My dad and I had to come to Pittsburg from KC. We were trying to find somewhere to have dinner. Lunch was at a chain so I was hopeful that our dinner would be better. The guacamole was incredible! The service was very good. I had nachos with beans which were delicious. My dad eats tacos everywhere so he was excited to see one of the specials was 4 tacos with rice for $5. Fast and friendly service. The salsa is good, but the chips are mediocre. The guacamole is just avocados, so not guacamole at all. The food was mediocre. Ordered fajitas and they did not come out sizzling- they were only warm. The food still tasted alright overall though. Also, the bathrooms are large and clean. read more

The food wasn't to bad, the restaurant was dirty the menus were sticky with something I'm guessing soda and the bowls they brought out with the salsa still had food stuck in them. They definitely need to do a deep clean at the restaurant. The food was good but it seemed like every other Mexican restaurant in the area. read more

The food is great, but you have to wait. Table service is variable from day to day and server to server. Also.... don't order in advance. I ordered at 11 for a 12:45 pick up. Still had to wait 15 minutes. I arrived early, so my total wait time was 25 minutes. Could have ordered it in the restaurant! Didn't have time to eat it when I got back to the office. In town to see the SAE Baja race, never been to Pittsburg before. Another restaurant we were looking for from Yelp had gone out of business, so we ended up here. We hoped that the fact that one of the teams from Mexico were eating here was a sign that it was at least edible, and it more than met our expectations. My husband and I split a tamale combo plate, and the other person in our party had the chicken fajitas. Both dishes were good, though the tamales had a cheese sauce with ground beef, which I'm not a fan of. Service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. The waiter was attentive and refilled our drinks as needed. Prices were reasonable. We were quite happy with our dinner; considering how small and far from Texas as Pittsburg seems to be, I guess our expectations were low, but it was as good as any corner Texmex place we've been to in Houston. read more

I took my mother here to eat today and it was amazing! Their food has so much flavor without being too greasy that it upsets my stomach. Also, my mother is very particular about her margaritas and how that are made. This is one of the very few times that she liked it and didn't send it back to be remade. No one was up front and 5 people wait 20 mins just for someone to acknowledge me, I had a to go order of 15 tacos and I waited 20 mins before driving to the restaurant and they still did not have them done! Really makes me mad because it is not busy at all read more

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Pitt. The food is excellent, great specials and the staff is friendly and efficient. They also have great margarita and beer specials to go along with the food. The Thursday night burrito special is my favorite night with fajita Friday right behind it, but you can't go wrong with taco Tuesday either! read more

Very good impression for a first visit! Came for lunch on a Saturday just as the dining room was filling up. Service was quick and very friendly. They had a lot of very good specials posted near the front door and I took advantage of the 99 cent margarita (not strong, but very delicious and bigger than I'd anticipated for the price!) I considered trying their very affordable steak fajitas lunch but instead went with a #1 lunch special. It came out on two big platters and I had to share it with my husband, who ordered (and loved) the shrimp tacos and rice. My chile rellenos was great with a pretty thick batter and the right amount of heat (I'd call it medium). Their red sauce is very good. My taco was also delicious and a generous guacamole salad was the perfect companion. This is a much larger restaurant than it appears from the road - directly across the street from PSU campus. We'll certainly come back when visiting Pittsburg. read more

Excellent service. Most items on menu are great except fish tacos. The fish is chopped and way over cooked. Good margaritas for the price.

I can not give this restaurant enough stars! It's wonderful. We have been here many times. Friendly staff. Nice clean restaurant. .99 tacos on "Taco Tuesday". Had a wonderful chicken burrito and there are many plates to choose from. Ask the waitress for some of their "hot" salsa. It is soooo good! The only bad thing I can say about this place is what it is doing to my figure! I can't stay away! read more

So, I know what good Mexican food is, I'm gonna preface my review with that. I'm from CA and relocated to Pittsburg literally day before yesterday. I was initially concerned about how I was going to live without delicious and authentic CA Mexican food. Holy crap! This place is the first restaurant we have eaten at in town that wasn't fast food, got takeout because we are still unpacking. I called in my order, the girl who answered the phone was very friendly, took my order and told me it would be about a 5-10 minute wait, just enough time for me to immediately walk out my door, get into my car and drive down there. After a very short wait my food was ready. I paid, got in my car and drove home. What a pleasant surprise when I opened up the containers of food! I'd post pictures but I've been home for 15 minutes and there isn't any food left! It was absolutely delicious, I don't have any worries about where I will get my fix. Their service is fast, friendly and done with a smile from start to finish. They even wrote "Welcome to Pitt :)" on our to-go containers because I said we had just moved here! This is my go-to Mexican food spot from this day forward! read more
