This is a great beach side restaurant / bar with a massive outdoor patio. The servers all very good, the sunset was epic and the food was good. Passing through Port Stanley we stopped at GTs on the Beach. Really large patio on the beach of Port Stanley. We stopped for lunch, party of 14! They offered the section away from the beach, guess it was the only largest space for such a large group. They even turned on the heat for us, weather was a bit breezy and mild 18 degrees. Took 45 mins from sit down to eating, plan ahead if you're in a hurry. No dogs allowed! but its expected. Steak, fish tacos were a bit overcooked and dry... couple sweet potato fries were still crunchy in the middle and not cooked fully. Portions are large, they load up on the fries only, which ppl take home. Great location! Clean washrooms, free 2hr street parking but a 5min walk. Closest parking is $4 per hour or $20 for the day. Questionable wheelchair accessible at the restaurant. read more

We had a great time, dining next to the beach. Watching a volleyball game while not eating any sand. Really at the beach so very nice. Service was excellent. Server so friendly. Lauren or Lau on name tag. She really listened to customize their tacos to our ideas. Combining toppings from one dish with fish in another. Will definitely return. Went to GT's on kind of a chilly evening but was able to sit under their covered patio. Our group ordered the nachos, which were really good restaurant nachos! We also had the the Buffalo chicken wrap, the fish and chips, and the Mediterranean wrap. All were big portions and left us all satisfied! read more

They are good, friendly, community oriented people running an excellent establishment that has become a local tradition. In fact, although we've lived here less than a decade, we look forward to meals at EVERY restaurant in town. Port Stanley boasts a remarkable range of restaurants for its tiny footprint, with menus from traditional to forward and for most budgets (hey, it's a tourist economy here now, the blue collar roots are fading and better represented in nearby St Thomas). Always great! Food is great. Service is always fast and very hospitable and you are literally on the beach. If you have little ones they can play in the sand right by your table. Perfectly named for the good times we've had there always. Make a reservation on weekends as it can get busy. read more

Was here in September and forgot to post this! Oops! Great location! Right on the beach, all outdoor seating, lots of parking and nearby volleyball courts. Starving after a long hike at the Provincial Park we ended up here. We ordered Deep Fried Pickles to start, Fish Tacos, and Perch and Chips. Beer menu was alright, nothing local, but decent selection. I love deep fried pickles and these were awesome! Perch and Chips were very good. Not greasy and good portions. Fries were ok. Fish Tacos were also pretty good. Good amount of fish, lots of crisp veggies and not overly messy. Service was good. Place was clean. Good vibes all around. Super cute restaurant on the banks of Lake Erie. Restaurant has a super cute beachy feel and atmosphere. Live music, pools tables and a huge outdoor deck for eating. Nice views of the lake and there are volleyball courts on the beach for your enjoyment There was also parasailing and jet ski rental there as well. Yummy drinks, local food and decent wait service. I ordered the "loaded quesadilla" and my wife ordered a burger. The serving size of quesadilla was disappointing and the chips that accompanied it were few. Overall, the "loaded quesadilla" had refried beans, cheese and chicken. Not really loaded with anything else. My wife's burger was kinda bland and the patty seemed to be a frozen kind. Kinda spongy and not too much flavour. For the price of about $17-$20 per plate we were disappointed and probably won't be back. If the food was cheaper maybe. read more

Incredible security team! My family and I had just came straight from the beach and wanted to find somewhere near by to eat, and we stumbled upon this treasure. The security man at the front offered to look after our umbrellas and chairs while we were eating. The food was terrific, and the price was average. Breathtaking views of the water. read more

Here is another gold mine on the beach! Great atmosphere, waitress did a great job. Grilled fish came out cold and very little flavor. They did replace the cold food very quickly and courteously which impressed me. They want to be a great food destination and I think if they could improve the quality of the food that they will be the place to eat in Port Stanley. Washrooms were new and very clean! I enjoyed the music coming from the outside bar as well! I gave this a 3 with room to improve on taste! I will definitely try them again with hope for upgrading this review. read more

We were on the beach and decided to have lunch here after. There is only two places on beach to eat at and this is one of them. Ordered 4 things to share and to be honest all of it was blah! No taste to food and just greasiest food I had in long time. Had stake salad, coconut shrimp,pirogies, crab dip. No flavour and just greasy. Service was decent and place itself is nice. The waitresses deserve a raise purely for the embarrassment they face by working at such a joke of a restaurant. Went with a friend of mine and got the burger and the quesadillas and they both were a waste of money. The burger had no flavour while the quesadillas had nothing in them but beans. I tried to ask for another salsa but did not see any waitresses out on the floor for the entirety of our dinner until we got the bill. Save your money for a better restaurant. I could have gotten a better burger at McDonald's for a quarter of the price I payed for one here. read more

After 3 months of cooking at home I was so looking forward to going out for my first restaurant experience since Covid-19 sent us all into hiding. I can't say I mind the social distancing required in restaurants. No more people bumping into your chair as they struggle to move through over-crowded spaces. But the dining experience was a huge disappointment. Our mouths watered at the thought of a Grilled Pickerel Taco. When our tacos arrived they were filled with a chopped salad of some sort (not a tasty slaw) no guacamole in sight (at least not enough to actually see) and a sliver of pickerel. Each taco had a 4cm x 1cm sliver of pickerel. The manager responded to our displeasure by having some more pickerel delivered to our table and suggesting that we tell Doug Ford to give him more than 4 days to open next time. The 4 more slivers of pickerel did little to compensate for our sad dinner. An opportunity to make return customers out of the three of us turned into this less than complimentary review. I might go there for a beach-side drink but I will certainly never eat a meal there again. read more

Great service, good food, and wonderful service as usual. I kept the fair low cal, and thoroughly enjoyed the Thursday fish special. Not greasy, and locally scrumptious. The perch tacos were recommended and they did not disappoint. Soooo tasty. The salsa with the light crispy nachos were also a nice tasty treat. Serving sizes are very good. I could only eat 2 and saved 1 for a snack later in the evening. My husband had the perch and chips and also was not disappointed. No room for dessert but they had different flavoured nachos. I made reservations for 12 guys coming in on motorcycles on August 4 Th. It was a busy hot evening but they had our table ready and we were seated immediately. Our waitress did a great job taking care of us and the food was good and the beer ice cold. It's nice to have a great restaurant right on the beach. We will be back next year. read more

Nice spot right on the beach but super busy on the weekends. They have a live band on Saturdays so sit outside on the terrace, listen to some tunes and enjoy the view. Sat outside on Saturday afternoon, watched a volleyball game just in front and did a little people watching too! The food is decent, a little overpriced for what you get. One evening I entered, found a table and sat with my partner for forty minutes. No service! I find their price for a bottle of beer to be outrageous. And the food . . . so-so, if you like extremely fattening dishes. There's nothing "heart healthy" about that menu! My first time in this area and I looked up GT here on yelp so we went. I got the mile high sandwich. It was okay lots of bread, I took out the one in the middle and tasted even better. My hubby got the same but he didn't think much of his at all. Fries were cold when we got them, asked for extra onion rings those were good and hot. Waiter took my plate before I finished my last fry it all happened so quick and I really hate when people do that. What made it even worse was he brought the check and stood there waiting for me to dig out my cash and count it, ugh! No tip that's all I have to say. The best thing this place has going for it is the location. Great spot to drink and watch sand volleyball or hang out at the beach. Food was so-so and prices were high (similar to most prices in the area). We arrived we a group of 18 and were surprised to see, eventhough we called ahead and were told no reservations, staff had a table ready for all 18 of us. Great food. Our sever MacKenzie was efficient, fast and friendly. The manager Megan made sure we were well taken care, Mike at the bar as well. GTs is the place to go if your in Port Stanley and is definetly worth the drive out of the city. The entire restaurant is on the beach, walk in with flipflops or barefeet, bathing suit or jeans. The live music is Jimmy Buffet style, the beers are served cold with limes and oranges. I love to suntan in the lounge chairs and take in one of the volleyball games feet from where I relax. The burgers are great too and if you come in on Mondays they are half price! Can't wait till next summer!!! read more
