First we spent some time talking, and she showed me a notepad with some messages from my guides. She wrote those messages before I had even arrived at her office. I was pleasantly surprised because those messages were very relevant for me. Then we moved to the warm and beautiful room for the Reiki session. You feel at peace as soon as you walk in. She used crystals, music, chimes, and aromatherapy. My emotional and physical reaction throughout the session felt like a breakthrough. Since our session, I feel unblocked. I was matched with an instructor on the same day that I sent in my request to InstaSwim. Unfortunately, the initial instructor was not great & kept cancelling on us. I ended up calling InstaSwim & they worked to match me with a different instructor who contacted me the same day. We ended up being matched with Kendra, who has been absolutely amazing with my daughter. She is very patient with her & my daughter has even been trying to do floats & her kicks in the tub. Due to all the delays of trying a different swim program & finally being matched with Kendra, the weather has gotten colder. Thankfully InstaSwim offers an option to downgrade the swim package. I contacted them & was able to downgrade from 12 to 6 lessons with no issues. I highly recommend InstaSwim!

Well, the teachers and assistants exceeded our expectations with the class. We were experienced painters going in and were both able to learn more and break out of our paintings "shells" with their help. Besides being very helpful and knowledgeable everyone was very friendly and stayed late just so we could finish our paintings and give us a tour. We're definitely going to come back and keep supporting the center. What a great way to spend a Thursday night!

The class was a nice balance of coffee history, coffee processing, and coffee making. This was such an amazing experience to with two incredible chefs dual it out on three courses, over…read morethree hours. Sitting up close to the kitchen, we got to see them cook and plate their appetizers, entree and desserts dishes from scratch, incorporating the ingredients that were given to them. Throughout the cooking, we also interacted with the chefs, asking them about the dishes, and also getting some samples of the dishes before they were served. We arrived for Sunday dinner reservation right on time. It was small space with about 20 spots. BYOB place, no cork fee. Half of the seat were around the kitchen. There was a scoring sheet for each guest with names of both chefs, the ingredients of the day and the rules. The chefs got 45 minutes for preparing their appetizers, 35 minutes for entree and 20 minutes for desserts. It was impressive to see both chefs were precise with their timing. The dishes prepared by both chefs were so masterful, had intricacy of combining the ingredients and coming up with some sumptuous flavors. Salmon and steaks were cooked perfectly. It was extremely difficult to score the chefs on barest of margins and pick a winner. But per the rules I did pick Chef Ryan Beegel over Chef Alexis Sicklick. The host was also super nice and funny. She did a super job of explaining all aspects of the dinner, cleaning out plates after each round and serving all the drinks. Truly it was one of a kind TV Show like experience for us.

The instructor was very cool, kept it light (not pretentious, thank god) and played music too, which I like a lot. It was challenging, but I am no expert and could handle it. They seem to have a lot of cool workshops (meditation, more challenging poses, etc.) too and generally it was a community feel, where you could really get to know your instructor. For an uptown spot that isn't hot yoga (ugh), recommend!

I mostly take the yoga classes with Christina on Wednesdays and she's one of the best instructors I've ever had. There are a variety of other wellness and fitness classes available and if you buy a class card, you can use that for all of the classes. The classes are laid back, begin on time and are never so full you don't have enough space. The studio also has all the gear you'll need, so if you're a beginner who is just starting out, you don't need to make an initial investment in a mat, cushion, blanket, blocks, etc. I've found that the classes and services offered at ZenSpace are generally cheaper than everything else in Hoboken, which is a nice perk! The owner, Kristen, is driven to provide the Hoboken community with a large selection of classes and services that improve their health and wellbeing; she is also open to feedback on scheduling and curricula to create the best experience for students. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the amount of yoga classes offered. I'd love MORE yoga classes and workshops, please!

I work with Nicole for the Monday program, and as a future Special Education teacher (one more…read moresemester to go!), I'm amazed at how many different kinds of games and exercises she comes up with to nurture and develop interpersonal skills. The kids are encouraged to drop their inhibitions and step out of their comfort zones when it comes to performing. They learn about theater and acting while they play; their interest and curiosity in theater and acting are evident when they ask things like, "what does it mean to rehearse?" or eagerly volunteer to be the first to try to recite a new tongue twister. Love this class, it would be cool if there was a parent workshop kind of class similar to this!

She talks about it all week and cannot wait for it to start back up again in September. My daughter was always fairly confident however after taking this class her confidence was flourishing even more and she was using her imagination in a lot more ways. I cannot say enough good things about the class and Nicole. So glad we found this gem!!
