It doesn't dismiss our bad experiences here even though mostly out of the owners/ coach's control. my daughter enrolled into the gold xcel program last summer as a 10 year old. I gave her a text/ call only phone for emergencies to bring to class. A group of girls on the team( 2 and 3 grades OLDER than her!)asked for her number and harassed her over days via text. My daughter was nothing but kind. She was also harassed enrire classes by same girls in person. I screenshoted the texts to send to coach/owner so it was undeniable. Gym had a meeting with the girls families and I was apologized too. Coach said the harassment was jealousy of skills. My daughter broke both bones in her arm very badly during a practice while doing a flip off bar. I met ambulance there and was told by my daughter and another student my daughter landed the flip on her feet and arm hitting bar was cause of break. You sign a waiver and assume risks when doing gymnastics so I did not blame coaches/gym and was kind. I kindly emailed Olympia after incident asking any coach input how my daughter broke her arm so that if she returns to gymnastics she could learn from mistake and not repeat it. Almost 2 WEEKS later , a coach called me and said she saw my daughter fall and she broke arm on ground. I told coach it doesn't really matter but since my daughter's story did not match is there video they could review? Coach told me the " No. No video evidence. cameras don't reach to the back of the gym where the bars are" So I was lied to or they don't have cameras in the back of the gym which is a safety risk on many levels to me.

Only after taking my money did they inform me (eight hours later) that her class time would be changing the next week. The new time didn't work for us, and the only alternatives were on completely different days. When I asked for options, the so-called manager called back and gave me two days to use the makeup classes or lose them. Two days, for classes I already paid for. When I asked for a little grace since I had just found out about the change, she refused and condescendingly reminded me that she "didn't have to" refund me for July, a payment I had made less than 24 hours earlier before being told about the schedule change. Meanwhile, my husband took our daughter to class the same day we were told about the change, and no one said a word to him in person. I paid $250 for two classes, got zero flexibility, and was made to feel like I should be grateful for a partial refund they never should have taken in the first place. They clearly care more about squeezing every dollar out of parents than providing good communication or customer service. Completely unprofessional and borderline scammy. Beware. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE: Your response is a perfect example of the problem. You claim to "do your best," but the facts tell a different story. You asked for payment before disclosing a major schedule change, then gave us just two days to use makeup tokens for classes we had already paid for, all while refusing any flexibility when I requested a simple extension. Offering a refund after collecting money under false pretenses is not a favor, it is damage control. You also did not offer to save the makeup tokens for future use. I specifically asked for that and was told no. And no one mentioned a word to my husband in person during the next class, which shows how poorly communication is handled across your team. Parents deserve transparency and respect, not excuses after the fact. I paid $250 for two classes, received no real options, and was treated like I should be grateful just to not lose more money. This experience was not just disappointing, it felt exploitative.

This location, Troy Gymnastics 3 is right next to Troy Gymnastics 4, their swim school. In addition to being a full Gymnastic facility, Troy Gym 3 also has an Indoor Ropes Course. Ropes Courses have been the fastest expanding business in the last few years and is continuing to gain traction especially with the younger kids. It's a great way to get in some physical activity and social distance at the same time so it's COVID friendly. Like most other active indoor center a waiver needs to be signed, and for this indoor ropes course, participants need to have a reach of 54 inches, so kids as young as 8 can participate (average height of girls at age 8 is about 47 inches). If you have even younger ones, they can participate in the Munchkins Ropes Course at TG4. Their website states that the IRC@TC3 is open on Saturday's only from 16:00 - 20:00, but this may be COVID hours. Bookings can only be made via online reservation. Email communication is very good, and we received a response within one business day despite the site stating that responses are 1-3 business days. Bookings for the IRC need to be made 2-7 days in advance. Pricing and times vary. In a nutshell, weekday climbs are $12/hour and weekend climbs are $15/hour. The facility is 42,000 sq. ft. and there is an area upstairs overlooking the gym floor for parents and guardians as well as lockers and restrooms. There is no food or drink available for purchase. Tip: Sometimes there are deals on Groupon, but those deals come with restrictions. Read the fine print carefully before purchasing. When we reached out to them online we asked for a deal rather than going through Groupon and they accommodated provided we had a minimum party of 4. While we already had four, it was a good deal so told some friends. In the end it was a win-win for all. We got a deal on the price, and business for them went from 4 to 15! Since it was indoor, and a ropes course can get most to work up quite a sweat, I recommend you dress in something comfortable and light. Avoid loose and baggy clothing and make sure your wear a comfortable pair of shoes (tennis or cross training shoes). Also bring a water bottle and make sure it's full, you'll need it afterwards! No experience is needed and it's 100% safe. Before you venture out onto the course, they train you on how to safely navigate the double locking harnesses on a miniature build. There are also several checkpoints throughout the course where you can respectfully end, start, or resume your journey should you need a break. But if you can complete the entire course in one fell swoop, you'll earn bragging rights and will get the opportunity to leave your mark on the miniature training build for all others to see. We were lucky today, the Gymnastics floor was closed so we had the entire place pretty much to ourselves and I was able to get some nice pics and videos of the kids. Overall, it was a great experience. We've done TreeRunner Adventure Park last year at OU, which was an outdoor ropes course, and this was our first indoor one. It was much warmer being inside, but just as exhausting. They did have a zip line, but it wasn't really a zip line. The line travels from A to B, but then you kind of swing back and forth like a pendulum and eventually end up resting in the middle of the line. Still a great activity and fun for all. If you've never been, I recommend you try this at least once. 4 stars. Almost forgot, masks are required at all times. My daughter informed me that during her entire pregnancy last year she had to stand during 1 1/2 hours of her daughters' classes. I asked the desk why they were allowing all these parents to stand while they all had chairs and she said that they stopped the chairs. She stated that "you always have the option to drop off your kids". Noting that the employee had her toddler at work with her and that after using Freespoke it stated that 460,000 children disappear each year in the US, I asked her what protection (locked door, safety precautions?) they had in place for us to drop off our 5 year old and 8 year old unattended in a busy center. Her child isn't even left at home with a sitter and she had no reply. It is disrespectful and inconsiderate with their "take it or leave it attitude". Especially since the employees were ALL utilizing chairs at the desk. There is no reason they couldn't put stackable chairs (that they had previously) available with the request for parents to put the chairs back when done. They aren't the only game in town and my daughter has plans to switch places soon. Disrespect!

It's been two years with terrible communication from their end. Terrible policies, even worse customer service. High turn over and terrible attitudes. Its been two years and they still will not give me my money back. Go somewhere else, the sterling heights location is awful and their operations manager is insulting. Party room was a bit smaller but enough for our party of 13, room was colorful and had a huge "Happy Birthday" sign on the wall which made the room more festive. Most of all, Marlena who was our coach was so attentive, efficient and very easy to communicate with. She made everything fun for our kids and also was spot on with serving and cleaning up.
