The atmosphere is amazing but that is the only reason to go. The food is consistently bad. The fish dip is nothing comparable to other local places. The blackened fish sandwich had zero flavor. The quesadilla was unedible (and how hard is it to make a decent quesadilla!?) The two people who ordered it in my party couldn't even eat it. The chicken was still pink. Mmmmm. So good that I ate here twice in one week during my stay in Jupiter. Service was good and food was delish. Generally pretty healthy, no overload on the grease. I had the clams, salad with guanabana dressing. I normally don't like sweet salads but it was the perfect combination of savory and sweetened dressing. The best part was the pina colada cake. Yum. I'll start with the good and then get to the ugly in the end. I had to use the restroom before we sat. I waited to wash my hands only to ask the waitress who was powdering & primping if she wasn't washing her hands to move over some so I could. We had a 15 minute wait, so we grabbed some drinks at the bar (it was Happy Hour around 4:30 p.m.) and paid $5.25 for a draft Yeungling & house Pinot Grigio. Sat down in some Adirondack chairs out on the water and watched the boaters and SUP'ers go by. Once we sat we were greeted about 20 minutes later by our waitress who already had several excuses why she was late. Whatever, we are pretty laid back and weren't in any rush. We ordered some Smokehouse Sweet & Spicy wings. They came out in about 10 minutes. They were very yummy, but expect to taste them 3 hours later! Then we ordered another drink and waited for our meals...1 hour later! After seeing 2 tables that sat way after us get their food we said something to the waitress. She came back stating she doesn't know what is going on but the manager is yelling at the kitchen about it now. All I could think of was, "great - now they will hate us and spit in our food!" We finally got our Smothered Fish Burritos with tortilla chips, guacamole, sour cream, & salsa. It was very filling. We both could only finish about 1/4 of the burrito. In the end, they comped a glass of wine and we left with a meal for the next day (our leftovers). I wouldn't mind coming back for drinks and apps, but probably not for dinner and especially not for a first date! read more

I've gone once to watch my cousin and his band play. Not to satisfied with the service there, during the day its family friendly after 9p its 21 and up. I called ahead and was told all ages are accepted, guess not. I'm 20 so there I was looking like a bimbo trying to figure out how I'm going to get in. My husband and I went to this restaurant last weekend and absolutely loved it. Who ever designed the atmosphere did a great job. We love the water and loved the tiki feel. We ended up staying for hours! Their happy hour prices aren't bad either. We got the macadamia and coconut crusted mahi, which tasted kind of bland. Have been here 30+ times boat land and boat. Best dining experience in south florida as far as I'm concerned. Atmosphere was great. However at 2:30 on a Monday, the wait time for a table by the water was 45 minutes. So we took to the high tables that were first come...and very uncomfortable for the entire party of us. Wings were just ok, but the hamburger was good. Good drinks and service. This place was decent. They clearly worked really hard on the tiki get-up, which is fun. It was great to sit right on the intercoastal under a thatched umbrella and snack on appetizers. I think if I had a boat and could pull right up I would love it even more... unfortunately I don't have a boat but they have docks! Cool idea. Their service could kick it up a notch. My dad's favorite measure of good service is if he has to ask for a refill on his diet coke then a joint gets an F in service. But they charmed him by bringing him another coke just as he was finishing one. We just got appetizers and that was quite enough because the portions were meal sized. Their sangeria was not fabulous by any stretch of the imagination. It had too much wine and it was cheap wine at that (granted I've had more sangria in Spain than in the States). Great for kids because of the atmosphere. Definately a place to take your out of town relatives on an afternoon or a business client to smooz them up. read more

The obvious highlight of this place is the atmosphere, nothing can compete with the sprawling area and seemingly all outdoor tables with waterfront view. But we had a great service experience as well. Friendly waitress and you can tell that the food runners are busting their butts to get food out. I respect that a lot. This place is great...right on the water with boat slips and paddle boarding on the water (you can rent the boards across the street). It looks like a jungle or tropical rain forest...very lush. It's tucked away, and very unique. I just stopped in for lunch, but I will definitely be back for dinner. I had the fresh catch fish sandwich, which was honestly the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Very fresh, juicy and flavorful. My five year old son had the cheese quesadilla, which he also said was the best one he had ever had, lol.. My only complaint is that they only serve grapes as the fruit with kid's meals...it would be nice to have a choice, or if they could have brought us strawberries from the bar like other places have. The service was great and the food came out almost immediately. There is a stage for bands on the weekends and a great outdoor bar for nightlife. Also, a gift shop and take out area. Guanabana's, let it be known if you don't get here before 5 pm you will be told that you have a 2 HOUR WAIT. It's a Monday evening and we are waiting. For the traveler from out of town: NO RESERVATIONS except for parties of 10+ so gather at least 10 people and make a reservation! Also, there is a loop hole. If you eat up Top its 1st come first serve for LIMITED MENU ONLY! Also, you can ask a seated party if you ask Permission for their table when they are done. Go To the bar, buy your meal as a take out from the full menu and wait for a table. We party of 6 chose not to do this but knowing you have the option helps. There are LARGE parties that come ahead and take up the majority of the restaurant. If you come after 5:30pm you WILL WAIT! Doesn't matter what time it is. One more thing, they have valet parking and they need it!! You will wait several minutes for your car at the end of your meal. Service; don't expect much, food, interesting and Floridian, the wait with no reservation makes this experience tolerable at best. Try it once, then enjoy your dining experience somewhere else. Wait staff are busy. Decor is jungle oriented and location, Jupiter off a1a. Thanks for your thoughts. Final wait time 1:15 mins. 10 mins to order, Waited 30 mins for food. I forgot to post this review on my last visit. Great atmosphere, really beautiful location and tropical landscaping. You might drive right by it as its very hard to see its beauty from the street. Our food was good and we enjoyed our meal. I'm sure their could be better food at other restaurants but in the end it was the location that made it our choice. We didn't want to eat in a strip mall. This was my first time here and trust me I really wanted to like this place! The first impression is awe inspiring! It's all outdoors and it's like your eating on canopies under the jungle. The atmoshpere here to eat is some of the best outdoor dining I have had the pleasure to dine with. Unfortunately, that's where it all ends. My experience continues to go downhill for the entire time. Once we finally found a seat, this place is always super crowded and you will wait. We sat down at a dirty table for about 10 minutes before it was even attempted to be cleaned. When the waitress came over she seemed a bit rushed and out of sorts. She rushed us thru the menu regarding the happy hour that they do everyday from 3-6pm. It's not what it's cracked up to be at all. Make sure you ask exactly what's on the happy hour menu. Trust me the devil is in the details! Much if the happy hour was just domestic beer, well drinks and 1/2 off specialty drinks. I was not at all impressed. The happy hour consisted of also 1/2 off appetizers which I thought was a nice touch. The food was a total disappointment. I ordered the braised beef tacos which were terrible. It was so wet and soggy it soaked thru the flour tortilla. It was a complete mess and the flavor was so heavy with cilantro that it killed any flavor the taco may have had. Next we ordered the smoked fish dip. It came very simple with a scoop of dip and some Keebler crackers. Are you kidding me?? Thank got it was 1/2 price. With the price they charge you would think they would at least give you some nice bread with it. The dip was definitely fresh but there was no smoky flavor at all. It was like tuna fish salad in a bowl. Not very appealing! So the last thing that we tried was the shrimp poppers. Picture them as little crab cakes deep fried but made with shrimp. The looked great and came with a great jalapeño dipping sauce. I took my first bite and it was raw in the middle. Not a good start at all! Upon trying to grab out waitress who was never around. We managed to grab so.eone and told them of the issue and would like another order. That took about 15 minutes to get the reorder and they did come back ready to eat. I did enjoy those the best but not much flavor. When we all decided to leave we again waited awhile for our check. When the waitress came over a person of our party asked if she could take an iced tea to go?? The waitress proceeded to say they don't have cups to go. Are you kidding me?? She seemed irritated that we even asked such a question. So, we asked her for a kids cup that they have for an iced tea to go. It has a lid and it's in a plastic cup. I don't understand what the problem was but the waitress rolled her eyes and said she could do that. That took 10 minutes. I believe she was hoping we had given up and left but we didnt. She was a horrible waitress and with the mediocre food at best and poor happy hour. I would not recommend this place to people. There are a ton of better choices on A1A with water dining that you could accompany. read more
