I love this theater. They are the cheapest around! The theater and bathrooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. I've gone to two midnight opening night movies and they let us in the theater early so we can sit and talk with friends instead of making us stand in line outside like other theaters do. Best movie theater in Savannah! It's a little drive if you're not in Pooler, but definitely worth it. It's always clean- inside and outside of the theater. You can reserve tickets online or through their kiosks to avoid lines. Plus matinee is until 6pm. What I like most about the theater is the level of comfort. It feels like you are in the comfort of your own home watching a movie. The recliner seats take you there. You can prop your legs up and let the back down as well. I wouldn't suggest getting too comfortable as you may fall asleep during the movie and you don't want that. Also, you can never go wrong with getting some snacks at the concession stand. This is definitely my favorite movie theater in the Savannah area. I drive all the way from downtown out to Pooler just to come here. They have recently renovated, and they have new leather recliners that are so comfy! I always bring a blanket for the ultimate comfort experience. The lines can be really long during the weekend, so make sure you buy tickets online in advance. We tried to go to a matinee one weekend without buying tickets online only to find the movie was sold out. But when you reserve online you get to pick your seats, so you know you won't be sitting in the front row even if you're running late! read more

We all come here for the reclining seats we all enjoy the reclining seats. I've never judged I theater by this evening but I really do enjoy how I feel and I'm here.The lines are too long here because they also have a ticket machine. Free refills on large popcorn is always a winner. The bathrooms are clean so you won't have to step into pigsty when you want to use the facilities. I personally love this theater. It's super nice. They keep it clean and the seats are extremely comfortable. They are just perfect. Maybe I'm just from a place that doesn't have theaters like this but it's top notch. Prices are typical. Maybe a little pricier since it's a nicer theater. But you get what you pay for. Probably the worst movie theatre I've ever been to in my life. Dramatic? Maybe. There were 2 ticket kiosks to buy tickets, but one of them was out of order... So the line to buy tickets was about 15-20 people long. We decide to divide and conquer, I buy the food. My friend buys the tickets. The line for food wasn't bad. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. I get two sodas, a popcorn, and nachos. Spent $24. I'm handed two empty cups, an empty bag, and my nachos... odd. I'm directed to the areas to fill your popcorn and the soda machines. There's a short line for popcorn. *sighs* Fine, not a big deal. Soda machine area was a mess, but I manage to grab my Coke Zero just fine. The Coke was spitting out straight up soda water... annoying. Step over to next machine and VOILA, we have Coke. :) Meanwhile, friend finally gets to ticket kiosk. Uh oh, there's an issue. Seats are available for movies, but the machine isn't allowing you to select seats for any of the movies. Wtf?! At that point, we are super annoyed and figure it just wasn't meant to be. So we grab our $24 of movie food and head home. Yay. Thanks for an awesome Saturday night! *sarcasm* Management needs to have attendants fix the kiosks and monitor lines. OK any cinema that gets four stars on yelp has got to be bad ass. The only complaint that people have is the food. I'm not sure what type of overweight animal can't live without sour patches for two hours and enjoy a state of the art experience fully immersed in luxurious seating and an amazing technological experience. Naturally the cinema blows the others away. The amount of technology and amenities this place has it's good enough to bring the Queen of England let alone your date. I mean the chairs alone are amazing. I hear that each one cost like $10,000 or something ridiculous like that. And the technology they put into the sound system is just unbelievable. I did a tour where I could walk upstairs and see the sound and visual equipment and I couldn't understand half of it but it just looked amazing. Look don't even bother wasting your money someplace else especially the AMC theaters in Savannah. I went to one recently in Savannah and they had to send me out because the movie wouldn't even play. My date and I had to leave and find someplace else to go. Oh yeah in the bathrooms at the AMC were so dirty that I just decided to hold it, and I'm talking about number one. read more

While the seats are amazing, the front door is weird. There's one small door for everyone to enter and exit. I like being able to plan on a movie, pick the seats online, and pay online. There is a no refundable service fee for this option which I sadly thought was non refundable if one chooses not to see the movie and get a refund, because that is logical. NOPE. It is also non refundable if the popcorn machine catches fire causing every theater to evacuate. The manager today was extremely off-putting with zero affect. Definitely a weird experience. She needs courses in customer service. I don't say this because the convenience fee was not refunded, it's not going to make or break me, I say this because she acted as if it was an inconvenience to do the refund. This theater is the cleanest in the entire greater Savannah area! The bathrooms are well maintained. Their ticket booth and concession stand service is consistent and everyone is really nice. It is extremely difficult for my family to get me to go anywhere else. This was our favorite theater, bring 4 and 5 kids to the movies every week in the summer as well as many times all year. However, the customer service and just plain nastiness of the the kids working there has been enough to make us venture over to the Royal. I have enough attitude from my own teens, I don't need it when I just spent $90. for a matinee, with trash bagged, not fresh, popcorn, and a $4. 20oz coke. In town visiting and planned to catch the new Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish movie. For years, in Augusta there was only Regal. When GTC came with those reclining seats it changed the game. Shortly after Regal did an overhaul and added reclining seats. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. Regal seats are roomy but regular roomy. GTC seats are deluxe size roomier and like the upgrade recliner you'd buy if you . So I was expecting nothing less than that at this GTC in Savannah. I was not disappointed. I know the seats make mot folks want to snooze but not me. I love the experience of going to the movies so I don't get sleepy. GTC keeps their theaters a little chilly for my taste but not uncomfortable. Overall, it's a good and well maintained theater. Bonus is it is right at the outlet. You could literally make a day of just hanging out in Pooler if you eat breakfast, shop, catch a movie, eat a late lunch and shop some more. I'll definitely be back. read more

Great stadium seat theater. Easy to get in and out. Close to shopping and the airport so it makes a good pitstop. Especially if one on the pop-up showers happens and interrupts your shopping. Popcorn was a little stale as I think it was made earlier in the day. But overall, exactly what you would expect for a GTC theater. read more

I've been here numerous times. Overall, it is a good theater. I like it better than Royal because it is cleaner and the staff is friendlier. To tell you the truth, even if the staff is subpar, it would not bother me that much. It is just a movie theater. I am not looking to pay for the ambiance and the prices of the movies are fairly reasonable. Where they get you is when you pay for the concessions. That is not unique to them. That is every movie theater in America. The other advantage that Pooler Cinemas has over Royal is that the crowd is a little more cleaner cut. I own four nice cars. I own two 500 series Mercedes, an Infinity G37s and a Lincoln Town Car that I hardly drive. I can park at this theater anywhere and feel that my cars will be waiting for me when I get out from watching a movie. I don't have that same amount of confidence when I was at Royal. My only gripe with this place is sometimes the popcorn is stale. They really need to do a better job of keeping it fresh for the customers. Popcorn with your movie is a must have. The worst experience I've had in a long time.... My husband got home 2 days ago from a 6 month deployment, we had waited for awhile to see Top Gun. We bought lots of snacks and after 30 minutes of sitting in the theater we were assigned we went up to the front to tell them the movie wasn't working. They assured us they were fixing it. We went back in for about 15 minutes, then came back out asking for a refund. We were stared at and without a "I'm so sorry" or and explanation on why the movie wasn't starting or even just what was happening the manager came out and tapped on her computer and walked away for the associate to handle it all. She never introduced herself or said one work to us. The young man said "have a nice day" and we proceeded to ask how we were going to get our refund, and he clearly was confused bc the manager didn't help him at all (or is for that matter) he asked if cash was okay... which is fine. I'm soo taken a back by the manager at this movie theater. She was absolutely awful!! We will NOT be back!!! Don't know her name. She wasn't wearing a name tag nor did she introduce herself or say anything to us!! Whoever your manager working on Thursday August 18th at 12:30 is terrible, would really hope you reconsider your management team! Such a shame. read more

You can preorder your tickets online as well. There is assigned seating, which I've never had a problem with. The workers there are polite and helpful as well. This is a cool little theater. It's pretty big for a smaller town and it's set up in a way that lets everything and everyone flow straight through it. The staff were really nice and helpful. Best military discount ever at $8! Very clean building and amazingly nice staff. We arrived early just to have a few drinks in the bar. Yes, a bar in the movie theater! They offered very inexpensive beer and wine in a quiet restaurant style environment. I also saw that dinner theater was available and that sounds fun! For a Friday night movie, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't super crowded. That could've been because they had all concession stand cashiers ready to greet you and get you on your way. I will definitely be returning to this theater again and again! read more
