My kids went to summer camp many times and my daughter was a "monster camper" (CIT) this summer. She absolutely loved the experience.

I actually met the woman who works there Lisa Wagner at Boston Medical Center's Halloweenfest when I was volunteering at a Booth that "Guard Up" had.

Lacking Empathy and Basic Human Kindess…read more I had been hired by Kiddie Academy with the hopes and promises of advancing my career in early education only to find discrimination and cruelty. They have admitted to being against hiring males specifically and fired me as soon as they found out I had become homeless. I had worked hard for the short period I was there and gave everything they demanded as quickly and efficiently as I could just for them to terminate me for reasons out of my control. As soon as the Director, Nancy, was told I was living in hotels due to my mobile home being crashed into by a snowplow (enough to have left damage making it unlivable) she fired me. It did not matter how good of a worker I was for them, she discriminated against me due to my currently living hardships and in turn making life in general much harder after letting me go. I had even turned down other positions for this job just to be treated in this way. On top of all of this, I still have not been paid for my time there AND Nancy tried to cut down the hours I would get paid. Are these the kind of people you want teaching your kids? Lacking empathy and basic human compassion, sexist, do you really want your kids growing and learning from an environment and people like that? Trust me, if you love or care for your child, you will go elsewhere because they don't care about your child just the money they bring in.

While the kids have a good time (mostly because they're just literally "left to their own devices" and that's all the kids need to have a good time) the organizers of the program can't communicate effectively with parents (and when they do the organizers are rude and immature), can't keep to a schedule, can't follow through on things they say they will do, can't organize equitable accommodations for the kids, and even lost two separate care packages we sent our child (after we checked and they told us we could send them). Additionally, it would appear most of the "sessions" impart very little practical knowledge. If you'd like to send your kids to a camp where a bunch of 30-year-old children play video games with your kids for two weeks, and you don't actually expect them to learn anything, do anything, be supervised, or even receive anything, then this is a perfect camp. However, if you as a parent expect what you expect of other camps for teens, you will be severely disappointed. Would rate 1/10.

Not to mention that there are 6 periods and 3 of the are devoted to just playing video games. This camp is a useless waste of time. If you want a coding camp go on outschool.
