All scam open your eyes don't let your investment go phoenix truxx 1-Star Review - Phoenix Truxx…read more I drove over 400 miles based on the photos Phoenix Truxx sent me. The truck was completely misrepresented--heavy water damage inside the box, patched exterior panels, dents, and obvious prior repairs that were not disclosed. When I questioned this, the staff was rude and unprofessional. Total waste of time. I have photos and video to prove it. Avoid.

After asking to test drive (which the sales lady drove with me) which I thought was a bit unnecessary, breaks was squeaking and a funny noise coming from the rear tires. Come to find out the inside tire was flat which they changed for me. After being there for over 5 hrs I did leave away with truck. BEWARE of the $2500 service/inspection fee that they charge to go over vehicle which is a bunch of BS if you ask me. Purchased a warranty (Veterans Auto Warranty) which was a waste of $3200. After driving about 1 hr the engine light came on luckily I made it back home. After further inspection it needed 2 injectors replaced. Called dealer back and they said to bring it back so they can look it over. I expressed that I wasn't driving back and I would call warranty company they next business day. After speaking with warranty company they told me they ONLY cover parts which they base there prices off of after market parts not OEM - and I'll have to cover the labor cost. That cost me $1400. After getting injectors replaced drove it for a few days engine light came back on. Took it back to Ford and they told me bank 4 didn't have proper compression. Reached out to warranty company and they said they would have set up an inspection for an adjuster to come out. After inspection warranty company said that this was a prior problem and they wouldn't cover it. To fix this issue it would require damm near a new motor which estimated cost is around 20k. So now I'm stuck with a truck that needs a new motor and I only had it for just over a month. Needless to say I had to keep calling dealer to send title so I can purchase my tags. It took them 32 days to do so with only a 30 day temporary tag. This whole ordeal has been by far the worst truck purchase I have ever experienced. In my opinion I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE.

Finding a good, honest, and reliable mechanic is the Holy Grail for any car owner. Derrick…read moresucceeded where two other mechanics across town had failed. Not only was the diagnosis absolutely correct, but it was explained in a way that actually made sense without talking down to me. Derrick and his team have been my mechanics since I moved to West Orange in 2018, and at this point I trust them completely with my cars. They're straight shooters. If something can wait, they'll tell you. If something needs attention now, they'll show you why. No pressure, no mystery charges, no unnecessary parts swapping. From a technical standpoint, their diagnostics have been consistently spot-on. They don't just throw parts at a problem hoping something sticks; they take the time to trace the root cause, whether it's electrical, drivetrain, or something more subtle that other shops miss. The work is done right the first time, and I've never had to come back for the same issue. Pricing is fair, turnaround times are realistic, and communication is excellent. They treat you like a long-term customer, not a one-time invoice. Shops like this are rare, and if you're looking for a place you can stick with for years, this is it. I recommend them without hesitation.

Their shop is very clean and the mechanics are professional and friendly. Derrick was great to meet after reading so much about him in previous reviews. They have music playing in the three bay work area which is great, it keeps everyone in good spirits while working on your vehicle. Pricing was very reasonable and straightforward (and no games that are played like from my area in NYC where there is a cash vs credit price where merchants charge you 2-5% extra if you pay by credit card.) I made an appointment for my service on their website and highly recommend you do as well as opposed to walk-in service as they are very busy and then calling them to confirm that for your requested service that you can wait rather than drop off (BUT that depends on where you live and of course what you need done, I'm in NYC so I can't drop it off and leave and comeback when done, I need to wait; if I needed time consuming work / parts like the lower block changed on my J35Y6 engine due to the connecting rod recall, I'd need to leave it there and come back when done days later of course, but for fluid changes like oil/atf/differential/transfer case/break/coolant, I would wait.) For my service, they got to my vehicle quickly and the service was perfect and took the exact amount of time to do it right. I'll be coming back for service for both of my vehicles going forward. I'm coming from NYC and getting there is very convenient especially if you take the I95 to 280W. I have nothing but praise for Derrick and his team!
