We are seniors who had not sold a house in many years, so we were a bit uneasy about taking on this large event in our lives. Within 5 minutes of entering our home, we knew we had made the right choice in Macey. First, she was so respectful of two seniors, who at every step of the way were befuddled about one thing or another. Not once did we get any sense that we were pests or asked too many questions, even when we forgot something she had said. She was a treasure in that respect. But there is so much more. One perhaps unusual feature of our transaction with Macey is that I wanted to be included in any communication. At times I was able to speak for my sister because we are joined at the hip and Macey knew that from the beginning. Claire wanted me fully included in the experience, and Macey honored that. Macey was thorough throughout a process requiring much detail. She kept us updated every step of the way. We always had the sense that we were her only client, though of course there were others. Talking to her never felt hurried or dismissive. She explained options thoroughly, and she never pressured us or hurried us to make a decision. Because we have trouble driving on freeways, she arranged for a notary to come to our house for closing. There is more I could say, but I'll end with this overall evaluation. Macey is the most professional, kindest realtor in the Metroplex. We feel honored to have her honest guidance in the sale of the house, an experience that took only 2.5 weeks. We will soon be needing to sell our primary residence, and we'll be right back in Macey's hands. She is a treasure and I recommend her unreservedly . 10 star experience!!

Was not there for inspection. Could have had the other agent fill in for her as she as unable to make it to fulfill her obligations for her client. Overall, it was impersonal and the service was not up to par in my honest opinion.

Growing up…read morein the area I have had my share of racist experiences but never in a million years would I have expected to deal with it from a manager in my apartment community. Before moving into the apartment in February of 2018 a formal complaint was submitted to corporate concerning the racist profiling from the property manager. The manager has never been pleasant and refuses to speak directly to me. If I am trying to speak with her regarding the property or unit she will ask the assistant manager who is a woman of color to tell me her responses as if I am not in the room. For examhave asked that the groundskeepers trim the bushes and keep up the ground regularly around the buildings and pool. This was a reasonable request. After all, the name of the community is "Mansfield on The Green". After going to school, obtaining multiple degrees and certifications it saddens me to see that some people still see African American men as threats. In addition, becoming a prominent figure in the community I would have never expected to relocate back to Texas and experience such treatment. My hope is that no one experiences this level of disrespect, but that all African Americans are treated equally. As long as this manager is at the property I would not recommend Mansfield on The Green to anyone.

So you are left repeating and waiting again. They may be great when it comes to owners but not tenants.     This is one of the most painful real estate transactions I have ever had. I truly believe it a…read morecouple old sayings, especially now! You get what you pay for and one really can make a mountain out of a mole hill. After using VIP a couple years ago with a couple of other transactions that were challenging but completed relatively on time with the excuses being blamed on the tenant. I reached back out to Shawna King from VIP and asked her about listing two duplexes in the Oak Cliff area. She pushed to communicate with the tenants so she would not have to deal with the property manager because he was challenging distance away for her to arrange inspections and walk throughs. She also wanted to disturb the tenants with open houses and views before offers. I put my foot down and didn't allow open houses. I made it clear when the properties were leased to and rejected an offer with FHA financing because it would require the buyer to occupy the investment property prior to the lease expiring. Once we got an accepted offer this still turned out to be the case. I refused on multiple occasions to involve the tenants. Shawna took it upon herself to have the buyer and the tenant negotiate a buyout, offering the tenant two months free rent to leave early. By now, you can assume escrow was delayed and I was not receiving rent. The appraisal came in very under valued and the deal was going to fall out of escrow. I was asked for a third extension while the lenders requested new appraisal from an appraiser that does investment property regularly. When I first contacted Shawna about listing the two properties, she reached out and friended me on Facebook. Therefore, while my deal was going down the drain and she was telling me how hard she was working to save the deal I was seeing her posts from her "girls weekend" in San Francisco. #girlsweekend #welldeservedbreak Some how by a wing and a prayer the new appraisal was completed and the transaction went through. However, taking a difficult situation of a poor appraisal was exacerbated by the fact the realtor let the buyer talk to and negotiate with the tenants prior to ownership. I reached out many times to the agent and the broker while this transaction was troubled and my calls and emails would go unanswered or they would have some third party call me back like the lender. Why the seller was talking to the lender was beyond me. However, why the buyer was talking to the tenants was also unbelievable. This is my first Yelp review ever! I was just going to let this go and never do business with VIP again, however being emailed to be compensated for a positive review, made me sign up.
