Everything was fine until it came time to pay the bill. They present your itemized bill, come out with a credit card machine, you select the tip amount, press ok. All good....not so much. Requested a receipt and there is a charge I did not authorize, a 3% fee. I took it up to the cashier and requested they back out the charge and I would pay cash. They opted to take the 3% charge out from the register and handed it to me. The smart a$$ waiter said there was a sign outside explaining the 3% fee. I said, ya, right next to the cigarettes cause cancer and alcohol can cause birth defects, a little 3"x5" card with things lined out in sharpy marker. The smart a$$ bid me a terrible day. Delicious food, love their soups! Fresh veggies, chicken, brothy soup with avocado. Everything is served hot & freshly made. Plus the servers and managers are always pleasant, you just know they want you to enjoy your meal. Lots of variety on their menu with great pictures showing the meal. The food was great. I got the milanesa de res, the taste was excellent but I think the meat is not the best texture for this type of plate. My friend had mole, he said that's the best mole he's had. I'm actually really impressed with this restaurant. I don't typically like Mexican food but it's really apparent that the food is fresh here. I got steak fajitas topped with Chipotle cheese (which is a bit spicy). The steak was cooked perfectly. Not over done and I could taste the char on it. Loved it. The veggies were cooked but still crisp, not soggy, and they packed my toppings separately. Loved it. My son actually ate his chicken and cheese quesadilla. We ordered to go and usually the food isn't great once it gets home but our order was packed so nicely and it tasted so good! I definitely recommend trying here if your in the mood for some good Mexican food! Oh and I cannot forget the churros..so so delicious read more

The person running the place comes out every time we go and holds the door open for her. They always seat us as close to the front door as possible so she doesn't have far to go. He offered to let me park illegally so she was closer to the ramp so she didn't have to step up the curb. This happens every time we go. I would give 5 stars but my partner ordered the beef soup, and nothing was chopped to proportion. There was a 5 inch carrot in her soup, along with 4 huge chunks of meat. Great hospitality from the guys, they remember our favorites. Come with an appetite or prepare for leftovers (which is also great). The Chicken Stir Fry is delicious and is enough for two to three people. Middle of the afternoon is quiet and not busy, perfect for a late lunch or an early dinner. The Chile Rellenos here are wonderful and 5-star worthy. Each time we come I order a Chile Relleno combination dinner. The soft Relleno has red sauce and is a fresh poblano egg batter dipped chile stuff with cheese. The crisp Relleno has green tomatillo sauce and seems to be canned green chiles with cheese wrapped in a tortilla and deep fried like a Chimichanga. Each are quite different and provide textural/flavor profile variety. The reason I'm only giving this 4 stars is because my spouse ordered seafood enchiladas fairly recently which didn't taste fresh (they had an extremely fishy taste) and then the last week we ordered Sopas (with shredded beef) and they were extremely cold when brought to the table - we ended up taking them home in a to-go box to heat them up whereby they were much better. I can't say enough about the Chile Rellenos here, they are my comfort food. However I would suggest sticking to traditional associated enchiladas (i.e., cheese, shredded chicken, etc.) rather than ordering the seafood enchilada in a land-locked state. Sopas are a nice change, if they are brought out from the kitchen as soon as they are made while masa tortas/sopa dough and meat is still hot. Unfortunately , in a crowded restaurant versus a made-while-you-wait taqueria there is no guarantee that the dish will not sit around in kitchen waiting on other orders whereby they arrive at table cold. Perhaps ordering as an appetizer might prevent this. read more

Originally from Southern California and know outstanding Mexican food. This restaurant will not disappoint, at least not in their food. They decided to raise prices by 20%. A 10% raise would not have been met with such negativity, but 20%?? Even the lunches are now over $10.00. We respect the need for a raise in prices, but this has been surprisingly high. Better that they would have done a 10% raise, wait 6 months and do another one..... Good restaurant but is no longer a good purchase, come on.... this is Cheyenne. read more

We often enjoy the food from this establishment and try to order takeout with the current COVID concerns. That being said, I disappointed with my order tonight. I ordered the avocado tostada with chicken. What was supposed to be a crispy corn tortilla was a soggy corn tortilla right out of the package. No refried beans in sight, and way too much sour cream with little red sauce to be seen. Here's hoping next time is better. read more

for the most part this restaurant was pretty darn good there was plenty of it, I ended up ordering a chicken style soup and I don't even know what happened to it we enjoyed everything except for the soup I wasn't sure if it was my soup or somebody had accidentally pour the contents of the dish sink in there. This was the soup that had a large pickle in it, a pear , one large carrot not chopped and one potato not chopped followed up by some chicken wings on the bone and I'm asking myself what the hell is happening here read more
