Facility was under renovation when we attended, smelled awful, bathrooms constantly closed...which is probably why they wont refund your money, but they do have a new policy where they will "almost always" give you a credit. My daughters were in classes for a year and could not return due to a medical condition. They put my money into a credit, had their teenage receptionist call and hang up on me because I wanted to speak to a manager and still would not refund my money. It's been two years with terrible communication from their end. Terrible policies, even worse customer service. High turn over and terrible attitudes. Its been two years and they still will not give me my money back. Go somewhere else, the sterling heights location is awful and their operations manager is insulting. I had a partyof 10. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 27th birthday. The ambience was very good. The Dj, Mike Clark was on point. I need his playlist . The hostess was not only beautiful, but very personable. Our server, Bryce was top-tier. The only complaint would be, it took a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. If you are a parent of a child with disabilities, I would not recommend SGA We were members for over a year with our special needs 4 year old (ASD). In that time, the free play hour was taken away from programming & my child was continuously held back in the much younger 2-3 year old parent tot class, which had no make ups available & often didn't have enough stations for each child to have one- which meant chasing my child around the gym while the abled children participated. In that time, I needed a knee replacement surgery & SGA refused to move my daughter up to her own age classes. We hired a nanny to continue bringing my child weekly to the parent tot 2-3 year old class (because again, that was the only class SGA would allow our child to participate in). We requested to move my ASD child to her own age appropriate class if our nanny continued to participate with her, which was also denied. We continued to try to find solutions on our own with out SGA's help because as an ASD child, gymnastics is important for emotional regulation. We ended up with over 25 makeups & no availability for her to make them up at all. The ONLY class SGA would allow our ASD child to participate in were waitlisted only at all locations. I made endless phone calls speaking to multiple people at the facility expressing these concerns & issues, which were never taken seriously & continuously told "wait a new location will open & this will resolve" which it did not. Phone calls were rarely returned, I was shuffled around to different people & in the end after having over $500 of makeup classes that we were given no options to make up & no one was offering solutions, we canceled online. I left a very long message relaying all of this information in our exit online & never received any messages reaching out to attempt to resolve in any way. This gym is a scam, they made zero effort to help create a resolution for our special needs daughter & that is very disappointing that a gym program would be ableist after many chances in a year to rectify the situation. Our daughter really liked her instructor so it's very unfortunate that the SGA was discriminatory to our child with unseen disability of ASD. There is a huge population of children with unseen disability who benefit from gym play & SGA's practices unfortunately leave no room for that even with multiple months of discussions trying to give them the opportunity to be more inclusive. read more

My family absolutely loves SGA! We started out at Sterling Heights but switched to their Madison Heights location because it was closer to our home. Friendly, helpful & polite staff. The facility is always extremely clean. Front desk always greets us as we enter & she ALWAYS asks my children how their class went, checks in with me that I'm satisfied, & always tells us to have a great week that they will see us next week. It's refreshing to be around such a positive upbeat staff during this time. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly & do a great job not just running their classes but interacting with every one of their students. They always touch base with me after class to let me know how my children did that day, give feedback (POLITELY) for anything my child may need to work on (listening, following directions etc) they get super excited & make such a huge deal outta every skill my kids master which makes it so much more meaningful & fun for the kids. Each week is a different theme which the kids love! They just had super hero week & honestly idk if the students or coaches had more fun, they were all so into it which upped every single students excitement. As I looked around all I seen were parents smiling & laughing at all the children smiling & enjoying themselves. *We just recently had a small birthday party there & the kids had an absolute blast! They were all excited & left all smiles! The coaches who worked the party, were great, asked my child what his favorite music was & played his "music" they created an obstacle course & catered to whatever each kid wanted to play or do so all the kids were engaged running around having a grand ol time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND SGA for Classes, Birthday Parties, Individual lessons etc. They are amazing! read more

Scheduled a birthday party at the Madison Heights location- party went okay but an invoice was given to me and paid. Upon further inspection I noticed I was charged incorrectly. I contacted them right away but did not receive a response for a week and a half. Once I was called back, the employee said, well we actually messed up the whole invoice and you only get a credit of $3 (instead of $30 something) and we will apply that to your account. Two things- my kids don't go to SGA so $3 in an account does me no good. Secondly, I asked the employee why that was my fault and to send me the corrections so I can see. I received nothing and I've reached back out to them with no response. Communication is horrible. read more
