Don't love that the waiver doesn't transfer between locations. Added unnecessary time/waiting. The little and intermediate courses are pretty sub par. Intermediate course barely moves because of constant crashing, clueless driving and faulty equipment. Pretty disappointing for kids. Also not clear on which tracks that kids are actually eligible for. Besides those disappointments the place has a lot of fun options, good staff and clean. Still haven't tried the food. read more

It's an arcade without game cards. Imagine having a crying child on a rainy day being provoked by an arcade you can't pay for any of the games at. Well, Indy Kart brings that nightmare to life. Adding onto it, their website has photos of cool skeeball machines they (no longer?) have. It's the week between Christmas and New Years, all the resorts are sold out, and we come every year this time and it's always packed from Hilton Head to Bluffton. Guess the owners hate money and like seeing families with upset kids. read more

Great staff, helped with everything we needed and raced with my son when no one else was registered so that he had company. Adult carts are super fast and fun. 2 hr game card was perfect for keeping the little kids entertained. Super clean, looks like a fun place in the evening. read more

Brought our kids for a rainy day activity. The website says walk ins are welcome but this was 100% not true. We were quoted 1.5 hour wait but we're not notified that online bookings take priority. They sell food but more than half the options were sold out and half the arcade games were broken. You're not allowed to leave because if they call your name while you're gone, you'll lose your spot in line. So we waited with hungry bored kids for over 2 hours and watched as online booking after online booking bumped us in line. Finally gave up and walked out after 2.5 hrs. Went to Indy Karting with 2 children and the staff convinced us to pay for unlimited usage for 2 hours. After we paid for the 2 hours we discovered that 60% of the games did not work. We approached the front desk staff and requested that we receive 50% of our payment back as they had misrepresented the availability of their games. They refused. I requested to speak to the management and they refused again. DO NOT RECOMMEND spending any time or money in this place. read more

I loved their Indiekarts they supplied with food and drinks there arcade was good and there was a restaurant inside of it they also had axe throwing which I enjoyed and their track was good read more

We had a wonderful experience here. We did a race and then purchased 3 separate 20 dollar cards for the arcade. 1\2 the games were marked out of order and at least 3 we tried took our credits but didn't run. They made up for it by giving the teens another round of racing, complimentary. It definitely made up for it and we left all smiles. read more

It's fun but what isn't fun is the front desk bumping people down the line. We checked in at 12:25 for 2 races, 4 people and it's 1:45 and we haven't raced yet because the staff is bumping us down the list. Unacceptable. Every time we have people visit the island we bring them here. We've spent thousands here and the last 2 visits this has happened. It's a rip off to tell people in line the wait is 15 minutes, they pay, then get bumped down the list. May need to take this up with someone above the heads of the kids who work here. read more

First tip: skip it entirely if you value your time. Second tip: if you must go, book online ahead for holiday weekend. Third tip: if you do end up going, go early when the cars are fully charged. We pre-booked for the Sunday between Christmas and New Year. Filled out online waivers then arrived 30 min before our reservation time as required. Waited in 10 min check-in line only to be told we had to fill out the waivers again at their iPads; so we did that again. Went to check in at the track and were told they were running 45-60 min behind. Went to purchase an arcade pass for the child too young to race so we could play during that hour and the machine says to see the front desk. Go wait in line again and the worker leaves to service the ax throwing area. 7-10 min later she comes back and tells me I can't get an arcade pass because they are out of cards (!?!). Our drivers finally got to race their first race 70 min after the reservation time. During that race 2 of the cars died on the track and had to be swapped out so they didn't get to fully race. The 2nd (pre-booked) race started more than an hour after the 1st. That was 2 hours and 30 minutes after our reservation time. All in all we were there for 3 hours to race for 14 minutes. Do NOT recommend. read more

There's a wait to race, which is to be expected. It's a small track, packed on rainy days. That wouldn't be a big deal, but their arcade is too small, maybe 20 games with 5 broken. If they drop the cost on arcade games and scrap some restaurant to double the size, I'd rate this place 5 stars. read more

Was excited to check this place out ! We went during the day so it was actuslly pretty quiet . They go about 36 mph and they are electric . Its $23.95 for 12 laps and $42.00 for 24 labs but you can only go 12 laps at a time . Then they restart you and you go with a new group to race with . It shows on board whos winning and which place your in . If you dont like speed , then it might not be for you . There was some slow men that I had to bump out of my way and they would not move over . Felt like when I drive on the roads , people sit in the passing lane . They give you helmets and a besnie to put on your head . Cool place overall , Ill be back read more

10/10 experience. Ezekiel was super helpful and got us very well taken care of. This man deserves a promotion ASAP. One of the kids broke a part of the track and we had to have our races suspended and Ezekiel and the management were fantastic about it. Management offered us complimentary arcade cards for the inconvenience. If we didn't have to take a ferry boat home we would have stayed all day. These guys really know how to run a business. read more

Perfect place to wait around I was going to ride go-carts with my sister and they said she would not be able to ride them because she was not of age, even though when we called they said she was perfectly fine to ride with the adults because she was of height requirements even when we mentioned her name they were fine with it. Overall was not a great experience so we honestly waited in line just for them to tell us that our family couldn't race together. Although it's awesome if you want to wait in line for hours and they tell you that you can't all race together. read more

Second time here, the first time was K1. We bought 4 junior races starting at 2:20. Kids didn't race until 40 minutes later! We were informed of this when we asked why at 2:20 they weren't on the board. Staff could have explained the delay at the time we checked in. Staff on the track not paying attention to racers. On child was going backwards on the incline, ended up in the corner, another child slammed in to the other at full speed! Numerous delays and slow downs during the race. Did not get 8 laps in as we paid for! $100 wasted! read more

Super fun! I finished 2nd place. 15 laps of shear indoor go-kart speed. Air conditioned and a clean atmosphere and you get a detailed report as to how you performed. Winner-winner, chicken dinner! read more

This was a disappointing experience compared to our visit when it was a K-1. We made reservations, arrived early to check in, and still had to wait almost an hour past the reservation time. When we asked about the delay we were told there was a birthday party and they were running 20 minutes behind. Our 2:20 race was finally called to the gate at 3:15. During the race, a child continually stopped on the slope. During one of those laps, staff was not watching and the child reversed while another child hit them at full speed from the back. In between races, there were 6-8 young men working inside the track, yet the races were delayed as they talked to each other and checked their phones while standing at the desk inside the racing gate. We waited another 30 minutes for the second race since we had already paid for both races. The cart speeds during the two races were very inconsistent and at times were almost too slow for the junior carts to make it up the slope. I doubt we will make the hour trip again to this venue given the poor management and lack of organization. read more

This place is AWESOME!!! My husband and I went for his birthday and had a blast. The carts are pretty fast and the track allows you to drift around corners. The small game corner wasn't at the same level as something like a chain arcade but the games there were also pretty fun. I highly recommend!!! read more

Went for a fun date with my girlfried to try something new. Left with us both angry because we never even saw each other on the track and they put us with kids that wouldn't even push the gas all the way. Never even got to try a lap at full speed because of the kids. Truly disappointing way to spend $60. I recommend going when no one else is there or not at all. Terrible! read more
