It was the first time back at this theater in a very long time; over a decade at least. I'm pretty sure it was called something else then. We had friends that wanted to see the new movie out this weekend in IMAX. I didn't even know that the Paragon had one, much less that it could fit one in there location. So we made the movie date plan. we arrived and saw some very hard working gals at the front. They looked short at least 1 if not 2 people to work. It was impressive the effort they were putting forth, especially compared to the average movie theater worker. We ordered a couple of wines which only the manager could pour. That was the only negative, as it was about 15 minutes for him to come to the front, and didn't seem too interested in working. To be fair, when I came out later for a follow up round, a different manager was there and was more than helpful. The Imax was great. Not like the really big ones but pretty good, and the chairs go bay back. We made note and will definity be back soon for a big movie. read more

Don't buy the pizza! Worst pizza I've tried to eat in my life. Soggy, oily, can't pick up the pizza to eat and to top it off it was delivered without two paper plates (to share with wife) and no napkins. I complained to management and here's what they wrote back: "It is disappointing to learn that the pizza did not meet our quality standards and arrived soggy and overly oily. We also apologize that your delivery was missing plates and napkins, especially when you were planning to share your meal. We understand how frustrating that must have been and regret that we fell short of providing the enjoyable movie-going experience you expected. Paragon Theatre in Deerfield Beach is such a great comeback story. This place was renovated not too long ago and wow... it needed it. The new owners did an excellent job transforming the entire theatre--brand-new seats, screens, flooring, concessions, you name it. The upgrade feels total and intentional. The recliners are an absolute dream. They lay back into a full, almost horizontal position, and the option to heat your seat was a game changer for my sciatica and sciatica-related discomfort. That feature alone deserves applause. There are three seating tiers: Standard, Lux, and Dine-In. We chose the dine-in love seat to make the most of the 3.5-hour Avatar movie. The privacy panels around the seats made the experience feel cozy and surprisingly intimate--like watching a movie from your own living room, but better. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot dog, and popcorn. Yes, it's theatre food, but it was all fresh, tasty, and honestly better than most. Totally worth it. Now for the one disappointment--the cocktails. I ordered their "popular" Malibu rum mix and what arrived was straight juice. No rum. No hint of rum. My husband confirmed it wasn't just me--pure juice. On top of that, the bartender was slow; the drink didn't come out until we were halfway through eating. My advice: stick to beer or wine, and place drink orders separately from food. Even so, we had an amazing time. The movie quality was IMAX 3D, and it was flawless from start to finish--crisp, immersive, and top-notch. Overall, this theatre has leveled up in a big way. Comfortable, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. We'll absolutely be back and will 100% choose the same dine-in love seat recliners again. Highly recommend--just skip the cocktails! read more

This theater has changed hands many times over the course of my lifetime as a Floridian. Paragon gave this location a NICE refresh with a curved screen, reclining seats, and a more intimate viewing experience. Alcoholic beverages are now available at concessions. Great experience. Looking forward to future outings when the big screen calls. read more

I liked this theater. It is a nice clean comfortable theater. I think i have been here twice. This time I was running behind and I was in a hurry. I think i got here 5 minutes pass the starting of the movie. To my surprise they didn't have someone scanning by the front. They had the concession stand people doing it. I just wanted to go in. A quick scan. I had to wait in line for people to order to get scanned. I was not happy. I was loosing movie time. Can you imagine my frustration. I just wanted to go in. I had to patiently wait for people to order. I didn't like that. Lesson learned, dont be late lol read more

I have never been to Paragon theaters until recently when they had an exclusive viewing of a classic movie on their IMAX screen. The purchasing experience online was very easy. There is ample parking located outside the theater. Being used to my local AMC, where you're barely acknowledged when you walk in, I was in for a big surprise when we entered the lobby area of this theater. An older man warmly greeted us from behind the concession stand. He called us over and scanned our tickets. He asked if this was our first time and explained the ordering process if we wanted to order food from our seats. He was very sweet and made the experience that much more memorable. Inside the IMAX theater, it was very clean, and the seats are very comfortable. The seats are paired off in to pods of two, so if you come with a third person, just know it will be hard to have a conversation with them while you're waiting for the movie to start. This is a great theater for a date night. While I do enjoy the IMAX theater down at the Museum of Science (screen is bigger there), you have to pay extra to pre-reserve your seats. Otherwise, it is general admission. At Paragon, that is not the case, and I appreciated being able to ensure I had my desired seats in advance. The sound quality was great in the theater, too. Our popcorn and drinks were easy to order using a QR code and our phone, and it came promptly. Overall, we had a great experience at this theater and with its excellent customer service, it is a place we will definitely return to. read more

I especially love Paragon theaters and this location was no different. My husband wanted to watch the Superman movie at an IMAX theater so we came here. We were greeted immediately, and had already purchased our tickets online. After getting our physical tickets we headed to our theater. We chose lux box dine in seats, which allow you to order any concessions from your theater seat. The lux box seats are secluded, but every seat in the theater reclines. It's really a great experience overall. The theater lobby appeared clean and people were being taken care of quickly. We really enjoyed the movie and this theater didn't disappoint! This theater just reopened in March. They've definitely refurbished it and have upgraded. Although I had a complimentary ticket this time, when I booked it online it appeared that some seats were booked up. I didn't realize until I arrived at the theater that I was the only one in the theater and the seats I thought were booked up are actually at a higher cost. These seats were the reclining type and they sectioned them off by a short wall as if it's an exclusive area. The other seats in the theater were not reclining but we're cushy and comfortable. I personally didn't see any other difference except the reclining feature. But being that other theaters offer reclining seats throughout the theater, I don't see why this makes it anymore special? So it seems like a waste of extra cost. The concessions area was also upgraded and very nice. Seemed like alot of staff that didn't have much to do. Maybe a slow day? I was also surprised with the renovation that carpet was put on the floor in the theaters. I would imagine after a period of time these carpets will probably become stained from people spilling drinks and food on the floor. But a nice touch. The sound system didn't seem very loud and clear at first during the previews, but once the movie began it got better. read more

Feb 10, 2026, love the Deerfield location, and R.J. who works behind the concession selling ticks, and popcorn etc; was wonderful, very polite and patient. We went to see Send Help at 3:55pm in theater 1, however when we took our seats in Row H, no one cleaned the theater before that showing because there was still an empty container of popcorn and tissues lying around. My only suggestion to management is to have one of the staff members check each theater before show starts - have a sign off schedule sheet that states the theater was cleaned. Anyway, I love coming here with my friends it's a really nice theater. read more

It then froze twice, and the manager was unable to get it to start. They gave me a ticket to use another time. I went today and had problems using the replacement ticket. I have not been to the theater since before Covid and I decided it was way past time. I think it is my new treat to self :) This theater is clean, the seats are comfortable, and the admission price is less expensive than other local theaters. Current prices are 9.00 - 11.50 depending on seat style, location and if you are a senior or not. The parking was great! For being in a shopping center, I was shocked at the ease of available spaces. I went twice in two days back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and both times I had parking in the first two rows. Know before you go. The concession prices are high which was expected, that is where they make their money. 17.00 for a small popcorn (way more than enough for me, I brought some home each time) and a small soda. Also, the restaurant Fratellis' next door has a " date night dinner and a movie special";Save 20% on your dine in. I've never been, so I can't vouch for their food. All in all. The Paragon Deerfield is a nice experience, and I will be back. read more

Good theater! The sound was not EXCRUCIATINGLY LOUD like every other theater I go to, such as Magnolia and Silverspot. It was perfectly balanced with crisp highs and low rumbling base while still at a comfortable level that doesn't hurt your ears. And because of this, I will return. Watched the Avatar: Fire and Ash movie in the IMAX screen. Got the luxbox chairs in the middle area. The chairs were brand new, recline a lot, very cushiony and large. There's a little table so if you order a cocktail or food, you can place it there. The 3D glasses were large and comfortable. The 3D itself was spectacular. The IMAX screen is not the largest. But it did not retract from the superior experience. Had a great time. I hope other movies will also not be as loud since that seems to be an issue with theaters now. read more

is our second time visiting for a sensory movie 1st time was for Minecraft and it was a great 1st time experience. Today we went to see Lilo and stitch at auditorium 5 this is supposed to be a sensory movie lights dim and sound turned down as a mommy of 3 on the spectrum i understand the whole point of a sensory movie is for kids to walk around if needed but there was 3 kids running around like if it was a playground and the lights were turned all the way up that you couldn't see the screen and the sound was loud that my daughter was covering her ears. We had a horrible experience and had to leave it's sad because my kids were excited to see this movie but was unable too. I love this theater. I love going to the movies, so a well run and maintained theater is important to me. This theater is clean, the seats are very comfortable and most important the staff is friendly and ready to help. Alyssa the manager is absolutely wonderful. She helps me with all my questions. The best part about this theater is the privacy walls every 2 seats. There is nothing worse than someone on their phone while you are trying to enjoy the movie you paid for. Popped into this newly refurbished Paragon for a Tuesday afternoon matinee and we will definitely be back. We were greeted by Alyssa who told us it was $5 Tuesday. We didn't even know! The concession stand has loads of options and you can also order food from your seat. We didn't try that but look forward to doing it next time. The seats were some of the comfiest I have experienced in a movie. And the floor was not sticky at all. IKYK. Finally, the volume of the movie was just right, not too loud and not too soft. You didn't have to listen to the movie in the theater next door while trying to watch your own movie. This is a huge plus for me as I find this happening a lot at other theaters. Came here from a good distance to see final destination at this theater. I paid for the lux dine in seats. First off the theater is nice and the seats are comfortable, but there wasn't any lux experience. Idk if it's because I went during matinee hours, but I don't think that should matter. The first issue was you have to scan a QR code to order dine in. Ok not a problem. Except the theater is dark and the camera can't pick up the QR code. It should be somewhat illuminated for this purpose. After finally getting it to scan, I go to order and half the menu items are unavailable. Leaving maybe at most 4 or 5 items that I can order. They bring my order pretty quickly after ordering though. However, after they're gone and I start eating I realize I have no napkins which I needed. So at some point, I now have to leave the theater during the movie to wash my hands and get some napkins. All in all it was NOT the experience I thought I would get. It's a good theater. Just maybe coke early to order ahead and maybe don't expect a wide menu selection. read more

My daughter and I went to the new theatre here in Deerfield. The theatre is beautiful compared to the one that existed here before. You can see the amount of effort and detail that went into updating this movie theatre. We really do like the theatre, but with that being said, your staff needs to be more professional when handling customers. I understand you just opened but to have to wait in line for a while and miss the beginning of our movie because you have two employees flirting & giggling with each other and talking about their personal life while we all stand in line, should not happen. Movie and concession prices are not what they used to be, to be missing part of a movie we paid for. (And FYI, my daughter recognized the female because she says she has been stealing from her Ulta store and she was surprised to see her as possibly a manager there.) This theatre is really nice and we will come back because it's so close, but I think you need to talk to your staff about keeping the line moving so people don't miss any of their movie, and keep it professional! read more
