Bob, one of the owners, is easy to work with and gets the job done. I would recommend them.

Please Stay Away from Midas Irvington and Midas in general!!…read more They are scamming people left and right by charging services that are not needed but they lie and deceive you into thinking a required service has to be done in order to repair the initial problem, which leads to a dishonest domino effect of pricing to drain your wallets -- just read the other comments. Here's my experience: I went to Midas Irvington to get new rear brake pads and rotors. After the tech 'inspected' the brakes, they told me I needed a right rear brake caliper and brake flush in order to do the complete brake job. So now, a $500 job turned into a $1000+ job.. I had them do the service anyway because I thought they were trust worthy. Subsequently, after doing research, I came to the conclusion that my car was never experiencing any symptoms that indicates that I needed a rear brake caliper. Instead, Midas lied and upsold me. There is a post from 10 years ago on, Reddit, about how Midas lies to their customers on them needing a brake caliper and brake flush in order to warranty their brakes.. if only I saw that post before stepping into Midas. But here's the kicker and most important detail that Midas are scammers: Every recommended service that Midas said I needed, was debunked and cleared by not only one mechanic shop but two (full report pdf as proof), one of them being the dealership's service department. So that means, if Midas lied and said I needed services that totaled to nearly $5,000 (control arm, catalytic converter, engine mounts, fuel services) it's safe to say that I never needed a brake flush nor a rear brake caliper in the first place. My check engine light has never ever came on in my car since purchase, but Midas has the nerve to tell me I need a new catalytic converter which is about $1600-$2500, lol. I made a complaint to Midas and the Regional Manager, Mona Patel, reached out to me. I told her about the incident and that I have proof and she never responded which is expected from a business that scams the people out of their money. Please Stay Away from Midas and save your money. These people are dishonest and untrustworthy all in the name of profit. Like the other review mentioned, do not let the two guys (John & Ralph) who answer the phone at Midas Irivington fool you with how nice they sound --- Stay Away or You're Gonna Pay!

My experience at Jiffy Lube was extremely disappointing, concerning, and unprofessional…read more While my vehicle was in their care, the bottom cover/plate that protects the vehicle's exhaust and driveshaft came loose. What made the situation even more concerning was that one of the mechanics proceeded to drive my vehicle around the lot while the plate was hanging underneath it. I was sitting outside on the red bench and witnessed this happen. I also have photos documenting the condition of the vehicle and the piece hanging underneath it. Instead of addressing the situation by properly securing the plate or attempting to repair it, I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to find the other two screws myself in order for the plate to be secured. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable, particularly because the vehicle was in their possession when the issue occurred. The staff also claimed that the piece was already hanging from the bottom of the vehicle before they began working on it. I strongly dispute that claim. If that were the case, I would have expected the condition to be brought to my attention before any work was performed--not after the vehicle was driven around the lot with the plate hanging underneath it. What bothered me most was the nonchalant attitude and lack of accountability displayed throughout the situation. I expected my vehicle to be handled with care and for the staff to take responsibility when a problem arose. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This entire situation was highly concerning and bothersome. I will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube location for any future service. I strongly encourage management to review what happened, including how my vehicle was handled, why it was driven with the plate hanging underneath it, and how my concerns were addressed.
