I hired him on 6/15/25. Big mistake. He is unlicensed, which I didn't realize until it was too late. He was responsive at first and came out right away, but the quality of work is completely unacceptable. Instead of repairing the broken pipe directly, he insisted on rerunning the main line. He trenched down the dirt section of my driveway, cut through my front walkway, and installed a copper line with a final connection that looks absolutely awful. To make matters worse, my irrigation system and pool are now disconnected from water -- issues that never existed before he touched the job. Since then, I've been calling and texting every day to get him to return and fix the problems he caused. Instead of taking responsibility, he continues to no-show me, make excuses, and demand more money. At this point, I now have to hire a real plumber to undo and repair his mess, leaving me worse off than before. Save yourself the headache -- confirm licenses and avoid people like this. Jiovanni Ortiz and Sun Diego Plumbing are unprofessional, unlicensed, and leave customers stranded with unfinished and faulty work.
